Was Expecting Someone... Shorter

Again Curi lifted his paw into the air to avoid her incisors, he was starting to get a hang of her going at his paws. It was better than her going at his face or wings, he never did try specifically for her face or... yeah for her face. He was just too darn big to hit her other than full bodily, but she was agile enough to give him a run for his meat. This time instead of pounding his fist into the sand he made use of his wingblade.

He wasn’t trying to cut her, or at least not deeply. With an awkward shoving motion the beast tried to smack her with the flat of his bleeding bladed wing. Hopefully it would hit this time, missing a lot was starting to damaged his pride. Not to mention it hurt when she retaliated.

Anjeet let out a startled squeak, jumping backwards, but not far enough to get her face completely out of Curi's reach. The blade still managed to cut across the bridge of her nose. It stung, but fortunately her nose did not seem to be broken. Bloody, yes, but not broken.

Damn it all, this fight wasn't going anywhere for her anymore! Frustrated, the Jawa latched onto the wing that had slashed her. All she wanted was progress, even just a tiny bit of it. Chittering angrily like a trapped animal, the alien made an attempt to unleash hell on the offending wing. Hell hath no fury like Anjeet without results. Honestly, she was probably more angry about her own performance than anything.

It really was getting kind of embarrassing.

Curi huffed and winced as the tiny morsel went at it again with tooth and claws. Them nasty claws which he’d prefer to gently scratch him back and head. She has latched on to his wing and went on a vengeful rampage that consisted of clawing at an already torn up wing. He did nick her accidentally in the nose, half of him the normal him hoped that she would be fine, the curse infected part of him hoped to take her head off.

He had coming. He only had himself to blame. If you’d have been there. If you’d had seen it! You would have done the same! (*Cough*) Curi has nicked her cute little nose, most females tended to rage if you left a mark on them, especially their faces. Of course he has seen this in happen to the mated pairs, of course it was rare for that event to occur but on the chance he has the mate usual paid for it. And Curi did pay dearly in this case, he looked on in masked terror as she shredded his wing. Oh boi it’s gonna take a while for that to heal.

Flailing his wing around the beast tried to fling the rodent off, once again. This was starting to become silly not to mention these antics were tiring, but was grateful she didn’t target his face again. With a heavy flop on his side the nagacuga rolled, trying to squish her for causing his wings to rip. Perhaps he should do her the same favors and rip at her legs?

Whoa, hey now! There Curi goes again with the attempted crushing, only this time he wanted to get her under his full body. Nope, Anjeet knew very well how poorly something like that would end. Determined to not become a Jawa pancake, she gathered all of the strength she had in order to launch herself out of harm's way. That really was a close one!

Huh, look at him rolling in the sand. Despite the fact that this beast was fighting her right now, he still managed to look kind of adorable. The alien almost felt bad for damaging his pride in such a way. As such, Anjeet instead opted to simply skirt around him for a moment, observing him intently for more possible places to strike. She had briefly considered attacking the nargacuga's belly, but figured that he could probably easily roll over and pin her down if she did that.

As adorable as he might look at the moment, Curi had more plans for rolling in the sand than just squishing her. As the fine sand made contact with his wounds they stung slightly, but they stanched the bleeding. He wasn’t looking forward to getting the mixtures off later, as it might include having to find some deep enough water. After his experience at the lake with Scarlet and the naked lady of the lake the beast avoided water sources deeper than the sanctuary’s kitchen sink.

When they had forced him into the pool it took him a while to realize he wasn’t back at the lake. It could have gotten really bad if he hadn’t realised that they lady of the lake wasn’t going to pop out. That and maybe Kev’s voice in his head woke him up.

With a heavy huff the beast rolled back onto its exposed belly to face the little rodent woman. There was a pause before he got up and shook of all the extra sand, causing a bit of a sandsplosion. A great distraction as he lunged at the tiny morsel aiming to tackle pounce her.

Huh, that was interesting. The longer Anjeet looked, the more she began to realize that the sand was helping to stop Curiosity's bleeding a bit. It really didn't look sanitary, though. But that again, who was a Jawa such as herself to talk about what is and isn't sanitary, especially when it came to sand. That would make her kind of a hypocrite.

In that moment, the little alien allowed herself to get a little too distracted. The nargacuga shook off the excess sand, raining stinging dust particles upon her. It gave him the perfect window of opportunity to pin her down once again.

Oh, so he still wanted to play this game? By now, he should probably know what was about to happen. Here come the teeth and claws!

As soon as she bit him, just like he knew she would and since they’ve been playing this game awhile, he added enough pressure to make it hurt. Or so he hoped. Such a sneaky bastard, using his advantage of mass, weight and strength to get her to submit. The curse inside him purred at such deviance and underhandedly way of fighting. In the wilds, there was no such thing as chivalry nor playing fair. When he entered the Breach this moral was developed, and currently it was being devoured by the curse.

When she bit down and gave his heavily padded paw a scratching, which was not the pleasant kind, it only drove him to put more pressure. Surely with enough pressure she would either not be able to move or she could sustain real life threatening damage. Before long perhaps she won’t be able to speak...

Oh wait! She really didn’t speak in a language he would understand. Hmmm perhaps there could another way to forfeit the spar, now that they had in the wilds. Most foes would take off running if it was a territory challenge, others that couldn’t usually displayed what ever submissive gesture they could in their state. Usually exposing their throats, tails tucked, body flattened, bellies exposed, and etc are what come to mind of submitting rivals. It would be quite a challenge for the tiny morsel to submit if the spar had gone too far.

Slowly the nargacuga would apply more and more pressure on the little rodent. He was getting tired of missing and taking a beating at his pride. He who had faced many larger beasts and humanoids alike. The Deviant of the deep mountain jungles where hunters carting is as sure as the sun rises in the east and sets on the west.

Oh he felt about of creaking, was that bones? Or perhaps muffled squeaking? Or was he imagining it ?

Feeling a brief break in the pressure coming down on her, Anjeet managed to wiggle free, albeit with some serious effort. It wasn't easy in the slightest, and managing to do so surprised even herself. The fuzzy alien knew that she had to act fast, trying her best to climb up the limb that had previously pinned her to the ground. She remained focused on the "arm" portion of his limb, keeping her distance from those nasty blades.

With any luck, perhaps the nargacuga's "arm" would get scratched up as she climbed. In brief intervals, she would stop and nibble at the flesh for good measure. Admittedly, though, the Jawa's arms did feel tired. She wondered how long she would be able to stay on.
