    Seeking Solace

Scarlet opened the door to the dark room that she was now calling home and gently lowered her bag, letting the door click closed and lock behind her. Arguably, she hadn't been spending a whole lot of time here. Probably because it was...too quiet. Lonely, even.

Once the lights were on, she leaned against the wall that led to the kitchen and sighed quietly. This...place... It didn't feel right. There was nothing inherently WRONG with it...but... The knight sighed, then. Maybe there was a way to make this temporary home feel...more like home. She took a slow look around, taking it all in. There seemed to be a small sitting area in the front of the apartment-like 'room', an area for dining... In the back, she knew there was a place for bathing, storage, and sleeping. Hm... Scarlet slowly folded her arms over her chest in thought. She doubted, quite highly, that she'd have any form of guest while she resided here. Maybe...changing things up would suit her needs, better. That single thought drew a smirk onto her face, and she rolled up her sleeves.

Unfortunately for the people around 248, this wasn't going to be a quiet process.

One of the first things the knight tackled was shifting the bed into the main room, followed by the dresser that'd been stuck in the 'bedroom', and one of the nightstands that had been next to the bed. The tv and it's stand were shifted into the back room, as well as the desk that had been in the nook beside the bathroom and one of the chairs. She also plopped a side table from the living room in the back room. Now that the extra furniture had been shifted around, Scarlet shoved the bed where the tv had been previously, head against the wall shared with the kitchen. A bit more shifting resulted in the large potted plants being left by the kitchen table, and the couches to be pushed a bit closer, if only slightly. The dresser was pushed into the nook she'd removed the desk from.

From there, she went to set up the back room. It would become more of a training room, or 'office', depending on what needs arose. Regardless, it would be mostly empty space, she assumed, for a while. The desk was pushed so that it was in between the bedroom door and the closet door, and the tv stand was scooted in front of the window. She pivoted the remaining nightstand against the wall, next to the television, and directly across from it, on the wall shared with the bathroom, she left a chair and a side table. As if she really needed the extra seating...

At the least, it would leave the bulk of the floor in that room wide open.

Once she was satisfied, she sat down on the edge of her bed and took a look around. It was more cramped in the main room, sure, but...the busy-ness made her feel a bit more at ease.

    Spoiler:

(Obviously not the right colors, because...you know...Sims. lololol)

With that mess out of the way, Scarlet ventured over to her bag, fished out the wine-bottle-and-a-half she'd pilfered from the Sanctuary, and set it out on her kitchen countertop. If she could get back into her old routines, it could make things a bit easier. Hopefully.

A long striped, spiked covered tail dangled from the roof of the Stock Pot Inn, most of the time it’s owner kept it curled c neatly and out of the way. But tonight was different some loud noise has disturbed his sleep, he couldn’t really call management or tell them to quiet it down. After all he lived informally on the inn’a roof, and barely had space to fit mind you. He’d chosen to stay there to be closer to his rider, especially after what happened at the lake he’d like to keep close to her. He hadn’t a way to fit in the establish so he would but... go camping on its roof for nos. If he slept at the sanctuary any longer he was sure that he’d just get too heavy to fly because of that wonderful... fridge. It had everything one could ever want or need, stomach wise.

Curi was still quite exhausted from the day’s events, as they were quite frightful and this beast does not use that word lightly. Almost nothing scares the Silverwind, though a bunch of things leave the fluffer uncomfortable. The noise made by moving things scraping against the floor had woken him up and he followed it to his rider’s nest. He would have poked his head in if he could, but he was quite tired so his tail would have to do the job, carefully.

    Tap.. tap.. screeeeek tap... Prrrzzzz

Luckily the glass didn’t give in, but the tail’s owner stopped moving it and had fallen asleep at his perch tail still dangling. Once in a while the striped death whip would twitch as Curiosity dream of smack things with it as he hunted...
