Ugh, Science. Isn't That Supposed To Be Sector Seven's Thing?

Phew... Back at last. This lab was preeeeetty far away, huh? It took Hazama a lot of walking just to get there, and he had to stop for a bit because he just needed to rest. Nothing too lengthy, but he was carrying a lot of stuff, after all. After a while, however, he arrived back at the Unicode Tundra, or in layman's terms, giant patch of snow and ice that actually happens to be very cold if you're wearing just a suit. No big deal, though. A bit of ice and snow was never all that bothersome to Hazama. Wouldn't you agree, Major Kisaragi?

After a few minutes of walking in the Tundra, Hazama sensed his Ars Magus from a distance. He was near the area, it would seem. his primary focus was to rebuild the main room. When he did that, the other rooms would rebuild themselves. Metaphorically, of course, unless there were robots he could program to help him out. He was pretty good with that, robotics. Let's just hope he could actually find some, or at least the parts to build them. Anything to turn that phrase up there from metaphoric to literal would be fairly handy in the long run.

Guess luck was a factor, eh?

Sliding down and removing the snow in his way using Ouroboros, Hazama reached the door he had sealed and broke the seal, returning that Ouroboros chain to him. He then entered the building, looking around. "Sure gained a lot of dust in the time I was gone. Guess I spent too much time snooping around town. Heh." He put his hand on his hat as he walked through the room towards the main generator. Smoked, as he remembered it. This was going to take SOME rewiring... that was, if the wires were left.

So he got to work. He first popped off the hatch covering the key electronics behind the generator. "Huh, not in all THAT bad shape. I've gotta give credit to whoever made this metal! They suuuuure know how to protect things behind it." And they did. Props to Lord Ridley, seriously. He knew what was up regarding protection, even from an explosive blast like the one that had totalled THIS place. And that blast had been tough enough to kill Metroids, as well.

Hazama tinkered away, attempting to fix things with his Ars Magus as well as the tools he purchased. Ars Magus was actually fairly helpful with things; it was mostly magic, after all. So he was able to use it to replicate most tools, which meant he only needed an odd few. Hence his visit to Jo's shop! Thank you, Zurg.

He'd undoubtedly be a long while.

Hazama gazed. He gazed upon his masterpiece. By that, he meant the first room. This first room had taken the first month to rebuild using the materials he'd been able to find, then he'd started putting together little Armagus robots he merely referred to as 'helpers'. You could probably guess what they did; they helped him put things together, as well as find things he himself had missed. It was pretty handy, being a leading master at using Armagus. The NOL had governed the entire world for a reason, you know?

In fact... in the past three months, a great deal of the technology in the cave had been rebuilt. He'd built it in the same way that Relius and himself had built the Cauldrons inside the Hierarchical Cities, too. As of such... he'd turned one of the larger rooms that he'd found into a Cauldron. Or, he was in the process of doing so. He still had yet to actually connect it to the Boundary, but he would do so when he'd finished building it. Building an Azure Grimoire, or a BlazBlue. It's what he'd done originally to combat the Master Unit, and it was what he was doing now solely for the purpose of stirring up a little fear and a little despair. Best of both worlds, y'know?

"Bravo, braaaaaavo! I've really gotta take my hat off to you. Nice work, helpers. I know I programmed you, but you sure did a good job building the Cauldron!" Not as good a job than the one, say, Relius would have done, but a good job nonetheless. Hazama looked over the Cauldron, impressed by its splendour and its likeness to the original Cauldrons used by the Hierarchical Cities before Ragna the Bloodedge came along and decided to start fucking around with them. Hell, Ragna had one on his arm. The Cauldron had a great many uses!

The primary one? Using souls to smelt blades and exploring the Boundary. Of course, Hazama didn't think he'd need any souls for this one. He had a hunch... a hunch that he wasn't the only person from his world that was existing here. A hunch that someone... or was it, something, had followed him through the portal and was awaiting a chance to reform. To reform out of will... hoping that Ragna the Bloodedge was in the world. He wasn't, to Hazama's knowledge, but the green-haired snake-fellow believed that this thing would reform anyway...

    Just in case.

Looking around, Hazama was actually pretty proud of his work. He'd used his resources well, and from his first resources he'd gained more resources. It was a Minecraft-esque thing, except he was building with post-space-age technology and he was able to create robots to help him build. Also, there were no Creepers, which was a very handy thing when building something important!

"Nearly done... and when we are, we'll raise hell! Ahahahahahahahaha!" Hazama laughed, clutching his hat as he doubled over at the thought of causing pain and suffering. He was going to enjoy wrecking the shit out of Portal Breach.

He was going to have an absolutely fantastic time.

Wow... despite his predictions, that Cauldron had taken a lot longer to finish than he'd thought. It was surprisingly a lot harder than when Relius wasn't around... that guy could work Cauldrons like magic. Wouldn't you agree, Phantom? Hehehehehehehe. Without Relius here, and with the help of nothing but a mere few aiding robots that only knew what they were doing about half the time despite being programmed by Hazama and a few heavy machines that had been crafted to lift large objects, the Cauldron was finally... complete. The room was filled with a white mist that covered the floor, presumably having emanated from the Boundary, which is what the Cauldron doubled as an entrance/exit to/from. Hence its second name, The Gate.

"A perfect replica of the Sheol Gate... absooooooolutely fantastic! Ehehehehehehehe!" Hazama clutched his hat as he laughed maniacally. "Ladies aaaaaand gentlemen! The show will begin soon, so hold onto your hats! For now, we wait! We wait for she who will form from her own will! We wait for you, Sword of the Imperator!" He held his arms out as he shouted, looking crazed. As he did so... the Gate opened and the true Cauldron became visible inside the Gate, as well as the mist disappearing as it was sucked into the open Gate.. It was empty... for now. Hazama suspected that would change soon, however...

Hold onto your hats indeed... this party was going to be a good one. Hazama just needed to wait to see if his gamble would pay off... if it didn't, he was gonna need to use some more of this material to make one of what he was after. Even then, creating a Nox Nyctores? That'd take more and more months. Let's just hope the gamble pays off...

    Time would tell.
