And just what was his brother insinuating? "I am not againssst walking through difficult terrain, but I would rather we go about sssuch an excursssion sssmartly," was his even reply. Perhaps instead of walking they can utilize something far less tedious, such as a flying vessel or a dimensional jump? This was a scheme that was well off into the future, however. Until the honourable Judge Mortis was back on his A-game and K.A.R.R. had unlocked all of his potential, Judge Fear was not inclined to go gallivanting off into the sunset. Another of their quartet might have...

"Ssso what you're sssaying isss that I'm full of hot air." Subtle? Tch, nothing escaped these squinty ocular slits. Judge Fear dismissed his brother's little jab and felt that his victory over Judge Mortis today was good enough. For the next millennia, in fact. "You could do to blow off sssome sssteam, yourssself." Two can play this game but his brother would only lose.

    Again~!

But it was true, alas. Judge Mortis was of a more levelheaded variety than their scorching brother, and Judge Fear was not one to completely drink of his own ego. He will revel in this win today, but after four days, and perhaps during, he will keep the teasing to a minimum. First things first, however... "Judge Zombie, Judge Zombie, Judge Zombie. Ha ha ha!" Had to get it out of his system. With a creak in these rigid bones Judge Fear rose, cape unfurling down to his knobby ankles. "Chief Judge. It doesssn't sssound ssso bad when it'sss coming from sssomeone elssse'sss mouth," he remarked. These were going to be a great four days, the Dark Judge could already tell. "Alright, that isss quite enough tomfoolery. We have a job to do and we aren't getting any younger. I am heading down to the basssement, Mortisss. Ssshould you need me, I will be there trying to perfect the dead fluidsss." His brother, meanwhile, could do whatever he liked with his infinite time; cleaning up the area would be a good start.

Off the ghoul went and he disappeared from sight after rounding the hall. Not for long, however, as soon a familiar grinning helm leaned out with chains jingling.
    Juuuuuuuudge Zooooombieeeeeeee.

Now he was gone, leaving Judge Mortis to contemplate the rest of his eternal unlife.

Of course they had to go about this smartly. Any other method was going to make them end up as poorly as Sidney during his many attempts at purging the Mega-City. He still had a long ways to go before he was back at his peak, and so far as he could tell their vehicle still had some work to do for its systems as well. his brother's thoughts regarding a possible dimension jump or a flying vessel seemed rather interesting. If only Anderson and the Mega-City One Justice Department had not destroyed their teleportation tech earlier on... They may not have even required the vehicle to begin with for swift transport. Not that they needed the two toned machine in the first place...

Alas, Fear's contacts were his own business. So long as they stayed useful he did not mind.

At that comment regarding steam however, "You look more equipped of releasssing sssteam through that bat-winged kettle on your head." He hissed teasingly. Be careful nothing important falls out when tipping to the side, dearest Fear. However, there was nothing more the sheep-skull headed ghoul could attempt to make his circumstance better, not that it was unbearable to begin with. Better it be his brother calling him Judge Zombie than some arrogant sinner.

    Speaking of which...

Elected Through Trial of Intoxication wrote:"Judge Zombie, Judge Zombie, Judge Zombie. Ha ha ha!"

"Nnnngh... Don't wear out your winningsss too quickly." Yep, even with the knowledge that it was his brother making those childish remarks, it still burned a little. At least he did not decide to poke him in the ribs with those long nails of his, not that he could rightfully feel it. Regardless, even with his brother's rather dubious reason of election to temporary status of Chief Judge, it was better him than the one who usually took that title. "Of courssse it doesss. You jussst won yourssself a temporary promotion through drinking and throwing beer cansss acrosss the room." That was the easiest method of getting promoted to Chief Judge he ever witnessed, even if it was in jest. Who else would not think it sounded good to be called the Chief, the leader?

While Fear was ready to make his way to the basement, Mortis got to his feet with a groan and crackle of ancient, rotten joints. "I never thought you one to worry about age." Mortis returned with a raspy chuckle, before walking about the room to recover the cans that failed to make it into the trash. "Good luck on your work, Chief Judge." He rasped as the ghoul went down the hall, already he approached the sink and wrapped his talons around the discarded can within before he heard a familiar voice.

    Chief Judge Jackass wrote:Juuuuuuuudge Zooooombieeeeeeee.

    Crrrncklssssssh...

What was once a beer can quickly became a pile of red dust in the sink basin, the Judge of Decay slowly shaking his head. It was going to be a long four days.
