Garry looked around. The first thing he noticed was that this wasn't the full group... there were still people missing. Did they explore too far outside the castle or do something they seriously didn't want to do in the castle? Did they find some other creative, imaginative way to kick the bucket? Scoundrels, the lot of them. Why die in a place where you can't make a big scene of it? Ah, well. Garry decided to not lament their absence any further and instead to pay attention to the task at hand. He couldn't help but wonder where they were, though...

Ah, treacherous places full of natural hazards. Garry knew how to get around in them, if only a bit due to different circumstance! Living in a world where 80% of it was uninhabitable was a pretty good thing for your survival skills, even if he'd spent most of his years living the high life undercover as an Intelligence Captain. Basically, his reflexes were alright and he could survive a bit longer in hazardous substances that were weaker than seithr. It wasn't much, but it was something, and that was that.

Huh... she bowed. Not really something that he was expecting. Oh, the pawn prawns bowed too. Well, this was quickly getting awkward. Hibiki - get up, you. He wasn't one of them. He's Garry's friend. But, either way... it wasn't like they had much of a choice now, was it? It was either fight or die. Fight the Red Queen and stop the thorns, preventing the thorns from encasing and destroying the world, or remain complacent in the White Queen's castle while she dies and get encased by the oncoming barrage of thorns and other dangerous wildlife that no-one had gone to stop.

Ah, potions... Garry stepped forward when the White Queen offered. "Thank you, Your Highness. We'll put them to good use." He took one of each, pocketing them and standing with the others. They were nearly ready to sod off at this point, he assumed. It had been a long, LONG time since he'd been on a boat. His airship didn't count, nor did his underwater base; airship was on air, base was under water and stationary. A boat on water was different... so he didn't really remember whether he got seasick easily or not. Time would tell, he supposed.

Ah, a map... Garry's good hearing let him pick up on Nym's words, and he understood Nym's confidence earlier. Well, the map was in Tally's hands now. Good luck getting it out of there. Speaking of getting things out of Tally's hands, Daemeon proceeded to take the cookies from her. Was that really such a good idea? "Is it really a good idea to let that guy hold out cookies? Half of you would probably tell me it's the pot calling the kettle black, but still..." Garry had apparently grown a backbone! Either way, he called out Daemeon there and then.

    Ready to leave whenever.

“…does anyone have a gag for Crowley and Daemeon?”   She wasn’t willing to sacrifice any of her yarn, she didn’t want to get their spit on them.   The cybertronian looked to Knock Out.  Their needs would be a bit different, regarding transportation, protection, but even so they would have to take care of themselves.   The femme didn’t want to put resources towards catering to their needs.  Besides, even if the Red Queen managed to pierce through their spark chambers, the radiation and readily-conducted electricity of the area wouldn’t be pleasant to any organic limb.

The child stayed right beside Daemeon.  The jab at Crowley was more of a jab, but she was serious about Daemeon.  If the demon managed to somehow, so unfortunately, fall off the boats it wouldn’t cause her must distress.  What would she do, jump after him?  The best she could do in the water is drag someone down, there was no way she could float.  Her eyes stayed focused on the demon, not letting him leave her view as she stuck close.  Her body tensed as he took the potions, and she herself took one of each of them.   “Thank you.”   Her optics quickly glanced around, taking note of who was here.

And who wasn’t.   The child was worried, for Nessa had yet to appear.  Maybe…maybe she wasn’t too keen on traveling with them?  Livewire could not blame her, of course she couldn’t.  Livewire herself didn’t much want to go either, but…

Seeing the Queen’s disheveled form  was all the push that Livewire needed to confirm her action.  She would help, only to help Sonia.

Again, a sigh. A quiet, yet obvious sigh. Joshua was quite impressed by his companions, they possessed some frightening levels of intelligence, to be able to jump from conclusion to conclusion with little to no support between ends they arrived at. The things they would be able to get done. Solving world hunger, curing all diseases, finding a way out of this prison, anything was possible! Anything except logical conclusions, it would appear. Good luck with that, my dears, Joshua would watch and watch until someone messed up too much, and then purge them. They wouldn't die, that was not his purview. Let the judges handle such mundane tasks, erasure was a more noble pursuit. Let them stew in their illogical lives and live them out in whatever fashion they desire, and die in whatever fashion they or those around them desire. That was not his problem. Whether they deserved to do so was another matter entirely, and one worthy of extensive examination. Joshua, however, was not and never would be a judge of any sort of law.

"I'll take the red pill, your majesty." So saying, he took one of each of the potions from her servants, using telekinesis to move them across the room to his waiting hands, which did not take them. Instead they slipped beneath his shirt all on their own to disappear into his pockets. Perhaps they would be useful later, as was the intent, Joshua would not turn down help so freely given, though he would not offer his own help so freely.

"Well there's not much to thank me for-HEY! Hands off there buddy. There's a limited number so no grabbing." she said tucking the bag away from any grabbing hands. Woah there buddy you might need to slow down, talking to you Daemeon. There were only three cookies after all. So no one had better try snacking on them or using them all willy nilly, OR grabbing them out of her hands. Especially looking at you Daemoen, Tally didn't trust you or your shenanigans.

A tail wrapped around her leg drawing her attention away from the demon and to the blue wolf. Nym wasn't it? He told her about how Zurg had mentioned her before, called her a veteran and then offered her the map that he had acquired so that she could keep an eye on it. "I'll take good care of it Nym." She said, thanking the wolf before tucking the map away next to the cookies. Before someone tried to take that out of her hands as well.

Sonia, despite her condition, rose to thank them all with a bow. The entire movement made Tally clench her teeth and she restrained from telling the other to sit right back down. Thankfully Sonia eventually did, and also offered them potions that would help heal and restore energy. Tally took one of each, like the others had. "Thank you," She told Sonia.

She rested her hand on her sword and waited to see what they needed to do next.

Washu's glance traveled between the two demons at Livewire's comment about a gag, and she allowed herself a snicker. "Well, that would certainly make things a bit quieter around here, wouldn't it? Hmm, maybe I have something we could use in my subspace . . . oh wait, speaking of things that are in there, those of us that went to the library found a book with some sort of light spell in it, that allows the caster to see through pure darkness. I'm hanging onto it until there's a good opportunity to use it."

Given the nature of all of this, 'pure darkness' was really subjective. Did it mean the actual lack of light, or did it mean the darkness that may lurk in the Red Queen's heart? Washu would save the spell as long as she could; there was no way she'd use it when other sources of light could work, like her energy blade or the magics some of the others could throw around.

The scientist inwardly winced when she watched the Queen stand to bow to them. Augh, no, sit down before you burn too much of your strength doing that! Washu still bowed back, despite her worries. She hovered forward to take her share of the potions, taking a bottle each of the red and the blue. "Thank you, your majesty."

And then that boat ride was apparently going to take days. Judge Fear nudged his brother's side playfully with an elbow and felt his prospects going up immensely. Hope you don't mind paying that week'sss worth, he hissed cheerfully. And hope a certain barkeep with the fluffiest of tails didn't mind her tavern being sucked dry. What's this about vials, though? The White Queen had offered for them to receive two potions: one of a reddish liquid and another of a striking azure. Which was which, asked Knock Out. A very good question... Neither of the Dark Judges were very certain if these tonics would work, but Judge Mortis was correct. It couldn't possibly hurt, could it? Judge Fear took his set with a grateful nod to his brother and stored the fragile containers within the many pockets of his utility belt.

Better safe than sorry, although it remained to be seen if healing factors could work on the lawfully deceas -

    ... wrote:"Like what you sssee?"

    Le nope. Nope, nope, NOPE.

Judge Fear promptly looked away and decided that the inner sanctum's walls were suddenly of interest, his eyes respectfully averted. Good Grud, he mumbled across their connection. Thisss isss almossst more sssevere than you and that dreaded love boat. Augh, the horror. There was only so much mental torture a Judge could take! Fortunately the subject changed and his brother no longer decided to agitate the maidens...

Sssonia isss not royalty by blood. When merging with her mind monthsss ago, I dissscovered that ssshe sssharesss an interesssting bond with a horde of lobssstersss. They are a rather belligerent crowd, and it isss wissse to never provoke them unlessss desssired. They consssider her their "queen". How that came to pass, however? Ah, the Dark Judge knew not. The mental link with the girl had been far too short in order to glean anything truly worthwhile. Nevertheless, he did make the fascination discovery that Sonia was not all that she appeared to be. This was only reaffirmed upon joining minds with the White Queen a second time; a decision Judge Fear will no longer be eager to repeat. It could be Cailia and it could be sssomeone elssse. It could even be bloody Death for all we know, given the Red Queen'sss modusss operandi and the one time Death waltzed into the passst wearing nothing but drag. A very, very, very odd can of worms right there. And as for Cailia's beloved subjects?

The ghoul gave it some thought but nothing came to mind. I had only merged mindsss with her once, and that had been when I wasss far too feeble. There were facesss in the psssychic void, fair and youthful. That isss all I can recall, however. Gay laughter and radiance... Two vague clues with little else to add.

Big enough, he says... Clearly his brother was feeling particularly "modest" today. Such rambunctious behaviour will have to be directed further at a certain narcissistic mech~!

Demonic Lush wrote:"If you're right, my beautiful new dead friends, we're all fucked. Gloriously, intensely fucked. It's going to be so much blessed fun."

...and not at a potentially frisky Crowley.

"I humbly abssstain," rasped a fuddy-duddy Judge Fear, his tone dry. A malignant presence swept through the group as the ghoul stared at his wonderful teammates. It seemed he actually took Crowley's words to heart, perhaps stuck on a literal interpretation. After what he experienced with Megido not all that long ago... "There ssshall be no intercourssse upon our jussst persssonsss, sssinnersss." And, really, there would be no enjoyment from either parties during such a heinous act. Then again, it was Crowley... The demon probably lusted for anything that appeared remotely capable of such nauseating fantasies.

    UGH.

The White Queen watched the conversation going on between the members with a passive visage, though she was curious about these outsiders but the time for inquires was falling drastically short. Now was the last time at least for what could be discerned that they would be able to call on her for answers. Soon they would be own their own in the Mire where only their wits and prowess would aid them. ”The Red will restore your Health and The Blue will restore your energy.” However the questions of armor to guard against taking of hearts. Her hand absently moved to her own chest plate. ”I can give you some armor if you so desire but be warned that the Red Queen is determined and only armor will not stop her.” A word to the wise, you could say.

Nodding to those who offered thanks she gave a gracious incline of the head. ”You are welcome.” She then looked to Discord and considered his question for the moment. ”It would be wise to leave as soon as possible. To wait could be a grave error.” However she found slight distraction in Daemeon, finding his barely masked politeness to truly show why he deserved that dungeon stay. His manner were lacking but she had faith that those around him could correct his behavior if need be, and they would have too.

As for other things…The White Queen simply stared at Mortis, completely unreadable for the moment. Such vulgar movements from those who declared to be just and lawful men. The White Queen closed her eyes, the whispers of doctors and guards alike whispering in her ears like a faint tickle. A low inhale was all that escaped her when further foul actions escaped the lips of one named Crowley. They were certainly a rowdy bunch. Now all except the Judges had partaken in potions. She took one final look at those assembled and removed the hand from her armored chest play, raising the other to extend out, in a welcoming gesture. ”Fair Faren, Adventurers. May you succeed in your travels and land safely on the other side of the Mire. A guard will take you to the docks, where you will you’re your vessel and its crew.” A final blessing unto them before the travel, and the last look at the sickly monarch before venturing off. Hopefully death would not come to pass for anyone, them or herself.

As The White Queen had said, a guard had stepped up, motioning to the party.
”If you will follow me, the vessel is prepared for journey.” Bowing to the Queen, he righted himself and made for the doors that were pushed open and her scuttled through them. Now it was time to go to the fair ship prepared for you.

Event: The White Queen has offered potions
Note: The party members should think on the offer and share any information they deem useful with everyone else, party members may also take the potions offered by the White Queen.

According to Amalan, the red potion may be the one that was used for healing as he had such potions in his world. It was possible that these things may work like in his world, but it was possible that they may not. Grodus said the same, as it was apparently similar in his world, red for healing blue for magic or energy. In the end the Queen herself would have to confirm or deny it. Though the bracelet he had, apparently given by Grodus..that was incredibly interesting. The mech looked to Joshua with a grin. "Looks like you won't have to test taste anything to detect poison this time." It'd come in handy in case the Red Queen tried giving them anything.

Discord wondered when they would leave and Daemeon decided that using his hands to grab things was for chumps. Energy retrieved the potions for him, though it seems he tried to snag Tally's cookies as well. Judge Mortis got in one the Tally action by doing the pelvic thrust. The mech raised a brow. Even more brow raising was Crowley doubling over laughing and...apparently reacting to what the Judge's had said, though he hadn't really heard anything particularly funny? "...Did I...miss something?" They were fragged why? And it was fun...how? "I don't have a gag but I'm sure I can make one." More for Crowley than Daemeon at this point. And then Garry piped up and used that voice of his! Insisting that Daemeon holding the magic cookies might not be the best of ideas. In any case, Tally was quick to hoard her cookies away from grabby hands slash energy magic...things.

Washu had a spell book with a light spell inside, very promising and useful. And the Queen answered, her answer corresponding with those of Grodus and Amalan. Red restored health, blue restored energy. "Noted." Leaving as soon as possible was apparently the best idea, and once everyone had the potions, or at least anyone who wanted it had grabbed them, the Queen gave her farewells. "Fair faren, White Queen." They were left in the...er...claws of a guard. There was no telling if they would see her at the end of this thing or if they were going to die in the Redlands. A bit solemn, the Cybertronian followed the guard to the ship quietly.

Hmm, that was more or less what Grodus figured, that no mere piece of metal would be able to keep the Red Queen from claiming her prize should she decide to take someone's heart. All the more reason to follow the typical role of a mage and toss spells at her from the back ranks if they survived long enough to fight her, let everyone else get up close and in range of her swords.

At the White Queen's final words to them, the technomage bowed his head to her once more, taking a good long look at her before he spoke. "Fair faren, milady. We are up against quite the challenge, but we will set things in this world back to normal."

The group was, well . . . 'full of disparate wills' was rather an understatement, given everyone had their own agenda, but that was all right. There was nothing quite like fighting for ones' lives to present the common goal of stopping the enemy to a group this scattered. Who knew, maybe the enemy would be courteous enough to take out the more troublesome members first if they were lucky.

Soon enough, it was time to go, with one of the prawn pawns scuttling up to them and offering to lead the way. Without another word, Grodus turned to follow the soldier, out of the room and into the castle's halls.

Look before you take, Xavier. The number of cookies finally registered in his mind so he put the cookie he took back. It would definitely benefit someone who could digest it. He was still in the dark how the potions affect him. Red for health and blue for energy. Xavier knew nothing on magic or did he used it. All he knew, red for vomiting and blue for death. That would bring a very sudden end to this event.

The biometal man sighed as everyone was still not getting along. Granted Daemeon was just being an ass or something, the Judges were being rather disgusting, and Crowley being Crowley. The alcoholic demon seemed to think everyone would meet an end on the Red Queen’s island. Great.

“I vote for gagging the two of them. If there is a cell on the boat, we could keep Daemeon in that since he so loves it,” he chuckled. “I’m sure Crowley would behave himself.” After all, Crowley was just drunk and hasn’t tried to start anything in the past few days.

“Thank you again for your hospitality, White Queen.” Xavier bowed respectively and followed as the Pawn Prawn lead the group of misfits out of the Queen’s room.

The alien simply looked away with a hand over her eyes, shaking her head in silent but still obvious disapproval. Seriously? If he had to do that, he could've at least waited until they were out of the Sanctum. The nerve of him, right in front of the queen! Was that treason? Could he be arrested for treason? A tiny smile broke across her mostly-hidden face. Now that would be a sight to see, the so-called judge of the law being dragged away to the dungeon!

"So..." she finally piped up in an attempt to break her awkward silence. "I guess we'll be off then."

"Come on, don't you think that could've waited? That's no way to be behaving in front of a queen!"

The elf gave one last look in the queen's direction before making like the others and getting on that boat.

Well now, this was more like it! They'd be heading out soon and on their way, and with that map in safe hands and (almost) everyone prepared, having taken the potions and whatever else they needed, it was time to get going. Nym cared not who or what the Red Queen was, all he knew was that she was doing nothing good, and she needed to be stopped. "I am ready to leave," he confirmed to others as he decided to walk beside Tally and stay close to her.

As for Daemeon and Crowley... well, what about them? He merely ignored their comments, knowing someone else within the group would gladly silence them if they kept it up. Nym wouldn't be one of them, of course, but he wouldn't really mind seeing such an act. Just a bit.

"Stay safe until our return, your Grace," Nym said in a stern manner. It may sound like overconfidence, but it's better to be optimistic than pessimistic, right? Nym had a little bit of faith in (most) of the others.

These people were so disruptive, it was almost ludicrous. Some of the language flying around, along with some of the actions and reactions, were quite disgusting. On the same level as the interaction between Cailia and Zurg in the sanctuary. It was contemptible, and Joshua turned towards the guard that arrived to escort them outward, following promptly, attempting to make the division between him and the rest of these filthy beings all the more apparent.

"I wasn't taste testing for poison, Knock Out, I was eating something we all knew was poisoned already." Can you please get some of these people killed already, Dark Ones? They do not need to be present for this venture. Yes, the judges were two of those contemptible people, but that was a problem he would have to deal with himself at some point, it being beyond the purview of most of the rest here, from what he had observed.

As he began to follow the guard, he addressed the group as a whole on the topic of the two demons. "If your binding and gagging ends poorly, I will be voting to leave you behind. If you cannot raise yourself to the level where ignoring them becomes easy you should not be here. Take a leaf from the ill Queen's book and think it through."

((I am so sorry. xD ))

    ---

So much input! It was wonderful. Even Livewire was getting in on the kink. "Okay Fear, you can embrace your lovely Mortis while you watch the rest of us!" He managed to walk out of the room containing the Queen before he continued, because even he had at least some sense of decorum. Pulling what he was about to pull in the presence of royalty was liable to get him shot.

As for Livewire and Xavier, Crowley paused in his speech while he rummaged around in 'his' extradimensional pocket, looking for... There it was! "You want gags? How about this one?" Here he held up a strip of leather with a clasp at both ends where they could connect that looked like it was adjustable. It had some sort of ringlike contraption in the center of the strip that looked as though it was used to hold something small open. "I can get more if we need one for me too, but I think that you are all more concerned with Daemeon." His smile was quite wide and guileless, and he spent a little bit more time sending admiring glances at Mortis' corpse of a body before looking around. "Well? I have leashes too."
