This sinner's will was stronger than he thought.

His images and manipulation far too weak to deal with Jay, the beastly man had been able to break free of it and begin to take out his wrath on Judge Fear. Chest pummeling, spitting, cursing... If not for the drain that had been placed on the ghoul's own spirit in his attempt to demoralize Jay, the man would be missing an ample amount of fur on his face and what remained would be rotted away to the very bone. Even Judge Mortis was not spared from the man's assault, spittle splattering on his skull before a foot raised to kick him in the groin.

Alas, he would find no reaction from the emaciated corpse, as his head only tilted to the side irritably. "Make that asssault of two Judgesss of the law, Fear." He added, glaring down the fur-covered man. However, it appeared that Judge Fear had motioned to give a boost to his psychic attack, his presence soon perceived within Jay's mind. Sadism and a wrath befitting Judge Fire laced his attack, lancing the man with damage far surpassing what Mortis could accomplish at his infantile ability with one lancing blow. To think, perhaps he would, nay, will wield such power later on in his confinement here... It only made the ghoul pine inwardly for his lost power that could be better put to use towards this iniquitous creature instead of being held out of his reach for the current moment.

However, Mortis' presence within the man's mind quickly fled once he noticed Fear hold his fluffy eyelids back, a finger curling over the edge of a helm gate. Knowing better than to stay in the line of fire, or in this case, the line of gazing, Judge Mortis quickly retreated behind his caped brother. The following shout was enough to rattle his jaw bones, the ghoul's eyes widening if any had remained within his skull. All that was left to do was observe Jay's reaction while he regained some of his strength.

Though you held the eyes open, Fear, you did not control the eyes.

Jay may have taken a brief glimpse into the helm of fear, but his eyes rolled into the back of his head as far as they could go. The glimpse, however, caused his mind to suffer, slowly causing madness. With a moment of silence and no doubt a few hisses from the Judge's at Jay's resilience, the young man abruptly headbutted Fear, rolled onto his back and kicked him in the chest to push him away. Random insane screams were released, along with words that appeared incoherent. Jay then scrambled along the floor and picked up the army knife the man had used on Drey, which had fallen after the scuffle. He kept his back to the two for a moment as he murmured something and began to laugh hysterically. "AHAHAH, YOU THINK IT'S MY FAULT!" he shouted, another hysterical laugh and scream escaping him as blood splattered on the ground.

Jay turned to the two as he laughed, his eyes gone, gouged out with the knife he held in his hand. "IT WAS YOUR FAULT! ALL OF YOU! YOU CAUSED THIS, THESE VOICES, THESE IMAGES," he shouted, before he fell into a brief fetal position, "it's not my fault, no, the fucker's were the cause of this, I'm guilt free!! Karey had it coming, and so did Mason, the fucks, and Lee... Lee didn't deser-... she did, no, she did... she deserved it just like everyone else, the slut wouldn't even let me do anything... AND DREY!" the knife was thrown at Drey's bleeding body as Jay started to bang his head against the concrete. "FUCKING DAMN IT, SHUT UP, SHUT UP! STOP TALKING!!"

Jay has gone insane. The headbutt could not be dodged, but it did no damage.

    Well now.

With Drey bleeding out, Zs'Skayr removed himself from the body, still invisible to all and glanced down at it, the reptilian creature's eyes still hinting life. <"Your body was a great vessel, boy, but now, it's time to get rid of you. Nothing personal, just business."> he mentally told the dying man as he tapped his scythe and gave it a look-over. In tip-top shape, as usual, and able to slice a single hair. Just as he liked the weapon to be. Now then--

    cccCCREAAK

Ooh, what was this? The Judge was about to do his 'gaze' trick upon the young man, and as Fear shouted it out, it wasn't exactly received as well as one would think. Whatever happened it was not Zs'Skayr's problem, and the theatrics the boy did were merely an annoyance. The knife was thrown at Drey's dying body, but it missed, and Zs'Skayr shook his head. Tsk tsk, he though as he allowed the Judge's to deal with the now insane Jay. Now then... Drey's turn.

Zs'Skayr decided to have some fun, and used some psychic energy to raise the dying body and slam it a few times against the ground, as if it was a ragdoll, and threw it against the wall. A small snicker escaped him as he chased after the body, having a little too much fun with it.

Patience. Your faithful brother in undeath will strive tirelessly in making you stronger, Judge Mortis. Power will once more be yours soon enough, rest assured. For now, however, there was one sinner who so tenaciously thought to deter justice. The mortal known as Jay needed to simply die...

Quietly the armoured Dark Judge observed the beginning of Jay's end, the sinner's mind sharply plummeting into madness. He may not have stared directly into the face of Fear long enough, but even a mere glimpse was capable of inducing sheer hysteria in the weak. Jay's mind was devoid of mental fortifications and his character was questionable... feeble. What became of the sinner's psyche was inevitable and the gates of Fear closed with a deathly hush. Listen! Listen, as the sinner thought to shirk blame elsewhere... Listen, as the sinner refused to see the truth in death. And listen, as the cold, emotionless rattling of Judge Fear's chains drew themselves ever closer to Jay's legs...

So you thought to gouge out your eyes and suckle upon denial, Jay... It will not save you. No one will save you.

RPer note: please do not read the spoiler if you are squeamish. This character is ruthless, and I do not want to unintentionally upset anyone.

    Spoiler:
Despite the incompetent kick to his chest and the sinner's gory stunt, Judge Fear went back to work as if nothing of the sort transpired. He fastened a robust knot of steel around Jay's ankles and soon stood up, the Dark Judge taking a moment to retrieve the man's discarded army knife. It will prove useful in a moment's time. No attention was paid as Zs'Skayr continued with his sinner, for the ghoul had not yet purged this one. Judge Fear left the ghost-creature to his work and returned to finish the job. Weapon in hand and chains in the other, the Dark Judge headed up the basement stairs with a mumbling and bleeding Jay in tow; he gestured for his brother to follow. Up, sinner. Up we shall both go, to the street and ultimately your final resting place. Are you ready to rejoice? Are you ready for salvation? Mentor the world with your enlightened words, and let your blood freely paint this sinful earth. You will be its herald.

It was cold outside, dark. This was the hour of twilight.

This was the hour of judgement.

Considerate hands quickly went to task with the absolution of Jay's sins, a chain heard being tossed into the air and colliding with metal high above. There was the scraping of steel against paint and steadily, ever so steadily, a body was hoisted higher and higher into the chilled and empty fledgling night.

Hovering four feet above the ground swung an eyeless Jay, the sinner's hands left to hang freely as Judge Fear tied the other end of his chain around the lamppost's thick neck. How presentable you look, Jay, for all the world to see! Do not despair, sinner. Do not despair, for your freedom from this wicked existence was close at hand. Hush, now, and let your devoted attendants see to the rest of your needs. It shan't be much longer that you will have to keep the cold company.

Judge Fear returned to his brother, wherever he may be standing, and offered the army knife with a bloodied hand. "Sssee to it that Jay isss made to atone for hisss crimesss," the ghoul hissed. Make an example of him, brother, and waste no expense. Use the sinner's weapon for both fatigue and a statement to this iniquitous den of crime. The Dark Judge said not a word more, having complete faith in Judge Mortis to carry out the task, and he once again went back into the neglected establishment. Not to clean up or ask for the ghost-creature, however. Judge Fear first went into the kitchen and proceeded to turn on the stove's gas, cranking each and every knob there was before moving out from the room. Finisssh with your sssinner, Zsss'Ssskayr, and quickly, whispered an ominous voice in the void. We are sssoon departing from thisss place. He took a half-empty beer bottle, a box of matches next to a packet of cigarettes, and left for the last and final time.

It was starting to smell heavily of gas...

Patience was one thing that the ghoul was not lacking, but admittedly it did feel somewhat... Frustrating that he could not dispense justice as easily as Fear could. However, in this mortal's death, perhaps Mortis could begin to feel some amount of strength returning to his ability...

For now, it was time to witness the fruits of his brother's work. With's Jay's parting glance into Fear's helm a glint of madness made itself present within the sinner's eyes, a stream of incomprehensible babble following shortly afterward. What was once a man stumbled back and picked up his knife, the ghoul giving a shirt and curling his claws in anticipation for an attack that had yet to come. However, the knife was not intended for Mortis and his brother, instead Jay sought to carve out his own eyes. Blood stained the floor as the man went on to try and shift the blame onto the Dark Judges.

Regardless of the man's hysterical yelling and statements, he was still doomed to his final, single sentence. As Judge Fear wrapped the chain about the sinner's legs and dragged him up and out of the house, Judge Mortis followed along silently as the fur-covered creature was brought out to the streets and raised upon a light pole. "Ssss..." Upon being given the man's knife, Mortis turned over the blood stained weapon, looking it over in what little light was given off by the house. "He will know the meaning of jussstice, brother." He confirmed as Fear left him to return to the house.

Turning to Jay, Mortis allowed his touch to gently grace the blade, blood curdling and turning a sickly putrid black, while the metal started to turn red and orange with rust. "We are going to have sssome fun, you and I." He hissed to the upside down man, cupping the side of his jaw with a rotting hand. With the other, he languidly traced the blade over the man's neck, pausing over a throbbing artery. How desperately this man's pulse was beating, an obnoxious rhythm that would sound far better when stilled.

Oh, but what enjoyment woul there be in quickly ending this sinner's life, when he had committed so many atrocities already? Lifting the blade away from Jay's throat, the ghoul brought the rusted edge to rest over where his navel should be, before slowly cutting away at the creature's flesh, severing skin from muscle in a method as tortuously slow as possible.

A madman of this caliber surely needed to be ended, and swiftly. Jay's mind had gone off the deep end and was still sinking into the darkness that lurks in all minds. Face bleeding, body weakened, spirit virtually gone and mind torn asunder, now was the time to end it. Instead, Fear appeared calm with this situation, and coolly reacted by confining Jay with chains and dragging him up the stairs. Where was he going to go with this insane little man? Outside, as if it were medieval times, Jay was hung upside down over a street lamp and sprawled out for all to see. The house was one of the very few that were vacated in the area, the others no doubt belonging to the now deceased Mason and Karey. Whether people saw it or not, what could they do? This was the outer district, they knew they were not safe here. The chances of someone being around were very low. Your 'art' will go unnoticed until the daylight hours, Fear.

Jay had gone eerily silent through out this journey to the street, still very slightly mumbling to himself, words like "fault", "guilt" and what have you. He made no kicking motions, not actions to fight back, nothing at all, even when strung up like a fresh catch from a lake. His knife was given to Mortis to continue their work as Fear went back into the house, and as the skull-headed man began to find a nice spot to slice, Jay abruptly came back to 'life', and started to wave and squirm like a fish still on the hook. "DON'T TOUCH ME, FUCK! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT, YOU AND THE OTHER ONE! YOU TWO ARE GOING TO PAY FOR THIS!" Jay began to shout aloud, wiggling and squirming and making a commotion, as if someone would hear and come running to rescue him from this fate.

No one was around. No one could hear him. No one cared. And no one was coming.

Because Jay is strung up, he cannot do much. You have the option to use coins or not to see if attacks hit, but with the current circumstances, it'd made more sense to just attack without coins. But it is still up to you.

Drey's HP will be posted in Zs'Skayr's post.

Oh, what's this? Zs'Skayr turned and witnessed Fear taking the insane one up the stairs and leaving him here with the other. Reappearing, the alien looked back down at his victim and shook his head. Although he knew cutting the man's throat would prevent too much retaliation, he was a little disappointed that he didn't even attempt anything. No one could bleed out that fast, could they? Maybe...

Nevertheless, Zs'Skayr thought for a moment and found this dull, deciding it would be best to end this fool's life swiftly and get this over with. Raising his scythe, he was temporarily stopped as he heard Fear returning to him, requesting he be swift with his 'sinner'. A small chuckle escaped the specter at that, "very well," he replied, and picked the reptilian man up but the scruff of his neck, bringing him upstairs into the main room. Out of the window, he saw Jay strung up, and he let out a soft laugh. "Looks like your friend won't have long to live, as well. And it'll be a nice display to everyone around here..." What fun.

As for Drey, he moved little and said nothing. How boring. But, with the house filling up with gas, Zs'Skayr made sure to end the man's life swiftly.

    SHLLLK!

A swish of his scythe upon his nape and the man would surely be decapitated. If he managed to still be alive, he would just bleed to death soon, anyway.

With that done, Zs'Skayr went outside and greeted Jay's tormentor, "Judge Mortis, so good to see you again..." he smirked, his scythe dripping with blood. "There is no need to worry of the other 'sinner'. He has been taken care of..." Now for Jay! This would be interesting to watch.

A statement will be made on this eve, whether it is discovered in darkness or light.

Judge Fear returned to the outside world with materials in hand, but he was not quite finished. Alcohol was suitable for what the ghoul had in mind; beer, however, was simply too useless on its own. That is why, after a brief search with his eyes, the undead fiend proceeded to head for an unmanned automobile not far away. Petrol, yes. Petrol will do nicely. Thick nails effortlessly tore away the vehicle's gas cap and made short work of any stubborn paneling, although that would have to be the extent of the Dark Judge's tunneling. Bloody sinner contraptions... Why were they so needlessly complicated? He couldn't exactly siphon a bit of petrol with no tube and breath, now, could he?

Not to be deterred, the Dark Judge set his materials down (save for the bottle) and went to the saloon's opposite side. There he bent down at the knees and reached under the vehicle itself, sharpened nails heard grasping for something. Where is it, where is it... Was this a blooming American car? Crummy pieces of engineering, the entire lot were. You mean to tell him that these newer models didn't have a - oh no, wait. Here it is, the tease. Now for a gentle twist, and...

    Pop!

The ghoul's efforts for removing the fuel tank's drain cock rewarded him with a hearty splash of fresh petrol, but what did a corpse have to worry about toxic fumes and irritants? Not a lick, and he quickly put his half-empty beer bottle underneath the removed plug. Alright, that was enough petrol. Any drop further and he risked setting more than just the wretched building ablaze. Say, how was his brother doing with the sinner? From the sounds of it Jay had decided to become very lively, perhaps no doubt aware of what Judge Mortis held in those rotten hands of his. Splendid! Finished with what he had set out to do and now smelling like an unhealthy amount of gasoline, Judge Fear left the automobile to drain itself out while he returned to both brother and ghost-creature. The latter, interestingly, now wielded a bloodstained scythe and was minus one sinner. Right, didn't need any detective work for that one.

So the Dark Judges were going to pay for this, was that right? The ghoul simply gazed down at Jay before motioning for his utility belt, Judge Fear retrieving two unused syringes of Mortis' Justice Special. "I prefer it more when you don't talk asss much," came his casual retort. Splch! And there we are, a fresh round of injections for one overexcited sinner. That ought to calm him down some, and... oh! Don't mind if the Dark Judge just - rrrrrip! - took a bit of your trousers, eh? Good man, good man.

He stuffed the makeshift rag into his bottle and gave it a slight shake, making sure the fabric was doused in enough accelerant for a good fire. Hopefully the damn thing didn't go right off in his hands... How long had it been since he thought about explosives class?

"Ssssilence, ssssinner." Mortis hissed, Jay's struggling unfortunately making the ghoul miss his mark and strike at his clothing instead. While he was busy dealing with the fur covered creature however, it appeared Fear was oof doing his own plans for the house. His gaze momentarily went to him as he heard soles slapping softly against asphalt, noting the bottle that he held in his hand and splashing of fuel as the remains trickled from a nearby car.

How resourceful, and he even added insult to Jay's injury to boot. A patch of fabric was ripped from his pants as the ghoul added the finishing touches to his Molotov cocktail, before injecting him with a few rounds of Justice Special. Immediately he could see the effects at work, the sinner's life draining quickly as it began to course through his body. "Indeed." Mortis replied alongside his brother. "I think I ssshall cut out your tongue next, you will not be needing it any longer."

The blade that was still gripped firmly within his claws was not getting any cleaner either...

As he grasped the man's head and readied his knife, who else should come along but a ghostly creature. A bloodied scythe was in his hand, and a grin upon his cycloptic face. Undoubtedly the creature was undead, a welcoming sight, but still there was some mystery to his greeting... How did he mean, so good to see you again? Mortis' gaze turned to the floating being known as Zs'skayr, the sockets appearing to stare at him in a manner that could be considered curious if one knew him. "I believe you are misssstaken," Mortis hissed, turning his empty gaze back towards the task at hand. "I have not met a being such as yourssself before. Fear isss the one who sssseemssss to have hissss conectionsss." The rusted blade cut into Jay's mouth, slowly tearing at the wiggling muscle of his tongue while his free talons dug themselves into his flesh like rancid spears.

"Who are you? Undoubtedly you are the one who had posssessssed the man in the houssse earlier, given prior sssstatementssss." He inquired evenly, blood dripping down the blade and onto his claws as the tongue was removed. Once all the pieces had fallen into place, it was not hard to know just what happened to the sinner known as Drey.
