Well, that idea went down the pipes. And a certain being that could see right through him? Who could he be talking about that lived at the Inn that could do that? However, Daemeon was right about that variable. No telling who might pick up that message instead of her. Perhaps even someone that might be able to figure out what the message meant and connect the two of them together.

Watching him think Nyreena was wondering what other scheme he was coming up with and what he did next threw her off her guard. Watching as he lifted his wrist up, slice it open and see the blood gush from the wound she quickly tensed up. Why would she want to do that in the first place? Why couldn't they just use some sort of message system instead of resorting to this messy idea? Unknowingly taking a step back her face was etched with nothing but fear and worry about what would happen if she did.

...But after taking a moment to think she figured that she couldn't take any risks that might give Jak or someone a clue as to what went on here tonight. Because if they did.....she had no clue as to how she would explain it or why she did it. But hopefully the reason why she did it would give her strength through this guilty ordeal. Shakily walking closer she gripped his hand, drew his wrist to her lips and began to drink down his blood. Oh, spirits forgive her for this.....

Chills raced over every inch of Daemeon’s body as he watched Nyreena drink his blood. Oh sweet Underworld! This is magnificent! She is willingly drinking my blood. This couldn’t get any better! …Oh wait! It can! Daemeon could sense Nyreena’s mind opening up like a book to him. He quickly began skimming it for information on Jak. Of course this ability could only work one way. Daemeon could read Nyreena’s mind by using his blood but she couldn’t red his. The most she could do was said telepathic messages to him. Now, now, what room does she live in… I see. She lives with Jak at the Inn. How cute and yet disgusting all at the same time. That knowledge left a gross taste in his mouth that he would probably need alcohol to get rid of. Now then, what she look thinking earlier. Daemeon began rooting through Nyreena’s mind.

This would give Nyreena a small headache since he was focusing more. Daemeon spoke with a slight smile on his face. “Don’t worry Miss Savaridin. I have no interests of hurting you.” This was true. She was a valuable piece now and he didn’t want to lose her. Well not until he acquired other’s like her. He had managed to gain some leverage here in the city on a more civilian level but none of them were important. Ah, she was worried about Xavier. Seems as though he really didn’t have any to do with Jak. Oh well, he was on the hit list so he was fair game. Daemeon’s first target was still Jak though. There was just something about the thought of killing him that felt so… delicious. Actually, Daemeon didn’t care if he were to kill Jak. He was actually just trying to gain more control over Nyreena and use her in his latest plan… But the thought of using her to kill her beloved did sound fun.

Daemeon withdrew his arm and turned to walk away. “There. I’ll contact you when I need you. Remember our agreement. This deal never happened. When you get back to your place with Jakky, just make up some lie. And-” Daemeon turned around and face Nyreena. He had walked a few feet away by now. “Even the slightest mention of this to anyone will nullify the agreement.” With that, Daemeon smiled as he slowly sank into his own shadow. “Ta ta and have a pleasant evening.” Like that, the demon was gone.
