With candy given and farewells exchanged, the five Hyruleans were set to continue on their way. Link was happy that their first stop had been as fun as ever, and even more than that, he was thrilled that Tetra seemed to enjoy it as much as she had. As they all made their way back to the main part of the sidewalk, the Hero of Time grinned at Sheik's note to her descendant. The pirate captain sounded as perplexed as she did pleased, and without wasting any time, she was set to continue on their quest for more candy. With a chuckle and nod exchanged with his nametwin, Link followed after Impa and the two arm-linked, disguised princesses. "Ha-ha, yeah!"

Admittedly, based on some of what Link had shared with him about Medli and Komali's bond, it was a little amusing to see Tetra link arms with Sheik in such a way. Link couldn't help but wonder what the Hero of Winds thought about this, but regardless, it was just great to see Tetra already having a great time.

With their own path set from previous experience and plenty of fun along the way, the costumed Hylian kids made short work of the first street. As they began to tackle the adjacent section of the neighborhood, Link soon found himself grinning at Impa's truly Linebeck-like line to Ciela. For one, it was funny to hear Impa speak in such a manner, and two, it made him feel rather proud the be referred to as an expert treasure hunter. Granted, looking for treasure was a skill that all five of them had honed, but it was always nice to hear.

Tael couldn't help but giggle at Impa's line whilst Tatl simply chimed in amusement. She had a very strong feeling that the Terminian fairy was going to be subtly beaming from this night for quite some time to come.

Link and his fairies did not stop waving until the Irvings had closed the door, by then they reached the sidewalk and Link tried not to chuckle at Tetra’s bemusement. It really was as simple as that, and considering the time and effort they had placed into their costumes, Link believed it would be rather unfair for the actual Trick or Treating event to be complex.

“Yes,” agreed Neri with Impa’s explanation. “It really is more about the experience. I know going out in the evening isn’t anything special in general, but it’s a rather different feeling when it’s Halloween and the houses are all decorated to fit the occasion.”

And it seems like Tetra was all up for enjoying this experience. Ciela, Neri and Link shared a look with one another as Medli-Tetra took Komali-Sheik’s arm. Considering who they were costumed as and from what Link (and Tetra) had guessed from their past visits to Dragon Roost, the action was incredibly sweet. The quintet continued along the street, gathering candy as they went. Before very long, the five of them were at the end of the street with enough treats in their bag to have Link recalling the advice Mitchell gave a few days prior.

Before they could reach the next stop, Link regarded his own bag. He was looking forward to the massive treat tonight when they get home, but first, a small treat for the start of their confectionery collecting evening.

“Really, Link? Already?” sighed Ciela as she watched the boy fish a blue-foiled candy from his bag, unwrapped it, then plopped it into his mouth with a satisfied ‘mmmm’. He smiled goofishly, which was soon accompanied by a few notes of laughter when Impa remarked about their treasure hunting skills in such a Linebeck fashion that Link would be inclined to believe the Sheikah really have met the sailor before.

Of course, wherever and whenever a Linebeck sentence was uttered, there was a Ciela response to follow up. “Well, they do have lots of experience in the field. Don’t worry though, Linebeck. They are also very generous and would gladly share their findings with you and your ship.”

Sheik grinned as Tetra looked back to her, expressing her bewilderment over how simple the activity of trick-or-treating was, but far deeper than that, she seemed to already be enjoying this holiday even more than she had as it had approached them. "Mm!" With a firm nod and accented response to both Impa's assessment and Tetra's grand idea for them to continue forward, the disguised princess soon laughed a little as she found her arm caught by the older girl. Linking her arm around her descendant's a bit better, Sheik continued on right to the next house, set to see just what treats they might acquire next.

Tetra catching hold of her arm was nothing new by this point, as the pirate captain had got into the habit even before she had discovered Sheik's secret. She never minded it and in fact often thought it was rather nice, and considering their costumes tonight, she was especially amused by it. Given what she had heard about Medli and Komali from both Link and Tetra, this made it especially sweet, and she was all too happy to do this to add to their portrayals.

Before too long, they had finished the first street of houses and were set to start the next leg of their outing. As they were starting to head towards the next house, Sheik blinked as Ciela questioned Link over something, which was apparently him opting to sample a piece of candy already. Chuckling softly and glancing to the Spirit of Courage, she noted, "It's all right, Ciela. It's just one." If nothing else, making sure to enjoy his treats in moderation this time would help ensure better than ever that he would never have a repeat of last year.

Laughing a little more at Impa's Linebeck-inspired assessment, Sheik exchanged a wink with Tetra once the Spirit of Courage voiced her own take on all this. In her best Komali tone, she stated, "We certainly try… I mean, we do like to find things and share them when we can." At that, the disguised princess' attention was suddenly drawn to a flower from one of the small plots of plants along this street. Having made sure it wasn't a part of anyone's garden, she deftly plucked it up before moving to offer it to Tetra. Nodding to her descendant, she added, "Like so."

Tetra nodded as she listened to Impa’s explanation. That made sense. Whilst the candy collecting played a part in the festivities, what was more important was the experience of the holiday. So far, from all the preparations up to this evening and also the start of the night itself, it had definitely turned into a holiday she was enjoying immensely and could see herself looking forward to it even more in the future. Free stuff and creative costumes - what could there not to be enjoyed in that combination?

After a few moments of holding Zelda’s arm and a convenient obscured reflection from a house’s windows, Tetra looked down at where their arms were linked and grinned as she thought of who they were dressed as tonight. It seems like she wasn’t the only one who noticed this as was amused either, which made it even more better. Tetra may not have known Komali and Medli from before the former could fly, but she had heard Link’s tale about them and how their relationship was with one another. It reminded her of how siblings would act. After that, when Komali gained the ability to fly, Tetra was sure his relationship with the Sage of Earth had become even more endearing and she would not be surprised if it continued to improve over time.

They made their way along the street, gaining more and more treats with each house they visited. Fairly soon, the disguised captain was pleased to feel and hear the rustling of many sweets jostling around in her bag as they reached towards the end of the street. She chuckled as Link snuck a headstart on the candy in his bag and was rather tempted to follow suit when she was distracted by Impa’s Linebeck impression.

“Well, if I’m a pirate, I might not share,” she drawled with a grin. “After all, pirates like their treasure, which comes in all sorts of shape and sizes: gems, rupees, gold and…” Tetra raised an eyebrow at Zelda’s look before blinking at the flower being offered. “And flowers. Thank you, Komali.”

She accepted the flower softly and blinked at it for a few seconds as she figured out what to do with it. Carrying it around would be nice, however, she wasn’t sure the stem could stand that prolonged handling like that. In the end, struck by a brainwave idea, she smiled and handed it back to her costume partner. Tetra tilted her head down and a little to the side. “Put it in my hair?”

Impa was rather happy to hear Neri's open agreement with her assessment of heading out to enjoy Halloween. Most evenings out on their own were not inherently special, but so long as one knew how to enjoy themselves, holiday or otherwise, they could certainly turn a standard outing into something far more meaningful.

As the quintet made their way into the next part of the neighborhood, Link appeared to be set to get a head start on sampling some of his sweet spoils of the night, which in turn resulted in a sigh from Ciela. The Sheikah simply gave the Spirit of Courage a soft nudge with the back of her hand before cocking an eyebrow at her as though to show that it was not something worth worrying about. The action alone worked for Impa herself around the reassurance of Sheik, but to make sure to keep up with her current guise, she made sure to add, "Of course already. Think of it as a small energy boost around our grand adventure, Sparkles."

Keeping right in line with their dual banter tonight, Ciela was set to reply in kind regarding the kids' treasure hunting skills. Her words elicited a slight grin from Impa, and as she referred to her as Linebeck before noting that they might just share, she could not help but chuckle some. "That they do, and I had no doubt about their making sure to distribute the wealth. Pirates or not, it's their nature."

As Tetra turned to muse about the chance of pirates sharing or not, Impa soon found herself smiling further at the exchange between the pirate captain and her disguised ancestor. With a moment that would have made a particular pair of Rito proud – around potentially blushing from seeing the actions and responses – the Sheikah soon folded her arms, inwardly feeling very glad to see yet another way that her charges were enjoying the evening.

Costumes, candy, and decorations were but one part of this fun occasion that they had all come to enjoy, but the memories that they made together on these outings, especially memories like this one and their visit to Kev's cottage last year, were the true spirit of the holiday. They were the moments that made it particularly special, the ones that helped turn what would be an otherwise simple, normal outing into something they could all share and hold dear. Standard trips out were still all well and good, but this… this was what helped them find the extraordinary around their already cherished ordinary. It might not have been quite the same as their own festivals and holidays back in Hyrule, but the spirit was still very similar, and the spirit that they themselves met it with helped ensure that the same soul from their homeland was carried through here as well.

Between the festive nature of Halloween itself and this taste of the Great Sea that the five of them had ensured, it was certainly shaping up to be a night they would all remember fondly.

As the five Hyruleans began the next part of their trek through the neighborhood, Link soon blinked at catching a sudden sigh from Ciela, before he looked to his nametwin to see just what she was questioning him about. It turned out that Link had decided to both lighten his haul by one piece of candy and get an early sample in for the night. Unable to resist chuckling at Impa's latest Linebeck line and Sheik's assurance that it was just fine, the Hero of Time decided to help dissipate Ciela's sigh further, and with a quick reach into his own treat bag, he too had pulled out a newly acquired treat. Deftly removing the green foil from it, he winked to the older boy before moving to enjoy his own piece of candy, soon letting out an "Mmmm!" of his own as the chocolate melted on his tongue.

"Heh, already," chimed Tatl. With an amused chime from Tael as well, she added, "Maybe he's testing out some early pacing."

Grinning further at the next humorous exchange between the Spirit of Courage and Impa's best impression of Linebeck, Link soon laughed a little more at Tetra's quip. "Aye aye, we only share with our crew!" And the occasional special exception.

As the pirate captain mused about treasure, Link nodded in agreement with Sheik's words before blinking as she swiftly picked a flower, just before offering it to Tetra. He blinked a couple more times in surprise before grinning even further, unable to think about just how much that fit Komali and Medli. It was as though it was an even more fitting exchange than the Rito prince's own intended gesture that had in turn led to his flower wilting before he could give it to the newly awakened Earth Sage. Link had not been on Dragon Roost Island to see that himself of course, but around tales of the Hero of Winds' own adventures and return trips to the isle, it had almost felt as though he had been there himself. Komali and Medli had at least been able to meet again after Link had finished his quest, but it had to have been hard for the Rito prince to wait for his friend without knowing when he might see her again. In a way, it kind of reminded him of what he'd later thought about Zelda waiting for him back in Hyrule… although several days was thankfully a far cry from seven years.

Sometimes quests involved waiting for someone close to you, but when they were truly special, no matter what the circumstances, they understood. They would still be there waiting for you, and the ensuing reunion – no matter how unexpected its circumstances might be – would be a welcome return for both parties. Link knew his own with Zelda and Impa had been both in Hyrule's future as well as on the Breach, and he had since learned that the same was true for each of his friends' companions on the Great Sea.

His grin shifted into a soft laugh as Tetra asked for Sheik to place the flower in her hair, and with a happy look exchanged with Link, Link could not help but feel even happier for the surprise costumes that the two princesses had met them with.

The younger Link’s early treat earned a nod of approval from the older boy who then raised his left hand up, the back of it was facing the other boy. Neri giggled and a pretend-sigh came from Ciela followed by a soft nudge back into Impa’s hand. “I’m not worrying, I just can’t believe he had already given into temptation. Well, I suppose a gradual intake of the candy is much better than eating it all at once.”

“We’re going to get so much of it anyway, so it’s not like we’re not going to have any for later. I can’t remember how much you all came back home with last year, but it’s definitely more than enough to share around. Even with treasure loving captains,” said Neri with the last bit directed to their current Linebeck and also to the real pirate in disguise. To backup her words, Neri dove into Link’s treat bag and emerged with a piece of foil wrapped chocolate which she offered to Impa. “A treasure for you to treasure for now.”

And just when Link and his fairies were grinning at how sweet Tetra and Sheik’s interactions were, the pair was set to make it even more smiles-inducing. He cannot help but wonder what the two Rito would do if they had been here to witness the princesses’ portrayal of them. Given how much Tetra and Link knew of the two and also how much of that they had relayed to their friends from the past here, they believed the portrayal was spot-on. Medli would indeed do and ask something like that out of Komali, though it may seem perfectly normal for the two of them in person, they might become a bit shy when seeing it instead of acting it out.

Really, there was nothing to be shy about. It wasn’t anything to be shy about. Link could put flowers in Aryll’s hair perfectly fine. And not just Aryll, any girl’s hair! See nothing to be shy about. Even Tetra’s hair if she so wished; however, it might suit her princess dress than it did her usual attire, at least that was what Link thought.

"I know you're not," mused Sheik to Ciela, grinning as the Spirit of Courage nudged into the back of Impa's hand. "Considering how excited we've all been for tonight though, this just helps it along even further." Granted, she wasn't sure if she was going to partake of any of hers just yet or not, but the idea was certainly there.

Laughing softly at Impa's Linebeck-inspired remark and Neri's subsequent reasoning about sampling some of their candy now, Sheik smiled broadly to Impa. Once the Spirit of Wisdom had fished out a piece of candy for the Sheikah, the disguised princess in turn exchanged a knowing glance with Tetra, just before winking to her. Her descendant might have been a treasure loving captain, but all the same, the older girl was still far more giving that she would ever openly admit. The two ever-present qualities were just part of what made her even more special, and not for the first time, Sheik was incredibly glad to have got to meet her.

The Komail-disguised Sheik nodded at Tetra's thanks for the flower, her expression softening slightly as the older girl took it and studied it for a few moments. As she smiled and handed the flower back to her though, the disguised princess raised her eyebrows, just before grinning at her descendant's request. "Of course!"

At that, Sheik momentarily handed her Din's Pearl prop and treat bag to Impa's outstretched hand and nodded to thank her, just before she moved to carefully place the flower a little above Tetra's right ear. Deftly threading the length of the stem underneath her hair and get it properly situated, she gave it a gentle yet experimental tug to make sure that it was secure. Satisfied with her handiwork, Sheik stepped back and smiled to Tetra, noting, "There you go. I hope that works well for you."

Tetra chuckled at the younger Link’s add on to her own words. Only with their crew indeed, and tonight the Tetra Pirates crew had extended to include two Ritos and another treasure-loving captain in their mix too so sharing all around - as Neri soon did. Tetra smiled softly at the sight of the fairy offering the costumed Sheikah the piece of candy.

Now that made her really want to dive into her own bag early! She refrained. Candy, she had a bit more patience for. However, if the house-owners were giving out meat or savoury items like pretzels, that would be a different story. She would in her treat bag so fast and so often, her bag would already be empty by this time of the night and she would be incredibly thirsty from all the eating too. Tetra’s mouth watered just by thinking of swapping the amount of candy she had, into savoury items.

She stayed very still as her ancestor moved to slide the flower into place amongst her hair a little above her right ear. A smirk formed on her features at the thought of how Medli and Komali would react if they had witnessed this portrayal of them. Their relationship was so subtle yet obvious at the same time, it was pretty cute actually and also one of the first things Tetra had picked up about them when she finally had the time to know them better after Link’s quest.

Once the flower was secured, Tetra straightened up and her hand reached up to touch her new hair accessory. “Perfect, it’s almost like you are very used to doing this, Komali.” She wondered if the real Komali had ever done something like this to Medli. If not after he got his wings, then when they were younger and as kids playing around?

The disguised princess turned to the two pirates and the other ship captain. “Shall we head to the next street then?”

Unable to resist an amused chuckle as the younger Link joined the Hero of Winds in an early treat, Impa soon grinned broadly at his exclamation. Whether they were sticking to their costumes for the night or simply being themselves, they certainly had the finest crew that anyone could ask for… a crew that was truly a family. "And a mighty fine crew it is!"

With a nod to Ciela at her gentle nudge, Impa noted, "I would say it is. I have a feeling that everyone's spoils will be enjoyed over the next month or so." Link had already made a point of letting them know that his escapade last year was not about to be a repeat performance, and the Sheikah was rather proud of him for not only sticking to his plan for this year, but also for learning from his treat binging. She had admittedly tried to dissuade him from starting his gorging last year, but as everything panned out, that happened to be a case where experience was the best teacher. She did wish he had listened to her, but even at the time, he did at least know it was his own doing. Thankfully, the effects had not lasted too long, and he was still happy to enjoy candy in proper moderation.

As Neri noted how much they were going to get, Impa's smile deepened a touch at both the mention of treasure loving captains. A knowing glance exchanged with Tetra later, and Impa found herself being offered a foil wrapped candy from the Spirit of Wisdom. With a firm nod to the blue fairy, Impa stated, "Thank you Neri… I most certainly will treasure it."

Although the Sheikah likely wouldn't divulge in that piece of candy until a little later on, she certainly appreciated the gesture, and of course gave Link a grateful nod for his inadvertent sharing here. Sharing the candy was commonplace for each of her charges and Impa did frequently find herself being offered some candy after any bout of Trick or Treating, but no matter how many times she was offered some, it always warmed her heart.

Once Sheik had got the flower set for Tetra, Impa smiled at the display, for although she'd not ever met Komali and Medli, given everything that she'd heard about them, this portrayal certainly seems to be very accurate. Aside from that, it was definitely another sweet exchange between the two princesses, and she was more glad than ever that the two had only become closer since Sheik's secret had been revealed. They had already become remarkably close in the time leading up to that, and just like the bonds that the two Links shared and the ones that each princess shared with each hero, it was truly something special.

As far as tackling the next street was concerned, Impa simply gave Tetra a strong nod before gesturing for her charges to lead the way. "Let's shall."

Post by Link64 on Mon Oct 27, 2014 8:05 pm

As Link and Link enjoyed their first candies of the night, the Hero of Time found himself feeling even more amused at the exchange between Sheik and Tetra. At the basest level, he was honestly a little reminded of some of the times he and Saria played growing up, and even more of seeing some of the Kokiri sisters give each other flowers for their hair on occasion… that was something his nametwin had shared with him with Aryll. Far more than that though, he was certainly thinking about the subtle hints of something more between Komali and Medli, and of just how accurate this display likely was.

"I'm pretty sure he is," mused Tatl at Tetra's remark, giving the pirate captain a nod of approval for how the flower looked for her. Those two were having way too much fun, just like the rest of them, and the Terminian fairy was definitely glad to see it. This year had had plenty of crazy events, but it was good to see that Halloween was still relatively normal for them.

At Tetra's question, Link outright grinned. They'd already reached the corner of it, but he was most assuredly set to visit its houses and seek out the candy and treats they might have to offer. Nodding vigorously before Impa waved for them to carry on, Link exclaimed, "Aye aye! Let's go loot the treasure!"

With that, the five Hyruleans continued on their Halloween quest, stopping by each house that was lit and enjoying all of the decor along the way. Before too long, they had finished up this street as well before taking on the next few in this part of the residential area. They stopped by 4224 Monitor Lane to visit Lawrence, Zurg, and Jo as always, and with that nice visit, they were further energized for the next leg of the evening. It was great as ever to see the three of them, just as it was Tally once they made it to the apartment complex. A couple streets later effectively marked the tail end of this suburban area, and as their treat bags were already starting to stretch into their Hyrulean Storage Space, it seemed that this night was a grand success in yet another way.

"All right, I think that pretty much takes care of the whole neighborhood!" Tael fluttered about excitedly, having had a veritable blast so far and happy to see just how much fun everyone was having as well. Glancing back to everyone, he asked, "What's the plan now? Are we going to head back to the inn or make any other stops first?"

Link had definitely had a great time out this evening, but as the five of them gathered round and thought about just where they were headed next, he found himself feeling not only more than satisfied with their holiday outing, but also set to return home. Exchaning a quick glance and nod with Tatl, Link looked to his friends and noted, "I'm fine either way, but heading back to enjoy the rest of the night at home sounds nice right now."

"Mm," hummed Link in response to Impa's words about them spreading the candy out to last over a month.

He also nodded sagely, in that knowing way that could achieved when the person doing the nodding had obviously NOT made candy last as longer than one night, who now do not regret it at all (rather he thought back to the time quite fondly) and notched it in their list of silly and unwise achievements with a certain amount of pride. The very same pride had also kept him from asking for any help from his magically talented friends when his stomach rebelled that very same night as well. It was one of those times when you went through something decidedly ridiculous and you are determined to soldier on through the consequences. Thankfully, his pride DID allow potions and those were whipped up pretty quickly after about two hours of Link insisting he was fine when he was growing increasingly not.

As Impa took the candy from her, Neri puffed and pulsed a pleased glow before retreating back to the Hero of Winds’ side. Together, they watched one disguised princess tuck a flower into the second disguised princess’ hair, and Link was hit by another wave of nostalgia for his home world.

He then gave a hearty cry of agreement to the younger Link’s words. Loot all the treasure indeed! Enough to last the month! No going back to the inn until their treats stretches well into their storage capabilities.

Their costumed family made steady work of the residential district, making their way from one street to another as they visited their friends to very politely relieve them of their candy supply; Leaf had even calmed down from his excitement enough to climb out of the Din’s Pearl and allowed other fairies to have a go of being carried around in it.

Link rustled his bag by the end of their treat collecting, and then gave a happy chuckle at how heavy it was. They were going to have a feast!

“I don’t know about you, but I rather like the idea of getting some warmth on my wings,” Ciela said. She flapped her wings a few times. “It’s not very cold out, but it’ll still be a nice feeling to have something warm. No Leaf, not by magic.” At which the red fairy just answered with 'Awwww. Boo.'

“Aa,” agreed Link then wrote, “Soup! Or hot chocolate!”

Although Sheik certainly possessed a sweet tooth of her own, it was just slightly less present than that of the Link from her time, and certainly not as prevalent as that of the Hero of Winds. She did enjoy plenty of sweet things, but much like her descendant, she had quite a love for meat and other savory items. It might not have been quite as strong as Tetra's, but it was most definitely there. Even around the delicious candy that they were set to enjoy after their adventure tonight, Sheik was already looking forward to what they might enjoy back at the inn around their newly acquired treats.

Sheik did not fail to catch Tetra's slight smirk as she herself placed the flower above her right ear, and she herself soon grinned at the older girl's compliment. Making sure to keep up the character of the Rito Prince as best she could, Sheik stated, "Ah, well… I try. I'm just glad you like it." With that taken care of, it was time to continue on to the next street in the neighborhood, and the disguised princess couldn't help but broaden her smile as she moved to loop her arm around Tetra's arm once more. Now that they were even more set, they were off to procure more candy.

Some time and lots of fun later, the Hyrulean family had managed to wrap up their planned trick-or-treating, having effectively covered the entire neighborhood. If their current position was not enough of an indicator of their success, then their rather heavy treat bags certainly were. As ever, the Hylian kids had managed to receive a nice collection of candy, and Sheik rather looked forward to starting to enjoy it. For now though, the question of just where they were headed next had been presented, and although the disguised princess was rather happy to make any other stops on their way back, she was quite ready to return home.

Ciela's voiced suggestion of getting some extra warmth was definitely a nice one, and as soon as Link voiced his own agreement, following it up with two written suggestions, Sheik knew just what her vote was. With a broad grin and glance exchanged between her three friends, she looked up to Impa, stating, "I think I'm ready to head back to the inn now. Hot soup and maybe some hot tea sounds perfect for tonight."

Well, well, it was Komali’s turn to loop Medli’s arm. On a normal day and out of these costumes, Tetra would have thought nothing of the action of Sheik moving to loop her arm with hers, but again, considering the people they were dressed as today, Tetra could not stop a fond smile from crossing her features. If only this had happened to the real pair of Ritos… sadly, it might be unlikely for her to ever see it happen considering their permanent residence in Portal Breach now. Or who knows? They might end up appearing here one day, much like they all did.

The Hyruleans continued through the neighbourhood, gathering candy at all the houses available and met some friends along the way (some Tetra had met, some not really, or if they did, she wasn’t familiar with them yet). By the time they were done, the captain had grown fairly uninterested in the act of trick or treating. Her bag had enough candy to last a VERY long while by her standards and the freshness of the event had started to wear off. Instead, she became more interested in the decorations and the costumes of other people. Thankfully, before she grew tired of that too, they reached the end of their outdoor trip.

“Yes,” Tetra agreed heartily to the prospect of soup. She had snuck through enough candy so far that she was rather dying for something that was not sweet right now. She slung her harp onto her back and looped her one arm through Sheik’s and her other through the younger Link’s. “It’s been a lot of fun, but home do sound very nice right now. I think I’ll heat up some of the leftover Lon Lon Beef and make myself a warm sandwich to go with the tea or soup. What about you guys?”

Before the Hyrulean family knew it, they had made good work of the entire length of the neighborhood having the chance to acquire more candy, visit some good friends, see more festive decorations, and generally enjoy a wonderful night out. Impa had enjoyed this year's adventure just as much if not more than the previous ones, and she was especially glad to see how much fun her charges had had. Overall, it appeared that Tetra's first Halloween had been a grand time, and the Sheikah could not help but smile a bit to herself as they all came to a stop near the next corner.

At Tael's excited exclamation and questions, Impa glanced to her charges to see what their thoughts were for what to do next. She was completely flexible either way, but regardless of their now heavily laden treat bags, she had a strong feeling that the four kids would be leaning towards the idea of returning home for the night… that much was confirmed once the younger Link spoke up. At Ciela's voiced sentiment regarding getting back to the inn for some pleasant warmth, Link was quick to add the excellent suggestions of having some hot soup and hot chocolate once they returned. Sheik was the next to agree as well as mention the added possibility of some hot tea, and as Tetra added her own idea and confirmed that she too was ready to return, Impa gave the quartet a slow, steady nod.

It had been a fantastic time as ever, and just as she was happy to hear that her charges were set to return to the inn, something else here caused her smile to grow the slightest bit… that was the fact that Tetra had referred to the inn as home completely unprompted and without any notes of hesitation in her voice. The pirate captain had been here for a couple of months already, but even so and even with her ever growing adjustment to this world, Impa knew that for her the same as for each of them, it still took time to get used to everything. Accepting the inn as a second home here regardless as to where and when their original homes were was a big step, and that went far deeper than simply referring to it as home. Regardless of the cozy building that they resided and worked in, they had a home because they were all together, and although Impa was not about to remark on Tetra's phrasing, she was still proud of and happy for the older princess.

Folding her arms, Impa stated, "Those are all fine ideas. Hot soup, sandwiches, and drinks sound like just the thing to hit the spot right now, and I think we've all deserved a nice, relaxing rest of the night." Pausing as she nodded once more, Impa added, "I'll make some soup as soon as we get home, and it should be just about ready by the time we all change out of our costumes. Then, we can enjoy it, our sandwiches, and drinks by the fire. How does that sound?"

With the positive responses from her four charges, Impa simply chuckled before grinning and waving for them to follow after her. "Excellent… let's set sail for home." At that, the crew turned and continued on their way back towards the Stock Pot Inn. It had already been a great Halloween so far, and if possible, Impa was looking even more forward to the rest of the evening. Be it out in the city or back in their cozy den, the most important thing was that they all got to spend it together.
