    (POSSIBLE GROSS WARNING)

    4:58 AM: Jan 17 - April 26th

The plans had gone very well. The one hundred citizens of the breach had followed her into the darkness of the forest on that snowy night.

They found another circle of symbols and stood in a dread pattern, doused in the blood of their new Mother.

And from then on, their lives were forfeit, and so were their bodies.

Each day they stood in a daze, their skin infected and stretched. They followed her later to the sewers with unnatural grins splayed across their faces. A few teenagers, a few older humans, a couple alien looking people... all unnoticeable garbage that populates the Breach. They line up sitting on their haunches, as the Children feed Mother's aura into them, and more and more insects flooded their bodies from every orifice they could find.

For months on end they were fed, their souls warped and their minds broken.

    7:06 PM: April 30

The hours have gone by far easier than they should have. Normally when one is excited and expecting something great in their lives, time enters a standstill. However... the Piper has enjoyed her time waiting. She had almost forgotten how it feels to be in complete control of her plans. And of course the possibility of a reward is nice, however... Nessa doesn't particularly care. Her powers might grow and she might have an ally for the future... but her menial life here needs some pizzazz and this is definitely doing the trick. Her steps have no sound, but as she walks the sewers, the rot and pestilence in abundance not only in the sewer, but in every body about her, each being looks toward her with a face of relief. Mother is back, for another feeding? No? What is it you want Mother?

The Piper stands in the middle of the maintenance room once again, her children suddenly gathering to her. Each rat getting bigger each day. Even Suzanne had packed on a few pounds. The albino rat taking up a good portion of her shoulder now. The Immortal Humani calls upon once again, within herself, the consciousness of the Elder within her. Her aura changes, the bloodred tint disappearing and suddenly a sickly violet color splays across the ground, seeping out into the sewers full of warm bodies. Her eyes glow red and the First Children hiss loudly as Nergal's presence makes the air much heavier... She cannot summon it in full force, but for just these few simpletons she has kidnapped, it is enough.

She let's her mind sink into theirs. One last thought rings within all of their nearly empty skulls.

It is time, children... do as you were told. Mother loves you.

In unison, the smiling bodies stand. Turning in single file toward the sewer entrances and walking up into the world and into the back alleys... where they were told to go.

    9:32 PM: April 30

Most people are walking or driving home. It's about that time isn't it? People are finishing up their days, making their ways home, they feel safe and escape from the outside world is within reach.

Terror is best relished when the salvation seems close.

From each alley entrance, from the darkness of the dumpsters and sewer grates. The 100 former bodies of these lost souls emerge, spread thin throughout the Breach's inner city.

Their faces are malformed and grotesque now, the time is now for their final destiny. As they enter the public, each other citizen looks on with surprise and fear, confusion. What is going on with this guy? Where did this kid come from? Why are they staring at us like that?

    ...

In that fleeting moment of confusion, each of the bodies burst, a green puss like fluid floods each of their immediate areas, sending maggots, locusts, insects of prey, and wasps of all kinds in all directions. Fleas spread out through the air like another gas in the mix of breathable substances. They crawl... they sting... the world around them panics as each person is assaulted with the odious stench of raw unadulterated gore and fecalmatter.

People run, but they are not as fast as stench. Many clutch at their faces as the stink permeates throughout the business district and the insects bite at their skin and sting relentlessly.

A roar of panic sweeps the city.

    A plague is upon them.

The Piper cleans her fingernails, sitting on a treetop on the outer edge of the city.

What a days work, right Suzanne?

The single white rat scratches her chin then looks at Nessa with the same look she always has.

    Pure bliss.

Nessa's shroud swirls about her, her aura in a complete storm around the tree. Oh she feels it. She HEARS it from here. The suffering of an entire city, ah... it's music to her ears.

Yes, yes, this should cover it! Olabisi had found the materials she needed for her next clothes mending job with relative ease. This was the Business District after all. You could find just about anything here if you looked hard enough. Whoa, wait just a minute!.. If the mummy's nose had been visible at all, it would most certainly have been wrinkling in that very moment. What was that horrible stench?! While she, for the most part, was used to odors that many would find repulsive, this was almost too much to handle!

The source of the fetid smell quickly made itself known. The alien observed them intently, curious and confused. Were they all... undead, zombies? In that moment, she came to regret her decision to simply stand there and stare like that. Their bodies exploded, literally exploded! In their wake was a noxious cloud of long-dead bodily fluids and insects. Fleas, wasps, locusts, the works! Despite her hair bandages readily swatting at the ravenous pests, many had already come to rest upon her body. They were feasting, and she could swear that some were even trying to get to her insides by slipping under her bandages. This was the final straw for her.

Ignoring the relentless itching for the time being, the alien ran away as fast as she could, screaming all the while. She could outrun the insects to an extent, but the greatly worsening stench had already caught up with her. Her eyes were watering, vision blurring as she choked back vomit. There was no way she could stop now. The disgusting insects, like the stench that now lingered like a fog, would only assault her once more if she did!

Finally, she came to her street, Dell Avenue, and hastily retreated into the home that she and her Ectonurite friend shared. The Thep Khufan didn't once acknowledge her friend as she darted down the stairs and into the bathroom, dropping her shopping bag on the way down.

    "SHOWER, SHOWER!!!" she screeched.

"Ola, wait! What's wrong?" Spenst called out to his friend as burst through the front door.

She didn't reply, nor did she acknowledge his presence in the slightest. The only thing the ghost-like alien could hear as his mummy friend bolted down the stairs was her screaming about needing a shower. This was very unusual for her. Why in the world would she need a shower? Members of her species didn't typically bathe, and this was for good reason. Water tended to make their bandages heavy and quite difficult to control. The Ectonurite went after her, knocking on the bathroom door. From the outside, he could hear the sound of water running, as well as frantic scrubbing.

"Ola, come on. What's going on out there? Why do you need a shower?" he asked.

"J-just look outside!" the mummy replied. "You'll see!"

Before he even had a chance to move to a window, he could hear the sound of screams coming from outside. Something was definitely amiss out there. He pulled back the curtains, and was shocked by what he saw. Countless people were running for their lives from an army of buzzing insects. They were everywhere!

"Oh," was the only response that Spenst could muster for this chaos.

Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day! Inside the barber shop in the city, Zim pulled himself up out of the trashcan in the middle of the room and wiped his hands on a rag. Dib's absence had by now become suspiscious, so in the bowels of his lab under the barber shop, he had been hard at work trying to create a device that would find Dib, wherever that stink was hiding in this place, so that Zim could punch him right in his swollen, water logged head! ...Hey, he had to do something other then cut hair. And Dib had only been here for one day, after all! After their altercation, the fool probably ran like a coward. Though progress on the tracker had been going slow, he had to find DNA of Dib stink somehow and somewhere, but surely he had some of it somewhere. In the meantime, it was time to open the shop!

...Why was it so dark outside of the windows? Zim turned his head to squint at a clock. 9 am...the sun should have come up! Unless... "..." Scratch that earlier jubilation! Oh what a beautiful evening, oh what a beautiful night~! Though only now did Zim seem to hear the screams and panic outside, and he approached the window to find chaos outside. There was pus spread all over the place, gross and green and congealed, and insects of all kind were swarming and attacking people. The smell hit his antennae and it only took a moment for Zim to turn and dive into the trashcan, a tube opening up that carried him down into his lab. "COMPUTER! SEAL THE BASE! SEAL EVERYTHING!" With a slight grown, the AI followed his orders. The tube openings sealed shut with metal, windows and doors were locked. The barbershop was isolated from the rest of Zim's base, as the alien dug into his pak to put on some familiar clothes. The small alien reached the end of the tube, grabbing out the disinfectant and turning, walking backwards until his back hit a wall, looking as if he were ready to fight off an enemy of some kind, armed with disinfectant spray.

"Nothing comes in. The shop is CLOSED!" At least until this gross mess was over!
