"How dare you!" He snarled, stepping back as the undead gave his own criticisms. Poor leader, quick to anger? Blasphemy, he was far better than any of the promises this thing gave! "Samne'esh has told me what lays beyond the grave, what one of her blessed look like. Their eyes would glow with the fire of her fury, and from their mouths would radiate the void and it's wisdom! Their bodies would be protected by armor forged of her superior judgement and upon the backs of the blessed would be dark wings of bone and decay." None of these details fit the creature that towered over him. And even then for what purpose would a blessed decide to humble themselves and visit those who had not received their Mother's gift?

The most laughable of his arguments however was yet to come however, as the ghoul demanded to know why he was not 'blessed' like himself. "Ha! My time has not come to be blessed yet, impostor. Mother requires me to guide my followers, my flock, until I have proven myself of her gift. I covet not my living form anything else tied to this existence, blasphemer. Your assumptions only prove your false purpose." Came the priest's haughty response, pointing an accusing finger at the embodiment of Fear. Even as his helmet was opened and the void was presented to the barn the priest gave an arrogant bellow of laughter. "You think yourself the authority to judge me in her place? I will have no more of this folly!"

Shielding his eyes from the Judge's helm, he ducked backwards and wrapped his fingers around the nearest body he could find. The decrepit cult leader from the Judge's previous conversation gave a surprised yelp as he was pulled away from the alter by the edge of his robes. His ram skull mask looked side to side in confusion as he was tossed before the ghoul's helm, nearly stumbling onto his feeble knees if not for the strong hands that held in place before the open helm, forced to gaze through the will of another. Beneath his mask, the man's eyes bulged in terror, a thousand fears revealed before him all at once. Stinging flies, cruel claws, plagues that could span entire lifetimes and not dwindle or fade... And finally, an eye. Her eye. It gazed down upon him with utmost judgement and mercilessness, hissing tongues burning within his ears and mind like many writhing serpents.

"Ah-AAAAUUUIIIIGHHH!" The diseased man screeched, clawing at himself as if to rip away his robes and attack what monstrosities lay underneath. However, it was for naught, as he the terror overwhelmed him completely and he collapsed in the priest's grip, hands gnarled and body frozen into a contorted ruin. As the rest of the cultists gasped and backed away from both the undead and the remaining priest, a curt laugh echoed across the barn.

"Hahahaha! Pathetic." He sneered haughtily. This so called embodiment of fear thought that impressive, he thought that to be a work of their mother? The priest looked over the remains of his fellow preacher and tossed him aside with little ceremony, but not before pulling a vial from his belt. "He never could preach our mother's ways as they were intended, but he certainly had a way with mixing chemicals to better suit our purposes... A pity, he should have been an alchemist." He stated with false mourning, popping the cork from the top of the vial. Within greenish, sickly fluids sloshed nosily, a thick mixture of components most vile.  Within seconds a mist flowed forth from its contents, billowing out before pouring over the side of the glass vessel.

"Now my children, come and bear witness to the true power of Samne'esh! Behold as her power becomes mine to command as her vassal!" He challenged, pulling down his facial covering to reveal his gaunt, pale features. Tipping his head back, he guzzled down the mixture as it dripped like mud into his throat, a loud hiss bubbling from his throat as its contents went quickly to work on his living flesh. Tossing the empty vial aside to clatter onto the frozen ground, he gave a shrill laugh as he looked upon both ghoul and machine. Before them, they would bear witness to his grisly transformation.

At once his flesh fell away from his face like it were burning paper and ashes, a bony grin taking its place as his eyes melted out of their sockets to give way to two points of burning embers. Fingers twisted and contorted, skin stretched and popping before finally splitting with a sickening sputter, bony claws flowing from his wounds instead of blood. Black robing ripped loudly and stretched over his frame, a ghastly hiss splitting the air as he tore away at his clothing and tossed it to the ground. It was all too tight, too chafing upon his person!

Rising to his full height, the now changed priest glared down at his challenger with unliving eyes, seething with hatred. Bony knuckles crackled and groaned, the air growing growing frigid, so cold that not even the flames of the candles could survive much longer as they were snuffed out, leaving the barn in darkness save for the glowing points of red light within the undead priest's eye sockets.

"Now in the name of Samne'esh, the Mother of Decay, I judge you, false blessed! Blasphemer of her name!" He hissed,  the very breath from his bony mouth curling like blackened smoke, before buzzing and fluttering into the form many flies as it dispersed upon the chilled air. "Repent and Decay!"

With his rousing cry, both AI and undead would find that his pistol would be the least of their worries. For with a clench of his bony talons, a mist began to form around his outstretched claw, at first but a wisp, but soon growing thicker and strangely full of disgusting vitality as it buzzed with the fluttering of hundreds of tiny wings, a multitude of jade eyes staring out at the two of them before the priest tossed the cloud upon them. As it washed over them it would soon be apparent what had been unleashed. Flies, millions of them with biting jaws hungry for flesh and paneling alike!

    Sinner wrote:"How dare you!"
Oh he dared quite a bit, mortal.

"There is nothing beyond the grave," Judge Fear ascertained. Not only were cultists deranged and filled with incoherent babbling, but they were also plagued by unrealistic fantasies. Perhaps at another time and place this Samne'esh had coexisted with everything else in the universe. Here, however, there was surely no such deity. "Your arrogance is proof enough," the ghoul returned bluntly. "I need not waste my time with you." And, sure enough, Judge Fear pointedly tuned out the mortal's self-importance. He was far too engrossed witnessing the priest's fears, besides.

Thunk! Down the man collapsed and the Dark Judge closed his helm, a sinner guided onto the path of genuine righteousness. Now, what was that loud sinner going on about? Ah, that's right. He thought to intimidate the ghoul by, yet again, boasting.

A vial was withdrawn, Judge Fear having seen this movie before, and soon the man was transformed from a sickly human to a hellish agent of decay. How interesting! Not the man's annoyance, of course, but of how similar this entire interaction became. Had not the Dark Judge thought to impress K.A.R.R. with a few broken fingers not too long ago? Quite ironic, yet the ghoul could draw comparisons when it was better suited. He took one good, hard look at this supposed champion of rot and honestly could not be motivated to outright care. What was this, a cloud of flies? Was not the champion's target a walking undead? The ghoul let the nettlesome insects bite at his body's flesh and he hardly lifted up a hand in resistance. His sole action, aside from glaring at the cocky abomination, was to brush off whatever pest had thought to perch on the lawman's bony shoulders. They couldn't be having any of that, now.

"K.A.R.R., how good of you to finally join us," Judge Fear addressed his ally, looking past the champion. "You remember our talk about eradicating any naysayers with extreme prejudice, yes? Good, because the blithering creature before you has so kindly requested our help in ushering it toward the next life." Permanently, might the ghoul add.

No longer needing an excuse to unfurl his mantrap's chain, the Dark Judge readied his weapon and eyed his foe with sadistic glee. "It is time, sinner," he hissed. Oh how the ghoul had been waiting for this very moment! "It is time to be judged before a true champion of death," Judge Fear continued as he gave the chain a tight, resounding SNAP! A real disciple of the grave needed not potions! A real discipline of the grave needed not gods or deities! And a real disciple of the grave needed not fraudulent parlour tricks and illusions! The Dark Judge pulled back his arm and whirled the mantrap up high with sudden force, Judge Fear having every intention of bringing this miserable sinner to his wretched knees.

"The crime is life, the sentence is death!" he yelled. "Where your soul is heading there will be no mother's embrace to guide you! Repent and know Fear!"

It was now or never, K.A.R.R.!

Boasting, gloating... Did this priest truly have faith in his own words, or were they merely a cover for an insecurity? The man's heart beat was racing, certainly, and despite the sneer and arrogance in his words there was no calmness nor logic. All that was preached was self proclaimed, even the man's ideal of their deity's undead "blessed" sounded far fetched in comparison to the AI's own driver. Wings of decay, a mouth filled of the void and wisdom, plated in armor? That certainly sounded glamorous for a life of undeath he supposed, but it lacked a certain pragmatism.

Of course, such self righteous boasting had finally pulled the final straw of Judge Fear's patience. The grates of his helm were pulled back, the ghoul's own void of enlightenment through fear presented to the boastful priest. However, it appeared he had decided it best that his fellow cult leader was presented before the helm, the AI watching silently as they collapsed in terror. "Cowardly along with being insufferably arrogant. Do you truly believe these qualities to be the makings of a leader?" KARR stated coldly. "Your followers cower instead of coming to your aid, and even now they look at you with loathing instead of admiration. Do you believe it is toward your deity of death, or simply towards your own childish temper?" A rhetorical, if not accusing question.

Soon after the priest made his final action to solidify their suspicions of having to do more than simply negotiate these cultists to their favor. Which actually had been going quite well until this boisterous fool had gotten involved. Taking a vial from the dead priest's belt and drinking down the contents, their body took on a drastic change. Skin melted away and the supposed form of Samne'esh's vassal. Strange didn't they fight a similar looking creature during their takeover of the farm? Regardless, this appeared to be a lighter type of militia man demon, as instead of fire this one decided to toss flies at them.

    Big ones.

Loudly the buzzed and splattered upon his paneling as they tried to eat through his shell, but without much progress, given that the AI was confident that the coating his Technician gave could survive mere insects. As they dissipated, KARR gave a challenging rev of his engine to the newly born lich. Ah and waht was this? It appeared the AI's driver had decidedly found where his own talents could come in handy. "Of course, Judge Fear. It would be a pleasure to dispose of this poor excuse for humanity." He responded, engines growling as he locked onto the monstrosity that once was the cult priest.

There was no need to waste his laser on a creature that would not be effected by the concentrated light, not when his armored shell was more than capable of smashing his adversary into a greasy smudge on the ground. And perhaps on the walls, and the door... Engines screaming and tires spinning eagerly, KARR launched forward in unrelenting, unfeeling wrath as he rammed through the priest as if they were a wall of flimsy rotted wood. It was time to see if this so-called champion still bled.

Chains, they thought to imprison a champion of Samne'esh in chains?!

The newly risen lich gave a low hiss as Judge Fear's mantrap chain wrapped and snapped at his ragged robes and decaying flesh, only managing to tear his clothing and break the underlying skin. It briefly assessed the damage done, turning over its arm as a vile, sickly green fluid oozed from the deep cut like a thick pus. Trifles! His burning gaze glowered back up at the helmeted ghoul as the chain was swung a second time and finally a third. With each the lich swayed and snaked himself out of their way, a skeletal grin bared at his adversary. Though as the chain snapped about for the final time, he reached out with his bony claws and attempted to grab hold before using the Dark Judge's very weapon against him. Let us see what confidence lay within the undead when they were swung about by their own chain and into the barn's very wall again, and again, and again!

Ah but what was this? That vehicle was not there before, and last he remembered they certainly did not speak. Regardless, it sounded quite aware of what was going on, if not optimistic in their circumstance. They wished to dispose of him like common trash? Hah! A gurgling laugh echoed about the barn even as the vehicle's engine howled and tires screamed upon the frozen ground. Staring down the machine it merely stood ready, arms stretched wide and challenging as it bore down upon him until finally...

    Whump!

With a twirl of his dark robes he had been shunted aside by the Trans-Am's brute force, toppling to the ground in a pile of decayed flesh and bones. However, to think it down for the count would be unwise, for with a sickening crackle and pop of his joints and bones, the lich rose to his feet, black mist curling steadily from his mouth. This one would not be so easy to deal with, but regardless of this thing's strength it too would fall. A hollow bellow resounded from his throat as he rushed forward, shoulders down and claws curled. With his unnatural strength he grappeled at the side of the two tones vehicle and tried to flip it upon its roof.

Well, that was certainly lackluster on both their parts.

Not only had both Dark Judge and Automated Robot fail in their abilities to humble this obnoxious lich to the ground as was proper, the wretched thing sought to make complete fools out of them in the process! Judge Fear hadn't been expecting his opponent to actually be harmed with a metal whipping, yet he should have known that the once-mortal creature would be so bold as to beat the undead lawman with his very own weapon. "Nngh...!" An otherworldly grunt escaped the ghoul's helm as Judge Fear was sent completely backward, his body slamming into a nearby barn wall after the third assault. The first two he had proven remarkably agile but such luck was not to last. Meanwhile, K.A.R.R. also had its fair share of troubles.

The vehicle's determination was admirable but the lich thought otherwise. Already it was attempting to tip K.A.R.R. over and thus prevent any source of aid or retaliation. Unacceptable! Angered and refusing to accept defeat at the hands of some lesser undead, the Dark Judge promptly rose up from his beating and immediately went on the offensive. He rushed over toward the lich, undaunted by his towering foe, and threw not one mantrap but three mantraps with starling accuracy. Whether they hit and sink their teeth into the lich's rotten flesh was not the Dark Judge's concern.

He was more attentive about tying the mantraps' chains around the various wooden beams supporting the barn's roof, effectively cementing the lich in place. But not for long.

"Get up," Judge Fear hissed to his partner. The ghoul placed both hands onto K.A.R.R.'s paneling and attempted to keep the automobile from tipping entirely over. Inhuman strength was yet another boon upon returning from the grave. "Get up and continue our fight." Failure was not an option!

Judge Fear seemed to get the short end of the stick regarding their adversary's reaction to his mantrap chain. Once, twice and then thrice he was tossed about, managing to keep from slamming into anything until the third lash of the Lich's arm sent him hurtling into one the barn's wooden walls. However to think that AI was having any better of a chance with the undead priest would be an absolute lie.

Much to the AI's dismay, it appeared that his targeting systems were slightly off in their prediction of where the target may leap to. Much in the way that it did not leap, jump, or even attempt to step out of his path. The side of KARR's bumper managed to knock it aside, toppling to the ground with a sickening, wet crunch of rancid flesh and bone. Had it been disabled, perhaps even partially decapitated from the Trans-Am's impact? A quick scan of the wretched Lich told otherwise, as it soon got back to its feet, bones fractured but unhindered.

A puff from its bony mouth later and it was charging towards him, claws curled and limbs outstretched. With but a glance of his optics into the maddened, burning gaze of the Lich he had a suspicion of what was in store for him. No, he could not, it was a ridiculous if not foolish feat! Yet, the undead charged closer and closer, decayed feet pounding against the frozen ground.

    SCRUNCH!

Bone scratched against the vehicle's armored underside, arms heaving and black mist pouring from the Lich's decrepit mouth. From this distance the AI's microscanners could pick up every pock mark and pit in the creature's skull, the stench of decay strong in his olfactory sensors. With but a grunt the Lich heaved and threatened to topple the AI over. Nearly unaware of the Dark Judge's attempt to aid above the protesting of his frame and the skewing of his optics as they were sent off kilter, KARR's engines revved and screamed as his tires tore at the ground. If they could bite at the barn floor just right... His processors quickly producing a plan, though as for how his odds calculator suffered the possible outcome:

Well, thirty percent was better than none.

    Hah! Such Fools!

The Lich hissed as three mantraps were thrown his way, ducking and dodging their metallic teeth as his own claws raked deeper into the car's underside. This so called undead blessed though to delay him with simple chains and mechanisms? Pathetic! With a triumphant hiss the Lich squared his shoulders and shoved forward, determined to prove his true strength to this pale doppleganger. They thought to push against the might of a true blessed and emerge victorious?

A raspy, confident laugh slithered from the undead priest's throat, black mist clouding the air around his face. But another shove more was all it took, despite the car's valiant effort at an escape. A satisfying crunch echoed about the barn as it was toppled over onto its roof. Now there was only the Dark Judge to deal with, his annoying toy tossed aside like the lump of scrap metal it was. Leaping atop the vehicle's belly, the Lich ignored the futilely spinning of its tires as he stared down the only one who truly mattered in this decrepit structure. His robes were pulled in close over his form, hunched like a crouching predator.

"HIIIIiiisssss!" The Lich's claws crackled and popped with each preparatory clench, burning eyes looking over the caped undead with intent. Yes, all would know of Samne'esh's glory this night! A piercing screech erupted from its bony mouth, flies buzzing about the mist that plumed forth from his throat. Tattered robes snapping in the wake of his abrupt charge, leaving the vantage of his automotive perch as he leaped down upon Judge Fear. Claws whipped down upon his uniform like knives, shredding away what leather of his garb he could before turning his attention to the undead's badge. Such a shimmering display of pride... He would savor removing it from his insulting form.

Of course everything would fail. Of course K.A.R.R. could not right itself. And of course their miserable foe would manage to land two, very successful hits on the Dark Judge's weakened person. If this was karma, then consider the ghoul an avid opponent of Dharma's wheel.

Thrown about as if he were nothing more than a child's plaything, Judge Fear felt his uniform suffer the most; his pride was a very close second. Leather strips were flung in all directions from the lich's frenzied claws and a horrific corpse smell filled the barn - a telltale sign that the Dark Judge's host's body was not much longer for this accursed world. A uniform could easily be replaced and so could a body, but not the unspeakable transgression that was surely just to come. In the struggles and throes against his dogged assailant, Judge Fear felt something personal torn from his chest and a familiar metallic glint caught his eye. No, that was his - !

    "ENOUGH!"
A powerful shockwave of psychic energies burst forth from the enraged ghoul, Judge Fear throwing off the lich with great force. "How DARE you deface a servant of the law!" he loudly shouted, voice alone shaking the very foundations of this barn. "You are to be punished for such disrespectful insolence and I sentence you to death!" If that was not clear already.

No longer wishing to preserve anything other than K.A.R.R. and this body, the Dark Judge reached down at his belt and removed a shrunken head.

"Time for the boom-boom. Show me the boom-boom!" the disembodied head demanded with chattering teeth.
The other heads either groaned or sighed, although one looked distinctly like Rick's...

Judge Fear tossed his little one up into the air once and curled his arm back. Whoosh! Off it goes, directly at the Lich's unsightly head with an excited war cry!

As before, the ghoul didn't bother waiting for end results. Judge Fear was already on the move, his mind racing for alternatives, and in that instant he had found two. With one hand he snatched a handful of the lich's rags while dodging any flailing limbs and fed the cloth directly into one of K.A.R.R.'s spinning wheels like a spool of wool. If this worked, their opponent was going to howl with rage. A pleasing sound after their stroke of misfortune. Judge Fear crouched near the overturned driver's side and bellowed, "Drive!" Give that haughty undead something to really hiss about! The first of his tactics executed, the Dark Judge ran for the priest that had fallen minutes ago and rifled through the man's belongings. Alchemist, alchemist, alchemist... He would have made for a fine alchemist, that's what the lich had said. And if one was a competent alchemist, then one had... Aha! Flasks of questionably mixed fluids!

The Dark Judge may not be a renowned chemist or a Harvard graduate, but he knew his chemicals. Snatching up a few choice pickings and whirling around on the balls of his bare feet, Judge Fear tossed a generous helping of dangerous mixtures with careful aim. He'd never hear the end of it it something had managed to land on K.A.R.R.'s precious paneling.
