    I cannot make your character too powerful, as I will then have to allow everyone that same right. As it stands, that will not be allowed. I suggest you come up with something plausible that fits both the battle system and your character.

    That's the idea. Could additional AP be spent to increase his fire attack the way it is now?

    Level 20–39:
    2 die, 2 coinflip = 2 AP (default) (or 3AP?)
    4 dice, 2 coinflips = 4 AP      
    6 dice, 3 coinflips = 6 AP

    I just took these stats from the Damage Enhancer Examples, substituting the first attack level for the default

    Some users do have powers they can pay extra AP into for added bonuses, but not too many bonuses is the key issue. For a Level 1 Power, they may add an extra coin/die but that has so far been their extent. And that is also an extent I am both comfortable and willing to allow, as it is reasonable for a Level 1 Power. As I said before, I have to be hesitant in considering exceptions as that will allow every single user on Portal Breach the same opportunity.

    Given that users have six other powers that vary in both strength and type, having a Level 1 Power on par with a Level 10 is not necessary.

    I"m afraid I don't understand. Is the above suggestion acceptable or not? The statistics for it were taken from the example here for Level#1 damage enhancers: http://www.portalbreach.net/t5301-battle-system-making-powers

    Or did I misread that page?

    If you are adding more than one coin or die along with special bonus effects, then I will not allow it - even with an enhanced AP cost.

    I'm not adding special bonus effects. Doing away with that, no burn, no armour bypass. I suggested keeping the power the way it was. 2d/2c for 2AP, (or 3AP if that's more fair).

    To quote the aforementioned page-
    "-A Level One (1) damage enhancer would have a cost of 2 AP per use"

    So this just this with no added effects, no burn or armour bypass:

    2 dice, 2 coinflip = 2 AP (Base)
    4 dice, 2 coinflips = 4 AP
    6 dice, 3 coinflips = 6 AP

    This poses an interesting question: why do you need an extra coin/die compared to the average 2:1 ratio?

    To continue the previously established trend of accuracy.
    If only one coin hits the attack succeeds

    2 dice, 2 coinflip = 2 AP (Base)
    4 dice, 2 coinflips = 4 AP
    6 dice, 3 coinflips = 6 AP Perhaps here 2 out of three must hit, if only 1 hits the damage is halved?

    Or

    2 dice, 2 coinflip = 3 AP (Base)
    4 dice, 2 coinflips = 5 AP
    6 dice, 3 coinflips = 7 AP

    Or whatever other AP expenditure you think is warranted

    Actually, those accuracy enhances are written incorrectly. That particular scale in question is from the older Battle System. Please standby while I correct those and present to you the correct scale.

    The correct accuracy enhancer scales are thus below:

    Level 20–39:

    3 dice, 6 coinflips = 6 AP

    Hrmm, and I suppose we couldn't switch it out so the first stage matches how his Power functions as it is now? 2d,2c, 2AP, then the rest as it is.

    Level 20–39:

    2/1 dice, 2 coinflips = 2 AP
    2 dice, 4 coinflips = 4 AP
    3 dice, 6 coinflips = 6 AP

    And I'm guessing this works with a 1 die to two coin ratio. One coin hits, attack succeeds.

    I'm wondering if this would be okay, switching out the added coins with added die-
    same thing, albeit keeping his default intact, just boosting the die instead of the accuracy and restricting the coin flips to two. I'd be willing to pay for extra AP in order to keep the default as it is.

    Level 20–39:

    2 dice, 2 coinflips = 2/3 AP
    4 dice, 2 coinflips = 4/5 AP
    6 dice, 2 coinflips = 6/7 AP

    By the way, I appreciate your patience in helping me deal with this for so long. Didn't mean to drag things out forever.
