"I suppose," agreed Tetra. Over time...just like over time her own family became pirates though she was aware that was for the purpose of hiding their identity as royalty in the event that Ganondorf returned. And he did. Part of Tetra did question the decision to hide though. She was thankful for it and understood it but the very idea that she was a princess and her family had a kingdom. She would had like some kind of forewarning before she had to learn it the hard way by hearing it from the enemy.

"A deep whisper in your head," Tetra hummed as she tried to think of something similar she may have heard but came up blank. "A good sounding whisper I hope since having a voice in your head would be unnerving and creepy."

Hmm, it's not that much of a secret so much as general gossip that sounds to be of very little monetary value for the pirate to learn of. She wasn't sure if its worth stealing a Mask from a Sheikah for if that's the type of things you learn.

She nodded and grinned. "That would be interesting though I suppose there are no Gossip Stones around in this world for me to test the Mask on?"

Oh but there was one thing related to the stones though and it was sitting right in her pocket. This kid was proving to be rather honest and reliable so far and if by the time this 'later' came around perhaps Tetra wouldn't be as disinclined to let him know she had a Pirate's Charm. She just wouldn't tell him who owns the other charm.

As they walked through the city, Tetra did not stop looking around in confusion at everything around her. This world was so completely different from the people to the... everything. Even the pirate, tough as she was, felt a bit lost amongst all this. Why are there so many buildings all clustered together? How big is this island? She need a map and a compass. She looked towards the crowds of people, down the street and then the boy she was following, feeling a bit grateful that she managed to find somebody to guide her even though she could had managed perfectly fine on her own. Tetra took a step closer to Sheik so as not to easily be separated.

Sheik smiled the slightest bit sheepishly at Tetra's agreement, having a feeling that even though both of them had a different place in the flow of time, they had each been affected to a decent degree by it, both directly and indirectly. The disguised princess herself had come from one version of a timeline where time itself had not been as kind as it was on its proper course… and her descendant had had to learn of her own lineage from an unexpected source instead of it being passed down along with part of the Triforce of Wisdom. They had still done their best to make time work its best for both of them though, and even though neither of them was in Hyrule any more, they could both strive to do the same in this new world.

"Ha-ha, yeah, it's a good sounding whisper… it's more interesting than unnerving, I promise," said Sheik. "It's kind of the same as you hearing your own thoughts in your head, just in a whispered voice… and once it's finished speaking, you get that same 'ah-ha' feeling whenever you learn something new. It's the same as listening to someone or reading something in that respect."

Some of the secrets held by Gossip Stones were in fact very useful and of possible monetary value, but as there were not many if any of the mythical stones on the Breach yet, it was probably best to discuss more of their secrets later… especially once Tetra had had the chance to learn about the past of Hyrule and Sheik, Link, and Impa's tales from it.

Returning Tetra's grin, Sheik stated, "I've not found any yet… but if I ever happen to find one, I'll be sure to let you know."

As the two girls continued on through the city, Shiek began to notice something incredibly familiar from the older girl… namely her surprised, confused reactions at seeing all of the sights of the large, bustling city. The disguised princess had at least run into Lawrence and he had been able to help keep her distracted some, both in his new, pleasant company as well as his own explanations of some of the technology here. Even so though, Tetra's reactions were almost like looking to a mirror of the past… she knew that it was a strange, unfamiliar world to land in, especially coming from Hyrule, but even with all for hat, Sheik hoped that she would be able to help the pirate captain feel just the slightest bit more at ease.

Smiling almost imperceptibly as Tetra stepped a bit closer to her, Sheik glanced up ahead before pointing to a building that made up practically all of the next block over. "There it is… the Stock Pot Inn. As soon as we can cross this street here, the main entrance is right there."

"Hm," hummed Tetra. The thought that these Gossip Stones speak in your mind still don't sit very well with her.  Whether they are capable of reading her thoughts or not, she like her mind as her own, thank you very much. If they could speak in your mind, who knew what else they could do? But still, she was incredibly curious about these gossiping stones...

"As long as they really are harmless, I guess I might have a look at them," answered the girl finally. Tetra's eyes following the pointing bandaged finger and they landed on a large yellow and brown building that took up almost the entire block over. There was something about it that reminded her of... something that she wasn't sure about yet but she certainly appreciated the way it did not blare of new technology nor of all the new architecture that had lined the streets so far during the trip from park to...inn?

"An inn?" She didn't know they were heading for an inn. Tetra raised an eyebrow. When Sheik had mentioned a place of information, the disguised princess had thought it was something more akin to a town hall, bar or harbour - the latter two would had placed Tetra right in her element. An inn though, she guessed it made sense since it would undoubtedly have a large amount of people coming and going day in, day out. Judging by the size of the building, that's a LOT of people... that is if their business is good.

Tetra looked at the building then at the bandaged boy again. "Do I have to pay for information here?"

She may have a wallet full of rupees but she's not exactly the type to carry around absurd amounts of it mainly because it's mostly shared out amongst the crew or they stashed it in a chest and hid it somewhere.  It would be troublesome to keep all their treasure in one place lest any one of them get captured or their ship was taken. Tetra's gaze switched from looking Sheik to the fellow pedestrians sharing their part of the sidewalk. Well... if it turns out she didn't have enough rupees, she could always pick some pockets.

"They really are harmless," said Sheik, chuckling a bit at Tetra's statement regarding the Gossip Stones. Hoping to reassure her descendant further, she added, "If they weren't, I can promise you that the Sheikah wouldn't have made masks to communicate with them. They only pick up information and share it with those that hold a Mask of Truth… on their own, they stand alone to listen, and save telling you the time if you strike them with a blade, that's about it."

Once Sheik herself had first arrived on the Breach, one of the things that had really made her feel more comfortable already and simultaneously piqued her interest was the slightly more familiar look of the Stock Pot Inn. According to the Link from her time, it was not an exact replica of its similarly named place in Termina, but the homey feeling that it exuded was still there. It was a perfect fusion of older architecture and modern advances, and that was even more true once one set foot intside.

"Yes," replied Shiek, nodding to Tetra at her question. "I know it might seem odd, but this inn is really a hub of sorts for information. It's kind of like a hall in town or a tavern, but you can really take hold of things yourself better here." The disguised princess figured that it was best to save the fact that the Stock Pot Inn was more of a place of residence than temporary lodging for later… especially once she was reunited with a certain innkeeper…

Sheik raised an eyebrow once Tetra turned back to her, and she couldn't help but grin slightly at her next inquiry. Shaking her head, she replied, stating, "Ha-ha, no you don't have to pay for information here. That's part of why I brought you here, because I knew that the information was free. Free, reliable, and only what you want."

Tossing Tetra a wink to solidify her own words and show that this really was just the place, Sheik soon gestured ahead before continuing on the final leg, saying, "Right this way."

Wait, they tell you the time? If you beat them with a blade? “Does it have to be a blade? Can I use a hammer?” asked Tetra in amusement. If these stones were found in dungeons, it would be a handy way for them to know the time when there were no views of the outside world to judging the passing of time by.

Tetra looked at this inn again, this time she shielded her eyes against the bright sky and looked up at the roof, most importantly at the bell atop it. Such a huge bell reminded her of the Tower of the Gods though she doubt this one would open a portal to Hyrule.

“It must be a busy inn if it’s a hub of information. How many people could actually stay in it at one time?” she asked, lowering her hands from her eyes and turning back to Sheik before waving for them to cross over to their destination. If she cannot get back to her own world immediately then this might end up being a temporary haven for her… depending on the price of lodging and how long she must stay. Thank the goddesses the information was free. If she was to stay for more than a few days then she might just save her rupees, buy a blanket and sleep on the King of Red Lions instead. She had only ever slept on it once discounting that time she was unconscious on it, draped across the chest compartment after their first meeting with Ganon and that one time, she and Link where they took turns sprawled out on it’s tiny deck and the other sat up and kept watch for her pirate ship which they had lost sight of in the fog.

Tetra’s head tilted a degree to the right at the boy’s wink, again struck by something but not knowing what. It was rather frustrating really but not something she would dwell on right now when there were things of more importance such as finding out where exactly she was.

She followed the boy across the road, still scanning the inn with a curious eye and to the inn’s door… her steps slowed and she caught Sheik’s sleeve, pulling for his attention. The captain’s dark blue eyes widened as she recognised the sign beside the door. Tetra pointed at the inn’s logo. “That’s… it’s not quite the same but it does bear similarities… isn’t that the...”

    The wings! The...the Triforce?!

“Is this inn from our world as well?” How in all of the Great Sea can an island capable of such giant complexes remain unknown to anybody in her parts of the sea?!

"No, it has to be a blade," replied Shiek, chuckling a bit at Tetra's own amused tone as well as at the mental image of just what a hammer would do to a Gossip Stone. "A hammer will actually squash them flat before they bounce back into their true shape. It doesn't seem to hurt them, but the don't say anything saving making a funny sound if you hit them with it." The disguised princess had heard about this unique trait of Gossip Stones from Impa long ago, but she still found it incredibly random and humorous the first time that her guardian had shown it to her in person.

At Tetra's remark and question, Sheik nodded to her and motioned for her to follow her over as she stated, "The actual number of people there changes from time to time since it's more where people live instead of stay temporarily like most inns, but at any one time, at least two hundred people could stay here, more if rooms are shared. There are fifty rooms on each of the four floors, making it two hundred all together. Right now though… there are probably about forty to fifty people here, including the inn staff."

Although she herself had been the one to wink to Tetra, Sheik still sensed something incredibly familiar once her descendant tilted her head ever so slightly to the right. It wasn't quite the same as the connection she felt with Neri, but just maybe, it was related to the fact that she and the pirate captain shared the same spirit. Was this similar to the feelings that Link and Link had experienced after they had first met each other? Sheik had asked them about those sensation before, but even though she had fully understood their answers, it was still incredibly intriguing to her, and she made a mental note to ask them about it later as well now that she could describe a comparable one herself.

Sheik led the way across the road, soon making her way towards the front door, all the while making sure to keep a decent pace since Tetra was still studying the outward design of the inn. They had just barely made it to the front door when she perked up slightly, feeling her left sleeve caught and being tugged by the older girl. Blinking as she stopped and turned around to Tetra, Sheik looked to her widened eyes before following both her gaze and pointing finger to the logo on the sign next to the door. Taking in a slight breath herself at realizing just what Tetra was seeing, the disguised princess sighed silently through a soft smile… the Triforce might not have been known all across the reaches of the Great Sea, but that her descendant had felt comfortable to even bring it up to her… that definitely made Sheik feel good.

"Yes… it is," said Sheik, turning back to Tetra with a nod and a knowing look. Gesturing to the sign herself, she added, "The inn isn't quite from our world, but it seems to have originally been before it was given some serious upgrades. … Come on, let's go inside."

At that, Sheik continued on in through the front door, making sure to hold it open for Terta as they both crossed the threshold. She had brought the pirate captain here, and now… it was time for her to facilitate her own reunion of two friends much the way the older Link had done for her upon her own arrival here.
