Lawrence almost wished he still had that marshmallow, he kind of wanted to throw it at Jo again. "Decadent moments, hmm? Who said I was trying to hide it? I'll even tell you what the daydream you knocked me out of was about: getting a very thorough cleaning session from a certain horned monarch over there. It has been quite a while since the last time, after all..."

Ohoho, the butler could be very shameless indeed if he really put his processors to it . . . though at the moment he could probably blame his slight tipsiness and steadily lowering charge level.

Meanwhile, it seemed Prixlezub took some offense to having Zurg's feet on his chin. The monarch's punishment? Having his feet licked by the car demon's fiery tongue. The yelp from Zurg in response was pretty loud, but given the contact was very quick, it didn't look like his feet had taken much damage. Lawrence did have the Chronoscepter with him in case of any emergencies, but it wouldn't be needed here.

The butler yawned faintly again, teetering on the edge of sleep mode. It was a good thing he'd made himself comfortable already; he would likely fall asleep in the next minute or two.

By now Jo was halfway to Sleepville, so she wasn't very coherent for much of anything. She might have grumbled something about decadent moments and whatnot, but it was surely all sleep-deprived bubbling. Jo snorted upon recognizing Lawrence's voice and merely rolled over, her backside purposely directed at him. Keep it up and you were going to need more than just a cleaning session, pal. Don't tempt the powers that be because they were something pretty fierce! "Kev, you might as well go make wife with all the men on Portal Breach..." the mechanic lazily slurred. He practically flaunted his invisible lips left and right, anyway.

And what was that awful sucking sound!? Jo firmly pressed her pillow overhead and curled up, more grumbling ensuing. Craters, it must be something about Prixlezub and Big Z... Had to be. Fortunately she tuned out and concentrated on listening to the bonfire's crackling flames, but that could only go so far. Just as she was about to finally pass into the Sandman's domain and enjoy a cozy night's sleep, the worst thing happened -

Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap!

"Grhghghgngnn..." Talk about a rude wake-up call. Jo sunk further into the sleeping bag and assumed her final form, growling to say, "Now you want into this thing?" Colour her incredulous. But alas! She supposed she should, because Big Z would either never let her be or he'd really sleep on the grass and catch a mild cold. With choices like that and no other alternatives in sight, the mechanic begrudgingly slithered out from the bag and rolled onto the cool meadow grass. Well, hot stuff? You best get into that bag before she reclaims it in the name of sleep and all that is warm. You know how she was once Jo was deep in her slumber.

See, Zurg? See? Listen to Prixlezub, he knew what was up! Though Zurg seemed to be getting a little annoyed at this point. They probably sounded like nagging harpies. 'CAW, CAW, DON'T DIE' 'CAW, CAW, DEATH IS BAD!' 'CAAAW'. But they nagged only because they loved him!~ If they didn't care about him they'd let him go running off and die repeatedly to his heart's content. He was content to watch Zurg and Prixlezub in the meantime, especially as Prixlezub seemed to take offense to Zurg rubbing his face with his feet. "I'm with Prixlezub, that's kinda gross." Just imagine what may be lurking in those toes!

Though perhaps Prixlezub was overreacting...his eyes widened as the demon opened his mouth, heat waves surging from his maw as they got terribly close to the purple feetsies. A line of fire snaked its way out of Prixlezub's mouth, Kev recognizing a time or two when he felt the lash of such an appendage. Whatever awaited Zurg's feet, Zurg didn't seem to have any fear. No devouring was to be had, and instead the demon lashed the feet with a lick, Kev burying his head into his sleeping bag like a turtle back into its shell. "Yeesh!" That had to hurt!

His eyes darted briefly to Lawrence, raising a tad at finding out Lawrence's own little...fantasy. He had been daydreaming about Zurg giving him a little cleaning? That was certainly an insight into the robot's mind. Zurg was released and rather than go immediately to Jo, he came to Kev instead. Kev's head poked out of the sleeping bag again, though he gave him a perplexed little look as he...brought his burnt feet into his own mouth. "...I never knew you were that flexible." Tonight was a night of discoveries, apparently.

Jojo wrote:"Kev, you might as well go make wife with all the men on Portal Breach..."
He sent her a slightly annoyed grunt.

Put Your Feet Back In wrote:"Your husband is every male in the Breach, was it? Well, hope you like making wife with Megamind because you two are just perfect for each other~!"
A decidedly more annoyed grunt. "Do I need to remind you guys that I have a lady in that cottage? I was kidding! Marriage is silly, and Megamind can't compare to my Keptoya! He doesn't have enough hair." Hmph! He seized for a moment as that little mental image of Megamind and himself in a very intimate embrace surged through his mind like lightning. He shivered. "Damn you Zurg..." One day you would pay for putting that image in his mind!

Zurg walked back over to Jo, Kev laying himself down on the ground and getting comfy while the love birds got ready for sleep. If he had nightmares, you were going to hear aaall about them, Zurg. Every sordid little detail! That would be the price to pay for those mental images, was letting Zurg live them with him! Ahahahaaa! With an evil snicker, Kev's eyes closed again and he began to nod off. "Mmm..."

Overreacting? Maybe, but to hear the alien's shriek was well worth it. So it was considered an honor to have Zurg's toes wriggling all over his face, then it must be one as well to have the prince's tongue rasp over his soles by principle. Aside from a painful sting there was no real damage done to the monarch's sensitive feet, which were quickly stuffed into his very mouth once he retreated from the demon prince. Such a sight reminded him of familiar idiom used by mortals, but not so much that the prince wished to speak of it right now.

Enough had happened on this eventful evening, and now that the demon's little plan for ushering the alien back to his sleeping bag was accomplished, he contentedly tucked his claws beneath his chest. Chancing a small glance back at the purple alien he managed to catch his irritated glare while the prince's face wore nothing noticeable. Not a grin nor snarl crinkled the demon's face as he gave the alien one last gaze before speaking. "Goodnight to you as well, Zurg." He rumbled evenly, before looking out towards the grasslands. The rolling hills were but silhouettes against the deep purple night sky, twinkling with a mass of brilliant stars. Inwardly he wondered which of them could be the planet that held the tribe he had spent time with not too long ago.

While the rest were more interested in their sleep, the demon had plenty more hours to go before he would begin to feel the effects of fatigue. In the meantime, the prince dimmed his eyes and allowed himself a short while of meditation until it grew time to pack up and leave.

To continue being a pest or to finally retire for the evening... Decisions, decisions.

Lawrence was already fading off to dream of electric sheep; Kev had already been tormented enough this evening; Prixlezub was far too painful to bother; and Jo...? Well, that was a beast he absolutely didn't want to disturb - especially right before bedtime. Ah, seems the monarch had no choice either way. Zurg sent a smug chuckle Kev's way while keeping his eyes trained on a wriggling grub-Jo. Craters, that woman logged to hog all the warmth and covers... "Would you like me to sleep on the grass instead?" he asked, just a wee bit sarcastic. The answer was no, of course, as Jo didn't want to lose out on her so-called "space heater". The monarch patiently waited for her to fully worm out from the sleeping bag - his, mind you - before he nestled inside. Ahh... How considerate of Jo to keep it all toasty for him! Zurg idly kicked his legs to see if he had enough room and tried to become as situated as possible.

...This bag wasn't meant for two, you know. "Alright, I can't stretch out this thing any further. This is as good as it's going to get," he remarked. It was going to be a tight squeeze and Jo wouldn't be able to practice being a whirling dervish, but that last tidbit wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Yay, no hair in this mouth or a finger poking his eye tonight! "Whenever you're ready we can go to bed, Jo." And please let that be soon. Watching everyone else (except Prixlezub) drift off was incredibly tempting to follow suit.

    Kev wrote:"Damn you Zurg..."
Zurg looked up and blew a kiss his friend's way, making it a real wet one. "Love you too, my waifu~! Anyway, good night to everyone."

Meanwhile, Lawrence was at that point just on the edge of sleep where everything was pleasantly fuzzy and warm, where one would barely have a care in the world. He curled up a bit more in his sleeping bag, making himself a bit more comfortable before he finally decided to let himself drift off.

He barely heard Jo and Kev's comments to each other as his systems slowly dropped into standby, one by one. Nope, it was definitely sleepy-time for this butler, though he managed to say one last thing. "Hmm, good night..."

Lawrence's optics dimmed and slid shut not long afterward, having finally gone into sleep mode.

Weh weh weh... No, Jo didn't want Big Z to sleep on the grass. The moment he went into his sleeping bag and heated it up like a fat cat - the fattest - was the moment Jo went right back into it. She wormed her way into the tight squeeze feet-first and soon was appeased, her body sucking up all the warmth it could allow. Yeeeees... This shall do very nicely, Glorified Space Heater. With a small yawn the mechanic rested her cheek upon Big Z's chest and wrapped both arms around him, smiling. "Much better," she approved. Warm, laying on someone soft, and listening to a rhythmic thunder cloud in one ear, Jo was not long for this cold and dreary world. She has one last thing to do before drifting off, though!

"Good night, Lawrence; good night, Kev; good night Prixlezub; good night, Big Z." She had to say good night to everyone, because that's expected at a slumber party. Okay, now time for sleep. Jo planted a kiss on Big Z and finally let her body ease, the mechanic curling up.

Boy, tonight had been such a busy night... She couldn't wait to do it again sometime!
