    --------------------------------------

Staring at the sign that said 'Danger: Proximity Mines', Aqua's ocean blue eyes widened in surprise. It was a wonder to how she even stumbled upon the hive. Given an invitation from Aradia Megido in the Sanctuary, she was happy to accept. Inside her cheerful figure though was an Aqua that was full of nervous tension and worry. She wanted to make a good impression on the people here, and not make a complete fool of herself. The woman had been here for a while now, but disappeared for quite some time. Curiosity had consumed her being and she stumbled into the large forest of Portal Breach, yet she did not emerge months later. Aqua wondered if anyone even noticed that she was missing, but she highly doubted that. After all, she was still new here.

When she came back though... Portal Breach seemed more emptier. Some people that she had met she didn't see around anymore, and individuals seemed saddened. Despite how she kept her cheerful figure those emotions didn't go unnoticed. She noticed that Livewire would sometimes hide herself in the couch in her times in the Sanctuary, or how Laharl thought love was nothing but pain. Aqua wanted to do something for them - for the ones that would let her help. She wouldn't pry on the matters but she would at least try to be friends with the people she met here. If that was the very least she could do, then she would do so.

Managing to gather an outfit together she pressed her fingers down on the sleeves. Taking in a deep breath, and heaving out, she made her way to the door. She began reassuring herself that it was okay to be here; she was invited here.

It's alright, Aqua... You can adjust here. You can make new friends. You just have to be yourself.

Knocking about four times on the door Aqua stepped back slightly and brushed a few strands of blue hair out of her view. Aqua simply waited patiently for someone to answer the door despite her nervous disposition.

Aradia spotted Aqua from afar, watching from the window of the sixth floor's right wing of the hive. Yay! Aqua was here! The ram troll then dashed down to the stairwell, then using the transportalizer to deliver her to the room where she disabled the laser cannons. She then rushed down to the first floor and when Aradia reached the nearest window (that she was absolutely sure that Aqua could see her from), she waved and nodded in affirmation to let Aqua know that she was safe as can be for now. That was good. Aradia didn't want to see Aqua blown to bits, did she? Mmm, no. Smiling, Aradia then rushed to the main entrance and opened the doors for the human to enter the marvelous exterior of the little hive the curly horned troll shared with another troll, a demon, and an archangel.

Yes. Aradia found that Portal Breach was much, much more empty than it could be. It was sad and desolate and reminded her of the timelines of the alpha kids the ancestors had shown her. Very dead and barren. However, the gamma was not a wasteland. Everything will be alright. Some may come back, some may not. Some may be lost. Some will leave voluntarily. However, that did not change the fact that there would still be light and hope. That life would go on as time went on. Everything was a product of fate and all of it would be equally sad and happy. There was nothing but an equal amount of sadness and happiness, hatred and love, and light and darkness. This what what Aradia believed in.

Aradia had desperately wanted to cheer up Aqua for her loss of friends. Aqua was simply a darling girl who deserved nothing but perfection. However, it was such a bitter loss for Aqua when all of her friends were gone. And Laharl, he had such a sad history... Behind that smug smirk of arrogance was simply a boy afraid of love and pain.

And then, Aradia started hating herself for feeling bad about Sollux. No matter what happened, the timelines dictated that she would die, that Sollux would move on, and that she would never ever regain a love like the Gemini troll ever again. However, life moved on. Aradia moved on. Love made her happy. It did not cause the pain she felt nor the apathy. That was merely fate and time. That was what she believed, at least.

There was no time to think about the past. The past is done and over with. Time to move onto new friends. Like Aqua.

Aradia smiled as she gestured for the blue haired girl to enter, the door wide open and the laser cannons totally disabled. Aqua would be safe here, at least on the ram troll's watch. The Alternian child's disarming smile attempted to make the mood less tense.

    "hey aqua welc0me! :D"

As Aqua waited, she remembered catching a glimpse of Aradia in an upper level window in the hive. Judging by her excited wave and smile, everything was alright; she had nothing to worry about. Just relax and everything will turn out smoothly. The doors opened and standing there was the young troll herself. Unknowingly, a smile breached her own lips at Aradia's own smile. Upon the return to the breach she had met the zodiac troll, and found her kindness simply amazing. The woman was a little surprised at how she didn't seem to have many friends so far, but it seems it must all depend on how well you get along with others, and how long you've been here.

A reason why she may have been nervous may be because there aren't as many people here as she thought there'd be. It was bothering her in a way. It was bustling when she had arrived, finding the Sanctuary, and meeting all different kinds of people. It was a wonderful feeling to meet new people after being trapped in the void for so long. Deep inside all she wanted now was nothing more than a friend, people that she could look after, and that she could spend time with. Fully aware of the fact that she couldn't rescue her friends, she knew that the others back in her system would do their best. They all were strong and brave to do what she can't anymore.

For now, she would focus on her new life here.

Ever since learning of Aradia's matespritship with another one of her kind named Sollux, and hearing her of how she needed another girl to talk to, Aqua was drawn to her. She wanted to make Aradia feel like she could get along here; she wanted to do the same for Laharl, and for others as well. The ram troll was a sweet young girl, and she was certainly growing to be quite the pretty troll (despite how she hasn't seen any other female trolls). She wanted to make new friends, and she wanted to restore the pain left inside.

Indeed: The past is the past.

As Aradia gestured, the woman smiled and stepped inside the domain. Eyes widening slightly Aqua had caught the laser canons in the building. Part of her was glad that the children here were protected with such advanced systems. Another part was shocked to see the fire power of the laser canons. Whoever would think of breaking into this place would be road kill.

At the welcoming smile and her voice, Aqua relaxed as she turned to look at Aradia. "Thank you very much, Aradia. I'm glad to be here. This is a rather interesting home you have, and I can admit that part of me is relieved to see that you kids are being kept safe with a system like this." she complimented bending down to become level with her. It was out of complete courtesy in Aqua's head - especially with the fact that she was wearing high heeled boots which boosted her to over six feet tall.

Aradia even winked a little bit at the blue haired young woman on the ground when she had been scouting for her up on the higher levels. And yeah! There was nothing Aqua had to worry about! No way Jose would Aradia of all people allow the older girl to get hurt by those dumb laser cannons! Why the hell were they even there!? Aradia thought they were scary at first because god were they huge but then she eventually got used to them. She still didn't like the idea though because Zurg had warned that despite that Alternian security maaay be enough, it might not be because no ISO is going to help support the trolls when they run into trouble. It wasn't Portal City.

Aradia actually was less nervous with less people. Although the troll child was a fairly friendly social butterfly, it's very hard to talk to people, especially if you have to cheer them up. However, the important thing was that she tried and tried and tried. Trying is the most important part of helping people; Aradia was not a fair weather fan. She would always try to help others. Like Aqua. Aqua was a wonderful person who could help a lot of people well enough! She was kind, strong, and beautiful. The troll could not help but admire the young woman as she talked to her. Aqua also had a very, very pretty smile. But the heart of gold inside was what counted, and Aradia was sure Aqua definitely had one.

However, hearts could be hurt by the darkness of negative feelings. Fear. Hatred. Wrath. Loss.

There was a lot of loss around here, including for Aqua. Aradia had some too, considering she never met her kin that left. Both of her own roommates had their own form of lost. For Eridan: his matespiritship, and for Laharl, his mother and Flonne (though the archangel is here now).

Aradia didn't like to think she lost too much. The redrom between her and Sollux was doomed to fail from Square One. The ancestors predicted it; until now, in every single timeline, the troll would always, always die. Even when she first arrived was she saved by the skin of her teeth. The blue flash of a portal just whisked her away from her doom. Aradia left right at the moment when Solux would kill her. This is the part where he kills you, was what she called it. She did not blame him; it was Vriska's fault. Plus, Aradia was the person who initially angered Vriska (though this was because she broke her friend's legs).

But the past is the past. Vriska is not here.

Aradia then gave way for a gentle pause so Aqua could adjust to the scene. There were a LOT of laser cannons, and the only reason why they were there was probably due to the fact that the BLACKCAT and sabotage incidents and the negative reputation of the trolls very much endangered these children. Whoever wanted to break into their home was probably out to kill, as far as Aradia knew.

Aradia was relieved as Aqua relaxed. It took some time for even the curly horned troll to get used to the defense mechanisms of this place. "0h thank y0u very much i just m0ved in tr0lls usually have plenty 0f security measures in their hives but i never really underst00d why we had laser cann0ns f0r 0ur hive until very very recently b0y was i surprised! but the reas0n is l0ng past my time i d0nt mind th0ugh" Aradia said as she looked up at Aqua. She hoped the woman didn't strain herself too much  if she had a problem bending down to the child. It didn't seem like that; it was mere courtesy and Aradia was grateful for that.

    Sorry for being so late.

The Hive was certainly a sight to behold; the Keyblade Master gave credit to that. In the past, Aqua had traveled to many different worlds with castles, dungeons, and even large forests filled with a variety of things. This home of theirs had certainly trumped them all. Back then she had always seemed to find her way around without having to know a single aspect of the world itself; now she was rusty as she could get. Spending over a decade in the eternal bonds of darkness while attributed with light can cause a number on the body and mind.

After making the sacrifice she had, her skills disappeared from her grasp. She only prevented the ones she cared about from dying in her stead, but in turn she needed to give up her abilities, and formed bonds. Nothing ended in anyone's favor on her side; Ventus was to sleep without his heart, and Terra was formed into a puppet for the very person she was ordered to apprehend. Failure spit in her face no matter how many times she flashed back to the memories.

Tuning into the here and now, Aqua listened intently to the ram headed troll. Slightly tilting her head the smile on her lips grew slightly. Aradia herself didn't understand why they required the powerful defense system; Aqua could understand needing them for protection purposes, though in her mind it was a little much. Better safe than sorry it seems.

Listening to the younger girl, she couldn't find any reason to even fathom how one could dislike her kind. Learning from the zodiac troll herself, as Aradia grew she would carry aspects of her blood color. Rusty red was the color she carried, and Aqua had to admit that it suited her perfectly. Aradia was a simply beautiful being of her kind. Despite how she was still maturing Aqua could already catch a few qualities of her blood color forming on her features.

Straightening herself she gazed the room while crossing her arms. "Well, I think this home is impressive. I've never lived in a big home like this. I always had a small room with only a small number of belongings I gathered over the years." she commented before beginning to walk down a large hallway at a slow pace. "It may just be me, but I honestly can't really see why people would want to come after you and the others, Aradia." Looking to said troll Aqua's eyes brimmed with curiosity and question.

"You are just kids after all... It's unfair."

Post by Aradia Megido on Wed Jul 24, 2013 1:47 am

To be honest, Aradia thought the hive to be far too garish for her own tastes. The way it was designed, the castle theme, sheer size: it was all too much for her! It was a death trap for both the intruders and inhabitants sometimes. Acquiring the bracelet that allowed her safe passage gave the ram troll a whole new level of hellish grief. Goddamn it. Karkat, why did you have to be so paranoid? Oh, wait.... This was Portal Breach. You know, the place where you had every reason to be nervous unless if you lived under a rock and had absolutely no life? Thankfully, or sadly, no one Aradia knew was like that. Who the hell would be?

Aradia always knew Karkat was a nervous train wreck and had she been closer to him, she would give him the affectionate litte pet name of u lil' shit (head) for how well intended yet self destructive he was. Aradia understood that it was truly and horribly pathetic of him and the others to leave without notifying those left behind; although, that could be her mutual wrath speaking because she was sympathetic to Eridan and Laharl. They were fairly angry too. Aradia knew Karkat was looking out for the two, or at least, Eridan Ampora but some things she heard that he had said made the curly horned troll refuse to believe him since she proved him wrong by getting on the somewhat good side of the people Karkat had warned about.

Oh, Aradia didn't know why the system was needed after all. Sure it was powerful. But on Portal Breach, it took little to no time to deduce that such a mighty device could be rendered useless. The interior and fortifications could easily be reduced to nothing. A bitter smile spread upon her face as she mused that food for thought over and over in her head.

Returning to observing Aqua, Aradia noticed how even, delicate, and feminine the young woman's facial features appeared on a lovely sleek oval face. A rosy blush of life matched Aqua's peachy yet tanned complexion. Aradia didn't know how human anatomy worked, but this lady next to her sure was so goddamn beautiful, like a striking movie star or super model. The slender yet curvaceous frame of Aqua's body was so admirable, Aradia envied her, wishing she had those instead of her docile, slowly becoming rust red composition.

Aradia beamed, feigning nonchalance. "i kn0w what y0u mean this hive is huge in c0mparis0n t0 h0w mine was mine was quite small and filled up with a bunch 0f stuff i h0arded" She nodded understandingly, having been in a similar situation. Doing her best to sustain her smile, the Alternian child responded, "and 0h n0 I d0nt think any0ne w0uld c0me after us n0w 0r later itd be t0tally useless and cumbers0me t0 d0 s0 all that these are is imply a mement0 0f the past the 0thers disagree th0ugh"

"we are just kids but life is always unfair it d0es n0t discriminate either" Aradia only chuckled with a sad smile in reaction to Aqua's remark.

The home reminded her of something she came across long ago. It was almost like someone created this out of pure paranoia. From the inside of this floor it was rather uneven in a few small ways. Aqua wasn't one to judge the infrastructure of the hive because she had seen environments close to this one. It was something of a routine while traveling from world to world in her system. Having gotten so used to dark environments, the fact of being stuck here with actual sunlight was almost a dream.

It was a confusing time for her as there were lesser people here than expected. There were even mentions of the Organization in the past before she appeared here. It was clear that there was a certain air of emotion around Portal Breach. It wasn't her place to talk about it regardless, and besides: She was here to live life and relax. Aqua might as well enjoy the time she can spend here.

Tapping a finger to her chin, she tilted her head to gaze upon the first floor's ceiling. Completely oblivious to Aradia even observing her she mentally voiced the opinions of the home in her head; some of which were positive and others negative. By the time Aradia had spoken, she had almost tuned out. Turning her attention to the young teenager she listened fully to what she had to say. Even living by herself in the past, she was still doing fine - at least that's what it seemed like. A feeling inside of the woman pricked at her that the troll was almost trying too hard for this.

Aradia was right: Life could be unfair.

About everyone could speak from experience. Finally comfortable, Aqua smiled comfortingly down at Aradia. Without hesitation she patted the ram trolls head - something telling her she should avoid the horns - and rested her hand on her head. "Well, you're right. Life is unfair but it can also turn out in our favor. We may have troubles but we can overcome them by facing it ourselves." she admitted before a growl erupted from her tummy. On instinct she patted her tummy, grumbling to herself as if for it to stop, and even smiled embarrassingly at Aradia. "Um... Do you happen to have any food perhaps?" she asked with a laugh.

Post by Aradia Megido on Fri Jul 26, 2013 8:59 pm

Aradia understood that Karkat created this hive as a sort of shell for himself and his friends: to protect them. The crab troll had everyone in mind because he knew others may possibly be coming to live with him. He owned this hive and he could do anything he wanted with it. Everyone who lived here had to live under his rules and his leadership, but now... Karkat Vantas was gone: long gone. She would miss him probably, even though she never ever talked to him on Portal Breach. She only heard of him. However, Aradia was in control of this hive now due to how passive Eridan was. At least, that was the situation before Laharl came.

Right now, the two trolls now had a demon overlord (and archangel) living with them now because the two had rudely barged in! Absolutely 2rude4her! However, it was all good that she had some higher leveled guardian duo to protect her and Eridan from higher level attackers. The problem was what if the attackers were several decades of levels higher than all of them combined, huh? What're you gonna do about that, Overlord Laharl?

The ram troll shook that thought off. Alongside the other trolls, left the animosity about them. Aradia doubted anyone would come after her and Eridan; though extra protection would be absolutely wonderful. Just in case, after all. Plus, it'd leave them all no need for the pesky laser cannons! She'd have to convince everyone in the hive to help her remove such a security system since it was so unneeded. Provided the other trolls did come back, however... Aradia would need to make sure they were all very careful and polite to others because in this world, social connections were as key as the ability to fight.

Life was unfair, but if you played it right, you'd get much farther than you'd think.

Aradia smiled as Aqua petted her head, but her eyes widened as she realized the human was hungry. Wait a second, human feeding unit. You will be fed in no time, so please do not fret. Aradia will be there to cook the most human foods she had known! Of course, she'd only save it for visitors: it was rather tasty but also it could pack on a few pounds should it be eaten regularly. Of course Aradia knew better than that though. "i agree my dear friend h0wever i w0uld ask that y0u wait a few minutes while i make s0me f00d f0r y0u i guarantee itll be as tasty as i can p0ssibly make it i kn0w h0w because i had s0me at zurgs h0use if y0u d0nt mind i will have s0me t00 s0 please excuse me" Aradia then promptly excused herself and left to the kitchen.

There, she took out a box of hot cocoa mix and retrieved two packages. Then she filled a tea kettle with hot water and boiled it over the stove until it was the right temperature to make perfect hot chocolate. Carefully, she watched the tea kettle for several minutes until she thought it was ready to be used. In the meanwhile, she got out a parcel of frozen egg rolls. She took them out and put them on a non-stick baking sheet before sending it right into the oven just like Lawrence did. Patiently, the curly horned troll waited so the food could be used to make plenty of delicious food.

"Thank you very much, Aradia. I will gladly eat whatever you make, and I'm sure that you'll do a great job with it. Just be careful and don't hurt yourself or anything like that...", Aqua said as she watched Aradia exit the room and into another - what she was assuming the kitchen. Now she simply had to collect her thoughts, calm down, and relax. With word from Aradia that she would cook the food, Aqua had thought about going in to help but she thought it best not do so. After all she barely knew this place like the back of her hand, and she was a guest. Beginning to hum to herself she began walking about the room with her hands behind her back. Curious to see the many features of this room she wasn't completely positive that this room was safe at all.

The outside had already surprised her enough; more coming her way would lead to a heart attack.

The woman was simply waiting for the food, unsure of what to preoccupy herself with. The mention of Zurg did ring a bell or two inside of her mind. It then occurred to her that at one point while she was in the Sanctuary, Zurg was mentioned a few times by Livewire. It was only the name that rung the bell though; the woman had completely forgotten the rest of what was said in the building.

As time passed, Aqua had remembered the offer she made to both the ram troll and Livewire about the Wayfinder's she would make for the two. Deciding to begin on that while waiting, Aqua had taken a seat on the floor and took out the extra pieces she had brought with her just in case Aradia wanted to overlook the process of how Aqua would work on the trinket.

It would help to pass the time.

"i w0nt keep y0u l0ng! and i will be careful i kn0w h0w t0 make this stuff" Aradia promised. Aqua was to be left at ease. The trolls did not exactly have a parlor or sitting room, and the ram troll felt bad for Aqua's having to sit on the floor due to the fact there wasn't a living room, so she poked her head out of the kitchen and into the hallway. "als0 if y0u d0nt want t0 sit 0n the fl00r y0u came c0me up t0 the left wing 0f the third fl00r: thats the m0vie theater sh0uld y0u want t0 watch s0mething with me while we chat and eat the stairway and transp0rtalizer is t0 y0ur right feel free t0 use either" She did her best to be as hospitable as possible, but the curly horned troll wondered if she was good enough. The water was done, and she turned the stove off before leaving the water to simmer. Then, she got a pair of mugs and two packages of hot cocoa with little marshmallows. Aradia poured the water into the cups before mixing in the hot cocoa powder and marshmallows. Then, she placed the cups on a tray which she would also place the egg rolls on. Those, however, were still thawing out.

On the inside, the hive seemed like any mundane hive that was not uncommon amongst lowbloods, aside from its massive size. There were still some messes that needed to be cleaned up, left behind by the other trolls before they left. This usually consisted of dried up blood, Faygo, soporic slime, broken glass, milk, and etc. You name it; it was there.

Zurg was a very important name around here, apparently--save the Portals. He seemed well-reputed, and everyone knew about him. He had been in the evil business for a while but retired to live a happy life with his lover Jo Pistonne and butler Lawrence. While not everyone knew the full detail that Aradia was exposed to, she had to wonder if things were better that way-at least for the ex-evil emperor.

Aradia did remember Aqua's promise to make Wayfinders for her and Livewire. This Aqua human was just so generous that the Alternian child pondered if all humans were like that or if the blue-haired female was exceptional. As for as she knew, Aqua was extraordinary in many ways, especially as a good person. She had a feeling the woman would do well on the Breach.

Aradia tapped her foot on the ground and her fingers onto the kitchen counter as she waited for the egg rolls to be done.

It's alright. I didn't post that much this time either. And I'm sorry about you having to post on your phone. Mobile devices are simply the hardest possible thing to type on.

Shuffling her knees across the floor, Aqua didn't mind how there weren't any furniture for her to rest on. It was actually something that allowed her to rest the soles of her feet, and to get good movement. It was better than twiddling her thumbs or gawking aimlessly at the first floor.

Aradia Megido wrote:"als0 if y0u d0nt want t0 sit 0n the fl00r y0u came c0me up t0 the left wing 0f the third fl00r: thats the m0vie theater sh0uld y0u want t0 watch s0mething with me while we chat and eat the stairway and transp0rtalizer is t0 y0ur right feel free t0 use either"
Aradia was certainly the hospitable one. "Alright. Thank you for the offer, Aradia! I'll go up to the third floor!" Aqua gathered the pieces of the unfinished Wayfinder to complete later, and composing herself she rose to her feet. Making her way to the transportalizer the woman gathered up the courage to try something new. Closing her eyes and taking in a deep breath, she disappeared in one quick moment before re-appearing on the third floor. It certainly seemed homey and not to mention that it was clean from what she could tell.

Taking a seat on a chair Aqua had taken the time to express her opinion so far on Aradia. The young troll was rather kind, and she definitely knew how to take care of herself. With the knowledge of cooking, and (judging by the room) cleaning, the woman was impressed. Not to mention how hospitable Aradia has been to her so far. The ram troll didn't have to cook for her or show kindness, yet she was anyway. It was certainly something that made Aqua more comfortable. She was hoping that Aradia was able to have many friends on the Breach. Unlike Aradia, she didn't think she would do as great as she would.

Aradia tapped her foot on the ground and her fingers onto the kitchen counter as she waited for the egg rolls to be done.

She simply sat there in the chair waiting...

To be honest, the ram troll had no idea how the woman felt at this moment. In fact, she was just super worried she wouldn't be a good hostess, to no surprise since the only person she ever invited to her home was Sollux Captor, way back when the two of them lived on Alternia, and before Vriska pulled a fast one on Tavros.

Aradia didn't think she was a bad hostess though. Otherwise, Aqua would have left already. "its n0 pr0blem at all" She smiled as she waved goodbye. "ill be seeing y0u" The curly horned troll couldn't help but think in wonder of what Aqua thought of the movie theater. Today, it was all neat and tidy but also filled to the brim with romcoms, sitcoms, tragedies, sci fi, horror, and whodunit movies due to the fact it was just used yesterday by the two resident trolls, a demon overlord, and an archangel. The rule was if you didn't clean after yourself, you couldn't use it. Surely, the two of them would be very careful and clean about how they went about their day there.

The home movie theater, that was in actuality a living room, was pretty nice, with semi-dim lighting that was controlled by a series of switches. The lights were hidden behind by pale coral pink shell-like lampshades on top of black walls and a black ceiling. The floor was carpeted with dark red for the walkway and dark blue for everywhere else, glittering with embedded green LED light. The seats were plush and black and green. Hopefully, it would be a comfortable place to be in. Shelves of films and other videos pushed against the entrance's wall as Aradia stepped into the room, a silver tray with steaming hot delicacies in hand. She beamed brightly at the other woman. The egg rolls had been toasted golden brown with time and Aradia had gladly rushed upstairs to serve them.

Aradia seated herself on a couch nearby after placing the treats down on the huge table before them.

With a beaming smile, Aradia's presence caught Aqua's attention. The ram troll seemed to be in a delightful mood. It was a sight that brought a smile to her own lips. Returning the gesture the woman patiently sat in the chair while her eyes followed the troll's movements. The food certainly looked delicious in her view and the soft twirling motion of air danced from the very origin itself. Keeping mannerisms intact, she bowed her head in thanks and grabbed a plate of the golden brown delicacy. "Thank you, Aradia. It looks delicious." she complimented with a warm smile.

Taking the roll in her fingers she brought the food to her lips, and took a bite. A warm and sweet sensation filled her taste buds, and with a slight upward motion of the woman's shoulders she gazed upon Aradia with a satisfied emotion. "This is really good." she complimented once more after swallowing. Setting the plate down onto the table she began to wonder why there wasn't anyone else around? It may have just been her imagination - she was aware that Aradia doesn't live alone which is a good thing. That was all that she knew of however.

Then an idea had come to mind. The two could get to know each other a little better while she was here.

"So, Aradia, is there anything you're curious about? Any questions you would like to ask me?"

I'm sorry that this took so long... School's back up again, so that has me busy.

She gave the human a stern but friendly gaze. "be careful the h0t c0c0a and the egg r0lls are b0th very warm" Aradia warned as she met Aqua's gaze, sitting down upright but relaxed as she smiled at the bluenette. Hopefully, Aqua would enjoy these egg rolls and cups of hot chocolate; the ram troll did her very best to make them to suit the other girl's taste so when Aqua thanked her, she only nodded in acknowledgement and returned the smile. It was no problem, her grinning face read. Good manners was a rare sight to have on Alternia, almost to the point where the ram troll found it a shame. But on Portal Breach it seemed somewhat common.

The Alternian child eyed Aqua very intently, almost scrutinizing the piece of food as the woman took a bit of the golden brown egg roll with egg and shredded cabbage and carrot inside. It was mouthwatering. Even Aradia couldn't resist the temptation. She held one egg roll in her hand carefully, wincing as she felt how piping hot it was. It wasn't too hot though, thankfully. "thank y0u aqua im glad y0u like it as f0r why eridan isnt ar0und hes pr0bably asleep in his r00m laharl and fl0nne are pr0bably up t0 s0me s0rt 0f tr0uble i w0uld be with them had i n0t decided t0 have a girls night 0ut with y0u instead t0 be h0nest i think thats pr0bably a bit m0re fun than c0nstantly sticking my n0se in danger" It really is. Aradia was very surprised she wasn't dead yet.

Aqua was right. They could get to know each other. Isn't that why they were spending time together in the first place?

    "i am actually! aqua i d0nt really kn0w much ab0ut y0u i w0nt f0rce y0u t0 g0 int0 anything painful but can y0u please give me a better idea 0f wh0 y0u are? y0ure a w0nderful y0ung w0man but thats als0 im sure 0f im afraid i d0nt kn0w much else"

Warmly smiling, fingers brushed against her softly patterned dress to dispose of any crumbs that attached themselves to the fabric. It was a matter of looking presentable after all, and even when growing up around a household of boys, she still learned the importance of manners in cases such as this. Her two old friends were the messiest of men she had come to know, and even her master had his share of leftovers. And, as if it wasn't obvious enough, she would have to get herself dirty just to clean up after them.

At the knowledge of Aradia preferring to be here over sticking her nose into trouble, a rather 'girlish' laugh escaped her lips. It still upheld the slightly deep note of her voice, yet it managed to reach that level nonetheless. It proved that she was enjoying the time here, and that Aradia was indeed becoming a fast friend in Aqua's book. It was a warm laugh, on she hadn't had in a long time...

Brushing a strand of loose hair away from her complexion, she smiled at Aradia as she crossed her legs. Finally relaxing after what seemed like hours, she began to share information about herself. Aqua didn't believe she was an interesting person, but she freely told what she could surface from her heart. It was a nice change of pace, a great opportunity to relax, and make a new friend right before her very eyes. Perhaps she would entertain this Alternian troll just as she was positive that Aradia would entertain her.

"Thank you, Aradia. You're very sweet. As for what I can tell you... I'm actually 21 years old and I was training under my old teacher, Master Eraqus. I thought of him as a father figure because I never really had the chance to know my parents. All I can remember is being under his care after my parents left me at the castle. I then met Terra and, years later, Ventus. They both were sweet boys and I had to look after them. You know how boys can be!"

After that little joke a small pause ensued. A small hitch shook Aqua's breath at the memories that began dancing back into her mind. Resting her hands on her lap, she still kept the same warm smile on her pink lips, and gazed to Aradia. With a slight laugh, she dared to continue. Straying away of what became of her friends she kept to information about herself. After all, Aradia had already known of what became of them.

"I love to make lucky charms and love to eat fruit. I enjoy spending time with others, and making new friends!"
