    The Heart-Pounding Splash-Dodging Tour

The trek back through the forest had been relatively uneventful… Sheik, Link, Link, and Impa had all managed to avoid any random splashes or other similar encounters with water, so by the time they had returned to the city and made their way into the suburbs, they were still themselves.

Things had proven just a little trickier once they had made their way closer towards the inn though, as even though it was not raining outside, the four Hyruleans had started to realize just how much water they typically passed by on any given day. All four of them were always keenly aware of their surroundings to varying degrees, but it seemed that their awareness of different sources of water had piqued given the way that they were trying to stay extra careful of it. They had even had to dodge a couple of rogue splashes already, and it was not long before Impa had deduced that their curses came with a secondary effect.

It almost seemed that water was more attracted to them now.

The attraction was not quite to a magnetic level thankfully, but on a very slight level, it appeared that the probability of them encountering it had increased to a rather noticeable degree. If that was the case… then they were going to have to be especially careful until they could reverse their curses.

At the very least, Sheik had it somewhat lucky for that regard… even if she was to be splashed, she did remain the same species, and save a couple of individuals outside of their own family, no one would be able to tell just what had happened to her. A part of her wished that others might be able to tell that she too was cursed so that she would not have to conceal this from them, but she supposed that this had wound up as something of a double-edged sword… and it would be advantageous to have one of them seemingly curse free for anyone that happened to learn about what had transpired.

Changing into a boy was a little strange, at least since she was still getting used to the curse, but she knew that it could have certainly been a lot worse. That was not to say that the curses of her guardian or best friends were bad of course, but her own curse was… interesting. In some ways, it was the least awkward since she did get to remain a Hylian, yet in others… it was the most awkward. Unfamiliar, but certainly not uncomfortable.

Even so, she was determined to try and stay curse free for as long as possible even after they arrived at the inn.

As the quartet neared the third block out from the Stock Pot Inn, Sheik turned to her friends, smiling slightly before saying, "We're almost there… I think I'm looking even more forward to returning home now than I was earlier."

The return trip to the city had thankfully been one without incident, and in short order, the four Hyruleans and three fairies had found themselves just a few blocks away from the Stock Pot Inn. As much as Impa had enjoyed their afternoon out together, curses or not, she was immensely glad to be back home and was very much looking forward to their evening at the inn.

Along the way home though, the Sheikah had noticed something rather interesting… not only was she now even more aware of the presence of water around them than she already had been before their unfortunate incident not even two hours ago, she was also increasingly certain that their curses had a secondary, much more benign effect as well.

Water was now effectively attracted to them.

It was not specifically drawn to them, but it might as well have been… Impa herself had had to perform a few quick dodges once they had returned to the city proper, and as they found themselves in the homestretch, she had a strong feeling that they were going to have to stay especially careful.

Returning Sheik's smile and nodding to the disguised princess, Impa noted, "That we are… and I agree with you. We will still have to explain everything to Neri, but I do think that a nice, quiet night in is just what we all need."

The four moved to cross the street without incident, but as they continued on down the sidewalk that led the way back to the inn, Impa suddenly stopped, jolting slightly as she instantly looked skyward. Her red eyes widened as she realized that someone had accidentally knocked over a rather large watering pail, and as the object began to fall down towards them, it began it pour out its contents from the top… and it was still quite full of water.

"Watch out!" Impa called, quickly moving to try and either help her charges dodge the splash or at the very least take the brunt of it for them. She was the largest of the four of them after all, and she could even better take the hit for them whether she was herself or a bear.

That thought he made in the forest about how it might be easier said than done in regards of not getting splashed by cold water. Yes, take away the ‘might’ please. For a quartet of one adult and three kids who had absolutely no qualms about getting soaked on a normal day, they wouldn’t have thought there would come a day when they would suddenly actually MIND getting wet and that’s a VERY mind. They were suddenly very aware of any possible forms of liquid that might fly their way and had to make extra effort to dodge them as they come. It was trickier than they first thought as it felt as if all their luck in regards of water hazards had effectively ran out and the splashes were attracted to them. How? Link didn’t know but he was pretty sure none were intentional and that as long as they were cursed, their dodge training will be put to the test.

Somehow, they all managed to navigate most of the way back home without being turned into pig, rabbit, bear and boy. Link’s guard went up a bit more as they traversed the familiar streets. It would be frustrating to be transformed now when they were literally minutes from home.

“Aa,” agreed Link, well ready for night on uneventful relaxing. They say that though but Link was sure they would spend part of the evening in controlled testing of their curses. As much as he wanted a quiet evening, he would be lying if he said he wasn’t a bit looking forward to finding out more about their curses. Whether Ciela and Neri would be up for this was another matter...

The Spirit of Courage had been slowly losing patience, glaring around and almost daring any more water to brave her fairy fury. She was NOT having a good day. The stress was piling up on her with each step they took and even all of the Hyrulean’s patting comfort couldn’t lessen the load she was piling onto her own wings.

At the mention of Neri, Ciela’s wings stiffened and she halted her glaring to switch to a worried gaze to the floor. This proved the wrong move for the fairy and she would kicked herself for it later as the moment her attention shifted, Impa looked skyward.

Link jolted at Impa’s warning, he turned to the other two kids and had started to move to push them out of the water’s trajectory. Except, his own head was pushed down and suddenly, he was surrounded by black and white fur, his downturned face was looking straight at a soaking wet pink rabbit by his and Sheik’s feet. It seems like, faster than himself, Impa had moved to shield them all from the splash.

    “Impa!” Ciela cried.

“BEAR!” Leaf joined in which earned him a smack by Ciela’s wing.

“Are you all right?” the yellow fairy immediately asked.

Once Impa had moved away and Link was out of her shielding, the innkeeper lifted his head and realised that out of their quartet, he was the only one who had came through the splashing as himself as even though the Sheikah had moved to cover them all and took the brunt of the water spill, Sheik and Link proved that one inch too tall and got their heads splashed. For once, his height was a good thing…

“Aa,” said the boy apologetically as he reached and touched Sheik’s bangs. Yep, definitely wet. Then he was a… boy?

The return trip to the city from the forest had thankfully been pretty uneventful, and even though the four Hyruleans now found themselves incredibly aware of just about any source of water that they had the potential to come into contact with, they had at the very least made this trip without changing into their cursed forms. For a couple of early dodges, Link was pretty sure that water was close enough to being attracted to them… he didn't know how that happened, but it certainly seemed to be the case.

"Yeah," said Link, nodding in agreement on the idea of having a relaxed evening at home. He had a very strong feeling that around their quiet night in, there would be a lot of testing of their curses… after all, that was a controlled environment, and it could help them better figure out some more of the specifics behind them. Hopefully, whenever they got to that, they could better figure out just how instantaneous the curses were, just what temperature marked the difference between hot and cold water, and other similar factors. He was certainly up for it provided his friends were.

Link returned Sheik's smile as she pointed out the inn, but that smile quickly changed into a surprised expression once Impa called for them to watch out. Glancing up as Tatl chimed in alarm, the Hero of Time saw the watering can that had given her reason to exclaim, and as she dashed in front of them to take the brunt of the splash, Link tried to duck as best he could to avoid the water since he couldn't jump backwards in time.

Impa's quick thinking and brave action had saved the three of them from most of the splash, but he and Sheik wound up catching just enough water on their heads to trigger their transformations… or at least he thought the disguised princess did too based on her exclamation. He definitely appreciated the Sheikah's thought, and although he didn't exactly mind being a rabbit at the moment… he was less than enthused about it since they were so close to home. At least he was drying off quickly…

"Great… I knew our luck would run out," Tatl grumbled. She had half a mind to take the watering can back up to whoever had dropped it and throw it at them for being so careless. As it was though, she just wanted to get back to the inn.

Glancing up from his now much lower position, Link caught his older nametwin's gaze, his own eyes widening as he realized just how much shorter he was now. He had seen it earlier with Sheik, but it was still going to take a little while to get used to. As Link checked on Sheik, Link himself looked to the disguised prince and Impa, waiting a few moments before saying, "Maybe we can find some hot water to use before we actually make it back to the inn."

Whilst Sheik herself was more than set to enjoy a relaxing evening in, her own thoughts effectively mirrored those of her friends… controlled testing of the curses was definitely something that she had in mind for their agenda tonight, right after hot showers, explaining this all to Neri, and getting settled, of course.

The disguised princess perked up the instant that Impa called for them to watch out, and her red eyes widened slightly as she saw just what had elicited that exclamation. Oh Nayru, they were nearly home! Springing into action, Sheik was set to jump backwards to avoid it, but even with her guardian's quick thinking and taking most of the splash, her height proved to be just enough that the water's changed path wound up catching her as well.

"Nngh!" Sheik felt the transformation take place instantly, and he was more stunned from the sudden splash of cold water than he was from the way that his body had changed. It appeared that although Impa had been able to block most of it for them as further indicated by her bear form, Sheik and Link had both been caught on the edges of the splash… the older Link had thankfully been spared, and the disguised prince cocked a sheepish eyebrow at him as he reached out to touch his bangs.

Sheik could already see the question in his friend's eyes, and as the older boy seemed to confirm for himself that he had changed, he stated, "Yeah… I got hit too, Link. I'm glad you didn't, though."

Regardless of the fact that he had transformed, Sheik was mostly annoyed because they had done so well to avoid accidental splashes on their return trip only to be splashed when the Stock Pot Inn was already in sight. He supposed it couldn't be helped, but now he really hopped that Link's voiced suggestion could come true for them. Nodding to the boy-turned-rabbit, Sheik glanced about, noting, "Maybe… or at the very least some water that we can heat up."

Impa braced herself for the splash to hit her, realizing at the last moment that the water had spread out even more from its initial trajectory… she might not be able to catch all of it for the four of them, but she could certainly try.

The splash came, and sure enough, she was instantly transformed back into her bear form. She let out a soft growl as she sensed that Sheik and the younger Link had also caught just enough of the water to be changed themselves. It was unfortunate, but at the very least they had not been soaked (quickness to dry was a trait they all shared, but that did not mean that they had to be drenched if they could help it), and even better, the older Link had been able to avoid being splashed entirely. Something was better than nothing she supposed… although a part of her still wished that their luck in not changing had remained at least until they could get back to the inn.

At Ciela's question, Impa simply nodded to her with a low growl. Glancing to the Spirit of Courage, the Sheikah-turned-bear hoped to reassure her further as she straightened her posture from where she had tried to shield her charges. It was a little disconcerting to have transformed already, but at the very least it was sudden, and more than that, temporary.

Turning back to her three charges, Impa checked over each of them before she too began to look about to see if there were any possible sources of water they could use to heat up and change back. There did not seem to be any, but considering the fact that they might very well be splashed again before they could traverse the final two blocks to the inn, it might be in their best interest to continue on and only try to change back once they were just outside of the front door.

Narrowing her red gaze slightly, Impa grunted to her charges, right before motioning with her head that they had best carry on. They could contend with this for a few minutes longer and then find some hot water to use even before they set foot back inside of the inn. Whether it proved to be that simple or not was another matter entirely, but it was certainly worth a try.

If Tatl had half a mind to take the watering can up and throw it at the one who had carelessly dropped it then Ciela had a FULL mind of picking up the can and throwing it. It was only in a small role reversal of Leaf grabbing the spirit's wing that stopped Ciela from grabbing the can. Though Leaf's grab was far from being that well-intended, in fact it was more of an excited fanboy grab of disbelief. Apparently Leaf had forgotten how tall Impa was as a black and white bear and in seeing the height difference again, the fairy was back into gobsmacked fanboy mode where he must hold onto something as if to check that this was really real.

Intended or not, the tug on her wing was enough to snap the feisty spirit back into the situation and Ciela schooled her emotions back in check, turning to Link, Link, Sheik and Impa. "There's a small corner shop a little way forward. We can buy a bottle of water, warm it up and splash it on you? Or do any of you have any bottles of water remaining?"

At this, the tips of the older Link's ears drooped and he patted his pockets, drawing out a single bottle of water. He had filled it just before they left Zinnia's hot spring with the idea of bringing it back either as an emergency bottle of water or that it might be used to water Zinnia to remind her of her home in the forest. He hadn't thought they'd have to use it so soon nor had he expected that not just one of them was going to change but three at once. He knew he should had filled more than one bottle. Link looked at the bottle then at each of his friends, lifted the bottle and shook it lightly, smiling as he tried to make the situation lighter. Just the one, sorry.

Instantly, Leaf latched onto the cork and eagerly looked from one person to another. Once a decision was made, the fairy was prepared to warm up the water with his magic. It wasn't quite the same BLAZING effect he would had like but he wasn't going to miss out on a chance to use his fire magic.

"Or if you could bear with it - no pun intended, Impa - we could wait until you're back at the inn.... though Neri might see you."

But since Neri had no idea that the bear and rabbit were Impa and Link nor would she even think that Sheik was in fact a boy, it might be okay. It brought to question, which was easier? Tell the Spirit of Wisdom that a bear was Impa or Impa could turn into a bear?

Tatl was already looking about for hot water or even just SOURCES of water that they could heat up and use to change Link, Sheik, and Impa back to themselves. Regardless of the control over Din's Fire that the disguised prince and his guardian held, the Terminian fairy was glad that a certain dingbat was even more set to quickly heat up water for them… that was certainly going to make the duration of these curses more bearable.

Now if only they could find something for him to use his powers on. As Tatl tried to spot anything, Link glanced up to Ciela at her suggestion, pondering it over for a few moments. "That might work, but… what if we got the bottle and the change only lasted for so long?" Before the rabbit could note that he didn't have any spare bottles of water on him right now (he had kept his fourth one empty just in case if they needed to catch any already hot water on the way home), he turned to his older nametwin once he pulled out his single bottle of water.

Returning his friend's smile, Link began to think over who might be able to make the best use of it… but before he could make any suggestions on that front, his own fairy companion bopped the Hero of Winds on the head. "Ha?" Did Tatl have an idea of her own?

"Save your bottle, Link… I'll be right back." At that, a suddenly bright red Tatl darted to pick up the watering can that had caused all of this, right before she bolted up for the balcony it had first fallen from. The unlucky gardener up there soon found himself at the mercy of the Terminian fairy, outright starting once she fumed, "Hey, clumsy, you dropped this. But since you were so nice to give us a full can of water, I'm just going to take another full can. I'll bring it back ONLY once I'm done with it. Got it?"

Tatl barely had time to catch the man's hasty and confused nod before she moved to fill up the watering can from the nearby spigot, right before she flew back down to the others. Holding the can upright and offering it to the Spirit of Power, the now once more pale yellow fairy stated, "Here you go, Leaf. Let's fix this so we can go home."

"Ah… thanks, Tatl…" said Link, inwardly hoping that she had not been TOO harsh to the person that had accidentally dropped their watering can. He really appreciated her efforts, but given the way she had changed colors… he had a feeling that she had been especially sharp when she went to get more water.

Unfortunately, save the few drops of water that remained from the initial splash, there were no good sources of water to be found in the immediate vicinity. Sheik did glance forward at Tatl's suggestion though, the tips of his ears perking up a bit as he pondered the possibility. A bottle of water was relatively inexpensive of course, but at the same time, was it really feasible to go buy one when they weren't sure how long its effect might even last? They were very close to home, but buying something only for it to last a short while such as water or life energy had the potential to be a little frustrating. And given the stress that each of them had already dealt with today, Ciela especially, it was probably best that they find something a little more efficient.

"Maybe…" Sheik noted, soon nodding in agreement with the younger Link. As soon as the older Link drew out a bottle of water though, the disguised prince turned to his friend, raising his eyebrows slightly. That was a start, at least… and if that water bottle could only help one or two of them, then he knew that he could wait until after they were at the inn. He wasn't exactly enthused about the idea, but even if he returned in his boy form, Neri would most likely not have any reason to suspect that something was different about him until well after they had returned to the sanctuary of their rooms.

Smiling just a bit at Ciela's unintentional pun, Sheik glanced to the Spirit of Courage, stating, "I can wait if we have to… even if Neri does see me, she probably won't suspect that anything has happened to me yet."

Before they could even discuss options for the bottle of water though, Tatl took charge, turned a bright shade of red, and darted upwards with the watering can in tow. Sheik blinked before exchanging a look with Link, Link, and Impa, only to soon see that the Terminian fairy had returned with another full watering can of water… this one set to be heated up for them.

Unable to suppress a slight chuckle, Sheik nodded to her, stating, "Thanks, Tatl! We definitely appreciate it." Now with this, hopefully they would be able to return to the inn without further incident!

Impa glanced down the street at Ciela's suggestion regarding the corner store, inwardly weighing out how effective that option might be. She was personally fine with it, but with as close as they were to the inn, it was most likely not worth it for one of them to pop in to get a bottle of water or two.

Just as she was about to motion for them to just carry on for now, the Sheikah-turned-bear caught the older Link's expression just before he pulled a single bottle of water out. Her round ears perking up slightly, Impa growled softly to the boy, right before shaking her head a bit. She recalled that he had taken the time to full up that bottle back at the hot spring, but regardless of the fact that the water had cooled down by now, she felt that it was best for them to save their own bottles of water for times when they absolutely could not find it from another source.

It was much the same concept of conserving ones bombs when there were bomb flowers nearby… there was no need to use ones own inventory when there was an easily utilized and comparable substitute nearby.

Impa watched as Leaf jumped right onto the cork of the bottle, soon growling a bit in spite of herself at Ciela's accidental pun. Shaking her head to show that she did not mind, the bear looked back towards the sidewalk as she pondered that option. The inn was already in sight… and whilst she knew they could each wait until they had returned, the biggest obstacle they faced was making it inside without Neri seeing them cursed. The Spirit of Wisdom would have to see their cursed forms soon enough of course, but if they could help it, it was best for those to NOT be the first versions of them she saw this afternoon.

As Tatl spoke up, Impa watched the less than pleased Terminian fairy take matters into her own wings, right before flying up to the balcony which the watering can had fallen from in the first place. In short order, she had returned with a full pail of water, set to be heated up and change them back. Growling her thanks to Tatl, Impa gestured to show that the three of them were ready whenever Leaf was.

Link scratched his head through his hat. He haven't though of the bottle of water only lasting for so long. They were that close to the inn now that he thought they very well might make it if they were extra careful. Yet they had been extra careful through their entire trip from Zinnia's spring to here and three of them still got splashed by stray water.

Then suddenly, he was bopped in the head by Tatl. "Ha-a?" questioned Link, reaching up to touch the part of his head the fairy had lightly hit. Save the bottle? Wait, where was she going?

"He--" Ciela started, snapping back in alarm as the fairy changed colour, darted for the watering can and was soon swooping up to the balcony it fell from. "--Ey?" she finished and shared a glance with the others before she followed the Terminian fairy up. Meanwhile, Leaf's wings drooped. Did they mean he didn't have to heat any water?

As the Spirit of Courage joined Tatl on the balcony, she cocked a wing at the fairy's fuming and actions. It was so... Tatl. Ciela looked down at the bear, rabbit, boy and boy below then back at Tatl before there was a slight downward tilt of inner reflection. What was she doing? Was she acting like herself? She was but she was also not at the same time. This situation had made her more stressed than she would had believed herself capable of being and all because Neri wasn't here? This shouldn't be happening! She was Ciela and she was much stronger than this... or so she believed. She went through part of the quest in the World of the Ocean King without the other fairies so she shouldn't be getting this stressed out when just one of them were not around. Though she wasn't as close to Link then as she was now. Maybe that had something to do with it along with the way that when she was alone with Link, she didn't have all her memories as a  Spirit so could not remember her bond with the fairies.

Had she really been so used to having the other fairies to bounce emotions and thoughts of that she was now spoilt into not being able to handle something like this? No! Ciela would not allow that!

So it was that she was glad that her fellow yellow fairy was here. Her presence and especially this moment struck Ciela at just the right time to shed some of the stress she was piling onto herself and regain some of her confidence. She nodded a thank you to Tatl then followed her back down to the others.

Back on the ground, Leaf perked up at the sight of the can and Link nodded, finally understanding what was happening. He smiled and nodded his thanks to the fairy with the watering and pocketed his bottle of water again. Leaf, who had since leapt off the cork, glowed brighter and peeked into the hole of the can. "YES!" he cheered then with a somersault, dove straight into the water and glowed bright enough for it to be seen coming out of the hole.

Very soon steam wafted up and just as you thought the surface of the water would bubble and the entire can would be encompassed by fire magic, Leaf exploded back out. "Pah!" he exclaimed, shaking off droplets of water and immensely proud he had just heated up his first bit of water for this curse business. "One pail of hot water! There we go! Who is the dingbat now?....Actually, don't answer that."

Link grinned and took a big step back so as not to be caught under the hot water shower that was going to come.

Nodding to acknowledge the thanks from everyone, Tatl continued to hold the watering can steady for Leaf, unable to resist the slightest of fairy smirks at his ecstatic exclamation. As he dove into the can and began to heat up the water, the Terminian fairy found herself very grateful for both her own heat tolerance and the fact that the metal can had a wooden handle attached to it. In short order, the water was heated up to what seemed to be a reasonable temperature, and she was set to hold the can out for the currently transformed trio. However, first things first…

"I don't have to," quipped Tatl, chiming as she flew a bit higher. "You already KNOW the answer to that."

Her response given, she moved to tilt the watering can over before moving to fly just above Link, Sheik, and Impa, unable to resist puffing just the slightest in smugness at catching their smiles of relief.

Link could only watch in awe as the Spirit of Power heated up the can of water and with a very grateful nod called, "Thanks Leaf!" He chuckled a little bit at the red fairy's enthusiasm as well as at Tatl's comeback for him, right before he found himself sitting just under a perfectly hot shower of water courtesy of his fairy companion.

The change was practically instant once more, just as his transformation to a rabbit had been, and he now found himself roughly eye to eye with his nametwin instead of just barely knee-high to him. Link grinned to the older boy, glad to already be back to himself, and he soon turned that relieved smile to Sheik and Impa as they were returned to their true forms as well. Being a rabbit wasn't bad, but it was nice to have changed back since they were so close to home!

With another grateful nod to all three of the fairies, Link noted, "Now that we're changed back, maybe we should try to get home as soon as possible. We should be just in time for Neri." He knew that the Spirit of Wisdom would understand their arrival time no matter when it was, but she did tend to like for them to return around a rough estimate that they gave her prior to setting out. And now that most of the day's work was finished at the inn, they should be just in time to return home.

Sheik could not help but laugh happily at Leaf's ecstatic cry as he dove into the watering can, his red eyes widening slightly as he saw the inside of the can begin to glow, steam starting to gently rise up from the openings of the can as the water was heated up. Once the Spirit of Power emerged from the now hot water, the disguised prince nodded his thanks to him once more, stating, "Thank you, Leaf… really." He would have been fine to return to the inn as a boy, but honestly, he was rather glad that he would be able to be himself once they set foot back inside their home.

Sharing a grin with the older Link, Sheik soon watched as the younger Link was returned to himself right before he was caught under the refreshing shower of hot water as well. Shaking her head slightly to clear some of the water from her bangs, the disguised princess could not help but let out a relieved sigh. She was already starting to get used to her curse despite having only been changed into that form three times, but once more, whilst it was not bad or even constantly awkward to be a boy, she was happy to be herself again. Sheik was more than fine to test out her curse later, but for returning home… she felt it was best to eliminate even the slightest chance of Neri picking up that anything was amiss.

Whilst the Spirit of Wisdom would not pick up anything that could even give away the curse across their connection, Sheik had a feeling that the only thing that would be a potential indicator that anything had happened to her was the way her voice changed when she turned into a boy. She was lucky in that it only deepened a little bit, and the occasional crack in it was still the better bit of evidence than the subtle lowering she experienced. Still… since she knew the blue fairy was likely to fret over all four of them, she wanted Neri to find out about all four of their curses in a controlled environment and on their own terms. Hopefully, that would not prove to be too challenging for them…

With a smile to Impa as she changed back into herself as well, Sheik glanced to Link at his suggestion. Nodding to him, she noted, "Yeah, I agree… we're already back around the time we said we'd aim for, but it we'd best not give her another reason to worry over us. She might have more than enough of that once we tell her."

Sheik turned to Ciela, giving her a reassuring smile before adding, "I know she'll be just fine… she's the Spirit of Wisdom, after all." Neri would likely still worry at least a little… or rather a lot… but the disguised princess had full confidence that she would be able to handle even this rather surprising and disconcerting turn of events.

Impa was certainly just as grateful for Leaf's eagerness to help as she was Tatl's fetching of the new can full of water, and she could not help but smile softly as the Spirit of Power dove right into the water. No sooner had the red fairy heated up the water and burst forth from it than had he and Tatl had another humorous exchange, one that had the Sheikah-turned-bear growling a little in amusement alongside the laughter of her charges.

They might have all been cursed, but even with this new aspect of their constitutions, this much certainly proved that overall, nothing had really changed for the Hyruleans. The Sage of Shadow knew that to be true even after they had first discovered what had happened to them, but it was still very nice to see it.

After Tatl moved to pour the hot water over Link and Sheik, Impa found herself underneath the gentle shower, and in an instant, she had changed back into her true form. She shook her head a little to remove some of the excess water, and with another grateful nod to Tatl, soon looked back to her charges. Impa fully agreed with the sentiments voiced by the Hero of Time and disguised princess, and with a glance to the older Link, she soon nodded to all three of them. It seemed that they had all effectively landed on the same page together, which even though that was hardly surprising, it was still rather nice.

"Of course... I think that since we're already this close, we might as well close the distance even quicker," stated Impa, right before moving to place her hands on the shoulders of all three of her changes, her right hand landing on both Link and Sheik's shoulder and her left going to that of the older Link. Looking just down the next couple of blocks towards the front of the Stock Pot Inn, she smiled to the three Hylian kids and added, "Come on."

At that, Impa performed a Sheikah Vanish with Link, Link, Sheik, and the fairies all in tow. They all reappeared right in front of the main door of Stock Pot Inn, and with a glance to the familiar door, the Sage of Shadow looked to her charges with a reassuring smile. "Here we are, then... let's head on in." And with a wave forward, the Hyruleans moved to enter the inn.
