Link wasn't sure who enjoyed the breakfast the most of the four of them… whilst his older nametwin had the added relief of it being his first meal since he returned, Zelda, Impa, and he himself were all very glad to have him back. In the end, it he figured that they were each enjoying it equally and in their own similar ways. He was all too happy to share that grin and nod with Zelda as whilst the food was quite good, the company was even better.

They all made quick work of the meal, and as Link nodded his gratitude to Impa for clearing up the dishes, he could not help but sigh contentedly at the fun time he was still sharing with Link and Zelda. At Impa's statement about him resting and staying here, Link caught the inviting glint for him that the Sheikah's red gaze also held, and he soon grinned even more broadly once he register the full meaning in that. Even if the older boy spent most for the day resting, that sounded like a fine idea to him. The four of them could just relax and take today for themselves! It was a perfect idea!

"Yeah… I know everything was still set from yesterday, so it would be easy for us to just take our own day here," said Link, nodding to the older boy as he hopped out of his chair. "Does that sound good?"

So as to prevent any chance of a protest from the Hero of Winds, Tatl quickly chimed in herself, adding, "And if anything really important happens, I can help take care of it. You could stand to take the day off."

Link don't believe he ever had a breakfast as delicious as this. He devoured everything on his plate and all the leftover toasts in the basket. Whether it was because he was just ravenous alongside his usual big appetite or if it really was so delicious he must eat it all, everything was perfect and he was smiling so much his cheeks were starting to hurt.

With undecipherable prompting noises coming from mouthful of food, he and the fairies told them all what happened last night. How nobody could see, hear or touch him. How nobody could remember him. How he went to the castle with Aya and many others. About each opponent he thought there, each fight, each room and he showed them the weapons he brought back and waved in the direction of the grasslands where they had reappeared after the fight.

When breakfast was over and the dishes cleared, the young boy slumped back in his chair, hands patting his stomach, content and out of words to say. All he could do was smile and trying not to fall asleep at the table where it's so wamr and familiar. At Impa's offer for him to stay here, Link perked up a bit and shook his head but a yawn interupted him mid-action.

He should get back to his room, take a shower and sleep but one look around the table and he knew he didn't want to leave yet. Not out the door, all the way to the stairs and going down to his room. His room was just underneath Impa's! It was so close yet to far at the same time. If only there was something like a trapdoor on Impa's floor that he could come and go out of... there's a thought!

Another yawn escaped him and he pushed the idea of connecting doorways between the Hyrulean rooms for a later date to discuss with his family. Neri rolled back off Zelda's head, pecked the princess lightly on the forehead then drifted over to Link's head. "You need to rest, Link. Let's just rest here. It'll be like an extended naptime with friends."

Which was very unmanly in Leaf's book on a normal day but special days like these they were totally the right thing to do because if the fairy imagined how unambushable they would be, he was perfectly okay with it. Plus, he was... maybe a bit tired and want to snuggle in the crook of an elbow for a doze as well.

"I'll go with you for his clothes. I know where he keeps them," Ciela volunteered. Though really, 'keeps' was an overstatement. Link kind of just throws his pyjamas on the bed once he changes out of them. It's always Neri who sometimes goes through the pain of cleaning up after him.

Link blinked at his friends then gave a laugh, reaching over to ruffle both Zelda's and the other Link's hair. How was he to say no now? He nodded, stifled another yawn and pointed at the bathroom. Can he take a shower here as well?

He knew he didn't really have to ask but he still did and even before an answer was given, he was already stumbling towards the bathroom.

The breakfast was indeed delicious, and the company that the Sage of Shadow was able to share it with made it all the better. The smiles were shared across the table, and the general feeling of calm, relief, and contentment that had settled over the room was very, very welcome.

Impa listened rather intently to the tale of what had happened just yesterday... it seemed that just as she had suspected, there had been a great deal more that had gone on that just the few days prior and the shades she could remember from the previous day. She was highly intrigued about this mystery castle that he had visited, and even more about the strange Nobodies they encountered. The weapons he had collected were quite impressive, and with the challenges that the Hero of winds had faced, Impa could tell that he had returned home not only in a better mental state than he had left, he also seemed to have regained the last of his strength that he had lost upon his journey to the Breach. The four of them had been working on steadily getting back to what power they knew they possessed deep within, as even though they kept their skills, abilities, and strength no matter what, some of their luck in battles had been a bit uncharacteristic. They were still themselves though and had each built back to far more of what they truly were, and hopefully, this latest jump for Link would prove to be a nice surprise for him once he was all rested up.

No matter what had transpired though, all that mattered was that Link was back. Their family was together again, and the Sheikah was determined to keep it that way.

Impa's soft smile to Link only deepened at the thoughtful suggestions that Zelda and the younger Link also gave to him, and she soon nodded to the Hero of Winds to echo their sentiments. Her gentle hold on the boy's shoulder tightened a touch as he started to shake his head in protest, and once he yawned mid-action, she met him with a knowing look. Her red gaze said more than any words could have here, and that look seemed to add to what his own fatigue and instincts told him. The wise words from Neri seemed to be the final touch for Link to decide that he did in fact want to stay... and given the way that all three of her charges' eyes lit up at that confirmation, the Sheikah was even more glad that she had voiced the idea.

And since was to truly be a relaxing day in... then Impa found herself very tempted to change back into her own pyjamas.

At Link's nod, point and silent question, Impa returned his nod with one of her own, right before stating, "Of course you can take a shower here, Link. Come, let's get you some towels."

Impa followed after Link, making sure that he did not lose his balance too much even in his tiredness, and soon moved to get him a couple of fresh, fluffy towels as he made his way there. Handing them to the lad, the Sheikah smiled once more as she noted, "Here you are... you take as much time as you need, but do be mindful not to stay in too long." After all, with as worn as he was, the hot shower could prove to be a bit more relaxing instead of refreshing. As soon as he was set though, Impa moved back towards the den, looking to make sure that things were extra set for their full day off.

Indeed, this was set to be one nice, low-key, and very much needed day off.

While she enjoyed the delicious breakfast with her family, Zelda was thoroughly enthralled by the tale of just what had happened to the older Link last night. Her face fell when it was explained how no one, not even Impa, had been able to see, hear, feel, or remember him… she felt bad and even a little guilty that she had fallen prey to the other side of that, and even though she knew she could not have done anything to help that, she still wished she could have. She wished she could have been able to do more for her friend… but even though none of them had been able to do more than leave his seat at the table open and be here to welcome him home, at the very least, he was back now. Link was back safe and sound, and their family could pick right back up as though nothing had happened.

After all, if anything did change, it would only be the added strengthening of their bond together.

Zelda was just as relaxed as both Link and Link by the end of the meal, and she could not help but feel especially happy at Impa's suggestion to the older boy. A full day of all of them relaxing and resting together… it sounded perfect. The Hero of Winds seemed to like the additional offers posed by Link and herself, although he did seem to still be caught up in a new wave of tired thoughts. That right there was just a bit more proof that it was best for him to stay.

Thankfully though, in addition to his own realization that he did not want to leave yet, his fairies were set to back up the idea of a day off together. Zelda closed her right eye and smiled at Neri's fairy peck, right before watching the Spirit of Wisdom fly over to Link as she insisted he stay here. The disguised princess shared a smile with the younger Link over the calling of this an extended nap time with friends, right before she gave Ciela a grateful nod. "Thanks Ciela. You and I can take care of that now."

Laughing a bit as the future Link ruffled her and Link's hair, Zelda quickly hopped up from her chair and waved for Ciela to follow her. As the older Link got set to take a shower, the disguised princess made certain to get his card key before she set off for the door. "Enjoy your shower, Link. We'll be back soon."

A short trip downstairs later, and both Zelda and the Spirit of Courage had arrived at his room, ready to retrieve his pyjamas from his bedroom. Moving through to his room, she could not help but giggle a bit at seeing where the clothing in question had been strewn onto his bed, but they were at least easy to locate. Quickly folding the blue crayfish shirt and orange trousers, Zelda picked up the pyjamas and headed back for the door, soon glancing to Ciela as she stated, "Thanks again for coming with me. I know these were easy to find, but I do appreciate it." After all, it was especially good to have her by her side just in case if she had had to look for them whilst down here!

Plucking up Link's slippers as well, Zelda soon returned upstairs, moving to set the pyjamas just inside of the bathroom door so that her friend could easily get to them once he had showered. Once he'd finished that, then they'd be set for the full day of relaxation and rest ahead of them.

The only thing that Link enjoyed more than the food of this breakfast was that he got to share it with his three closest friends. Even though he did not fully remember the events of the day before, he was beyond thrilled that the older Link had returned to them, and the good mood that settled over the table was one that he was very happy to hold onto for a long time. That air remained even as the Hero of Winds and his three fairies began to tell Impa, Zelda, and himself just what all had happened. This Link could only stare in disbelief at the idea that the older boy had so thoroughly faded from existence… that the three of them could not remember much less interact with him… it was so had to imagine given their closeness. He felt a little guilty for it even though he himself could not help it, but the important thing was that his best friend was back now. That was all that mattered.

Link listened with great interest as the older Link, Ciela, Leaf, and Neri relayed the tales of the enemies he faced at that strange castle, the awesome new weapons he had brought back, and of course how everything had wound up getting resolved. The three of them might not have been able to help out directly, but at least they had been able to welcome him home properly. And now that the meal was over, it was time for them to spend the rest of the day relaxing together!

The older Link seemed to want to object Impa's offer at first, but between his own realizations, this Link's and Zelda's additions to the idea, and Neri's insistence, he soon settled into agreeing to it. Exchanging a smile with the disguised princess at this, the Hero of Time soon laughed as their friend moved to ruffle their hair. Shaking his head a bit to settle his bangs again, Link grinned and nodded to the older boy, right before he too turned towards the door.

Waving to Link and Impa, Link stated, "I'm going to go make sure the rest of the staff knows we're going to be in here today. I'll be right back."

At that, Link and Tatl proceeded to make their way downstairs, and a few relayed messages to Sanji, Rosa, the janitor, and a couple others later, and the two were set to return to Impa's room. The staff had all been very understanding despite not knowing the full story behind the much needed day off, and the general idea at this points was to carry on as normal. They also agreed that in the event that they needed any additional help with something, they could contact Impa or the younger Link, and in short order, the Hero of Time was on his way back upstairs to spend the day taking it easy with his family.

Link grinned at catching Zelda again, as well as at noting that Impa had decided to change back into her own pyjamas. Now they were truly set for a full day inn, and hopefully the older Link's shower had given him just the final dose of relaxation that he needed.

Post by Wind Waker Link on Mon Apr 29, 2013 7:25 am

It was good thing Impa had followed him to the bathroom to ensure he didn’t topple over because halfway there, he had yawned, lost balance and almost fell over a pot. Thankfully, his feet corrected themselves quick enough and instead of hitting the pot, he swerved around it and stumbled awkwardly as he regained balance. He smiled sheepishly and accepted the fluffy towels before he made the rest of the way to the bathroom this time with careful steps and not a single loss of balance.

Take his time and don’t stay too long. Right, okay, let’s hope he doesn’t fall asleep in the shower.

As it was, he didn’t fall asleep. The moment the water hit him, he was slightly more awake and he sighed, sliding down to the floor and happy to sit for the first two minutes under the running water and not do anything.

Over to the fairies, Ciela temporarily took Neri’s spot on Sheik’s hair as they made their way downstairs. She could fly, oh she had all the energy to fly and she wasn’t that affectionate like Neri but after the last few days, even the usually feisty fairy wanted to stay close to her friends. They found the boy’s pyjamas exactly where Ciela thought they would be: on his bed exactly the same place they had left it yesterday morning. Whilst Zelda gathered the clothes, Ciela rolled off and dove into a chest of drawers. What? The boy needs underwear to change into, right? Whilst they were the bestest of friends and they were certain neither of them would mind fetching each other’s und-- scrap that, unless in dire circumstances, Link would send Neri to fetch Zelda’s underwear before he himself even think about it. So...yes... whilst they know ZELDA wouldn’t mind fetching underwear for any of her friends, this Link would still feel a teeniest bit awkward from it.

Why are we talking about underwear all the sudden?!

    ONWARDS!

Ciela tucked said article of clothing amongst the pyjamas and off they went back upstairs with Link’s slippers as well. The fairy sighed, “It’s such a chore to go all the way out to the stairs when we’re all just above and below one another. Maybe we can install a metal ladder outside the windows and you can climb up like us fairies could just fly up?”

When the fairy and princess found themselves back upstairs once more, they would have found Leaf throwing a few more fuel to the fire roaring in the fireplace with a surprisingly lack of mad cackling that usually accompanied him when he did this (i.e. BUUUURN, MWAHAHAHA BURN BABY, BURN!). Neri, a fairy who hates being idle, went about going through all of her Link’s weapons, doing a stock take on the arrows and bombs before propping each equipment up against the wall, out of the way.

Link himself emerged out of the bathroom, yawning once again and towelling dry his hair. His hand reached out to ruffle Zelda’s hair in thanks for fetching his clothes. He tilted his head and blinked at her then laughed and just pulled her into another quick hug, again grateful to be back and remembered.

“Aa!” gasped the boy suddenly and he ran back to the bathroom to return with his green hero’s clothes folded neatly. See, if they had a trap door to his room, he’d have just lifted it and dropped his clothes down with nary a second thought. Actually.... Link handed the clothes to Neri would placed it by his equipment. Link removed the towel from his head, blond hair sticking up every direction possible and he tapped a slippered foot on the floor. Could they...? He wasn’t sure. Would Impa and Zelda mind? It’s one thing to drop into their room and hang out as much as they did. It’s another thing to have doors made to connect their rooms. It’s a whole other level of privacy.

Throwing the towel over one shoulder, Link caught Impa and Zelda’s eye. “Um...” he pointed at the floor, faltered, not sure sure how to ask this, yawned then decided to just charge on ahead. He mimed hammering a hole in the floor and then the climbing of a ladder before ending with an uncertain shrug of his shoulders.

Post by Impa on Fri May 03, 2013 2:14 pm

Impa returned Link's sheepish smile with a warm one of her own, right before he took the towels and moved through to the bathroom. Satisfied that her charge was set for the time being, the Sheikah soon moved through to her room so that she too could change back into her pyjamas.

In very little time, Impa had changed from her trademark armored outfit to her own sleepwear, a comfortable grey sleeveless shirt and a loose pair of black trousers with a red Eye of the Sheikah embroidered on the upper left side, right before she reappeared in the den. She was back well before any of her three charges were, so with a smile in the direction of the sound of the still running water, she went about checking to see that the den would be especially cozy for their day off. With all of the furniture properly adjusted, the blankets numerous and strategically placed, and the inviting fireplace crackling already, everything appeared to be in good order. As Leaf tended to the fire and Neri got the older Link's inventory taken care of, Impa soon moved through to make some hot chocolate for the three children to enjoy once they were all back and settled.

Zelda was the first to return, and some minutes after she had set the older Link's pyjamas just inside the bathroom for him, the younger Link had returned as well. Once the Hero of Winds had emerged from his shower, Impa could not help but smile at seeing just how thoroughly refreshed the boy appeared to be. A quick hair ruffle and hug exchange with Zelda later, and he had dashed back to the bathroom to retrieve his neatly folded hero's clothes, all whilst seemingly mulling over whatever was on his mind. The Sheikah regarded him curiously as he tapped a certain spot on the floor with his foot, and she caught his eye with her red gaze once he glanced back up to her and Zelda.

"What is it, Link?" Impa asked as the boy paused after addressing them, right before she watched him mime building something around that spot on the floor, climbing up a ladder, and then shrugging his shoulders uncertainly. Raising her eyebrows as she put the parts of his charade together, the Sage of Shadow's expression slowly shifted to a rather pleased one, complete with a thoughtful glint in her eyes as well as a confident grin. Now that was a fine idea if she'd ever heard one…

"A hatch connecting your room to ours? Link, that's a brilliant idea," stated Impa, folding her arms and nodding approvingly to the young hero. "I had actually contemplated further modifying certain aspects of our rooms for us, including possibly connecting them to whatever extent you boys were most comfortable with, but save a couple of more general conversations with Zelda, I had not yet got the proper chance to broach the subject."

Pausing to exchange a happy glance with Zelda, Impa soon looked between her, Link, and Link, before stating, "I think it's a fine plan and would be more than okay with it, provided that all of you are would like to go ahead with it."

Post by Zelda/Sheik on Fri May 03, 2013 2:49 pm

Sheik had been very amused and more than a bit touched by the way that Ciela had taken to resting atop her head on their short trip downstairs. She understood her reasoning for doing so, but she was still happy for it nonetheless.

Once she had folded the pyjamas in question, Zelda turned and had been just about to fish out a pair of clean underwear for Link, but Ciela appeared to have beat her to the task. She nodded her thanks to the Spirit of Courage as she tucked the garment in between the pyjamas she herself was holding, right before she broke out into an amused grin as a memory of a certain shopping trip came back to her. She did not mind fetching underwear for either of her friends of course, but that first trip had still been a rather amusing one… as had the older Link's reaction to recalling it once he had learned her true identity.

Giggling a little to herself at those nostalgic thoughts, Sheik soon moved to return back upstairs, right before glancing up to Ciela at the yellow fairy's words as they headed through the third floor hallway. Her expression shifted to a sympathetic yet thoughtful one as she pondered the idea, right before stating, "It is… and maybe. That might be a bit precarious even with our own skills, though… perhaps something similar to that could work out." Now that possibility brought the disguised princess back to some previous conversations she had had with Impa regarding new improvements to any of their three rooms. The three rooms had all been modified to a reasonable degree ever since they had all moved in them, but something like that might be the biggest modification since the loft that her guardian had installed in their room. It was definitely something to consider, though…

Once she was back in her room and had set Link's clothes down in a good spot for him, Zelda was even happier to see both that Impa had changed into her pyjamas and that the younger Link had returned from his own task downstairs. Some minutes later, and the older boy rejoined them… his posture and expression alone proved that the hot shower had done him a world of good, and the disguised princess was very glad for that.

Laughing slightly as Link reached up to ruffle her hair, Zelda soon found herself caught in another hug from the older boy. She moved to hug him back tightly to help convey just how glad she was for him to be back as well, and once he pulled back form the hug, she grinned and reached forward to ruffle his hair even as it still sat underneath the head towel.

No sooner had she done that though than had her friend gasped and darted back to the bathroom. Zelda blinked in confusion for a moment before smiling once more as he returned with his neatly folded hero's clothes, and apparently something else on his mind. As the older boy handed his main outfit to Neri, he seemed to study a spot on the floor of the den for a few moments before looking to her and Impa and miming something. He was… building something? And climbing? As she put the actions together, a broad grin slowly formed across Zelda's features. Link had had an even better idea than the rough ones that she, Impa, and just now Ciela had thought of! A trap door! It would be just like some of the secret passages in the castle!

Zelda's grin only grew at Impa's positive response on the matter, and after exchanging an excited smile with the younger Link, she quickly looked back to her guardian at her glance before exclaiming, "I think it's a great idea! It would be easy to build, and more than that, it would help out a lot with visits, adventures, and anything else!"

Shortly after he had returned to Zelda and Impa's room, the older Link had emerged from the shower, now fully refreshed and squeaky clean. Link laughed a little at seeing his display of gratitude for Zelda for having retrieved his clothes, and once the older boy ran back to get his hero's clothes, he himself stepped a bit closer to the disguised princess. He was a bit confused once Link returned and moved to study the spot on the floor of the den. It was almost as though he had picked up a Stone of Agony of his own and had suddenly discovered a new secret…

But the floor was just the same as it had always been, right? And there was nothing new in Link's room below Zelda and Impa's… unless…

Once the older boy began to act out hammering something, making a hole in the floor, climbing up, and capping it all off with a shrug, this Link stood there for a few moments, taking in just what his latest pantomime meant. His blue eyes slowly widened as the pieces fell into place, and his grin soon mirrored that of the disguised princess. A trap door! It was perfect! If they had a trap door connecting the older Link's room to Zelda and Impa's, then visiting him would be easier than ever! Whether it was for a quest, a meal together, or a random message being delivered, Link could not believe how much sense this idea made!

Even better, Impa liked it! She voiced her own approval before Zelda echoed her own excited agreement with the idea, and after sharing that happy look with the disguised princess, Link nodded eagerly himself at the Sheikah's curious glance. It wasn't his room that was being discussed here, but he was still honored to have been included in the thought behind it.

"Huh… that's a pretty good idea, actually," mused Tatl. "You guys aren't that far, but sometimes it's such a pain just to go all the way out into the hall and downstairs, especially considering that you live right below them."

"Yeah, exactly… I like the idea too! A trap door sounds really neat!" And now… maybe he could finally voice an idea he himself had had a while back… just like this potential trap door, it was something that he had thought of but had not yet had a good chance to bring it up. Taking a deep breath as thought to steel himself, Link pressed forward too.

"Um… if we build a trap door to connect Link's room to yours, would it be all right if maybe… maybe we could build another door to connect my room as well?" Link asked, glancing uncertainly between Impa and Zelda. Even though he read the pleased glanced from the Sheikah and disguised princess as a definite positive, he still smiled a bit sheepishly before adding, "I mean, if that's all right with the two of you that is… I know neither Link nor I want to impose. But… I think both could be pretty fun and useful."

"True, it is a little of an unnecessary danger," grumbled Ciela, flattening once more on the princess' head and dare we say almost humming from how content she was feeling still. So comfy was she that it wasn't until they were back in the Hyruleans quarters again and Zelda had set down Link's clothes that Ciela rolled off and drifted over to rest at the top corner of an armchair, waiting for a sleeping format to be figured out before she joined them. When they were downstairs in Link's room, the Spirit of Courage had considered asking Zelda to bring up the three handsized cushions the fairies tend to rest on (though more often that not, that found themselves sleeping with Link on the bed than their cushions) but decided against it. She wouldn't say it aloud because she figured actions said enough already but she was sure she and the other two Spirits would prefer to sleep with their friends today instead of on individual cushion-beds.

When Link suggested the idea of making a doorway between the two rooms, Ciela swivelled around. "That's even easier than us fairies flying in and out windows."

Link nodded, smiling even broader and nodding enthusiastically that they were on board with the idea. It did made him curious as to what Impa and Zelda had talked about in their general conversations regarding room modifications.

Structural modifications to rooms were not against inn rules as long as you got the staff's agreement and expressed an interest in staying long term. Here, they had not only the staff agreement, neighbour agreement but they're also not going to move out any time soon if ever.

If they had doorways between their rooms, visiting each other and dropping over for meals would be so much eas--aa--ha--haoooooh~ Farore, he was tired but this talk was interesting too.

He laughed sheepishly before crossing his legs and sinking down to sit on the floor, blinking blearily. He waved and smiled an apology but he really couldn't stay standing anymore without starting to wobble back and forth from exhaustion.

Link turned to glance at Impa and Zelda's room, mind floating to soft beds, pillows and blankets. How would all of them fit on two beds though? They could put them together? He stifled a yawn and turned his gaze back to his friends, smiling goofily up at them having missed everything that was said during the time he had his mind on the beds. His eyes drifted past them and landed on the fire and his smile extended. It's warm! And cosy!

Aa, no, focus on the talking. What were you saying?

"Indeed it would be," stated Impa, nodding at Ciela's assessment of the idea. She was very happy to hear both Zelda and the younger Link's enthusiastic responses as well, and at the Hero of Time's own question, the Sheikah simply exchanged a broad smile and nod with the disguised princess before replying. Placing a hand on the boy's shoulder, Impa added, "That would suit us perfectly, Link… I think it's a wonderful idea, and after we've all had a good day of rest today, I can help us get started on that first thing tomorrow."

Impa had not discussed too terribly much with Zelda regarding potential room modifications… really, the primary things had just been new and different shelves and other aspects to help make the rooms feel even more like home. Since they had all got more and more settled at the Stock Pot Inn, it seemed that the three rooms had taken on a perfect fusion between the default modern styles of them as well as a more familiar Hyrulean style… and with each small change that any of the four of them had made, the rooms had only begun to feel more and more like a proper home.

At catching the older Link's tired yawn, Impa smiled sympathetically to him, and that look only softened once he moved to sit on the floor. The poor lad was exhausted… and whilst she herself had not got the best of sleep last night given a subconscious worry over him as well as the simultaneous conflict with her own memories, she still had more than enough stamina to help get all four of them set for the duration of the day. Now then came the question of just how best to get all of them situated…

Between noting Link's glance towards the lofted bedroom and his even more evident smile that appeared at focusing on the fireplace, the Sage of Shadow had just the idea.

"It's all right, Link… I've got you," stated Impa, right before deftly picking the boy up and holding him securely in her left arm. As she made certain that he was steady between that hold and the side of her torso, she shared a strong nod with him before moving through towards the main grouping of furniture in the den. "Now let's see what we can do about getting a cozy spot set for us…" Placing her right hand on the arm of the large, plush sofa, Impa began to pull it out from its main position, soon moving it to a spot right in front of the fireplace. Striving to keep it just the perfect distance from the crackling flames so that her charges would not get too warm or stay too cold, she dragged it to just the right place before looking it over and giving it a nod of approval. Impa soon pulled the comfortable recliner into place as well, making sure that it was close and just to the front left side of the couch. Each of them had a good spot now, and with the L-shape of cushy furniture she had made, their nest in front of the fireplace was nearly complete. "There we are… and one more thing…"

At that, Impa picked up some of the soft blankets and pillows she had checked on earlier, right before setting each of them on the couch, making sure that there were plenty for Link, Zelda, and Link. Her soft smile deepened slightly right before she looked to the young hero that she still held in her arm, soon noting, "I think that should do us all nicely… wouldn't you agree?"

A moment later, Impa very carefully set the older Link down on the couch, making certain to give him just the spot that would require minimal adjustment on his part for once Zelda and the younger Link joined him. As it was, it appeared that her three charges would have a very cozy place to spend the majority of their relaxing day in… and she was set to do just the same in the chair she had pulled next to the fireplace.

"I'm sure we can figure something out," noted Sheik, smiling even more as Ciela flattened herself against the top of her head. The disguised princess might have been the only one of the three kids here to not have a fairy to call her own, but she was still very honored and glad for the bonds she had been able to forge with all four of them. She and Neri might have held that extra connection given their own respective force of Wisdom, but she was equally close to Ciela, Leaf, and Tatl... just in a unique way for each of them, of course.

As though the older Link's idea could not have got any better, the Link from her time managed to make it just that by adding to it with his own suggestion. A trapdoor between her room and Link's room, and then a regular door that connected her room to the Hero of Time's? It was perfect... absolutely perfect. Zelda was too happy for words to respond properly, but thankfully she was still able to share a smile and nod with Impa before her guardian responded positively for the both of them. Only once she found her voice again was the disguised princess able to look between Link and Link before noting, "I agree with Impa... it would really come in handy for just about anything, and I'm sure we could make that trap door work even better than those in Hyrule Castle."

Although both Link and Link seemed as keen about this discussion as she was, the older boy's fatigue from the past 24 hours was quickly catching up to him, as proven even further by his mighty yawn and subsequent sitting on the floor. As Impa took that as a chance to shift the conversation and pick Link up so as to help get him situated for their day in, Zelda caught a glance from her guardian before she herself moved through to the kitchen to pick up the now perfectly cooled hot chocolate that the Sheikah had prepared for them. She was set to attempt to coordinate holding all three mugs, but right when she picked up the first two, she glanced over to see that the younger Link had followed after her to grab his own. Sharing a grin with the Hero of Time, Zelda giggled a bit before heading back to the den, just in time to see how Impa had arranged the couch, recliner, and just some of their cushy pillows and blankets.

Now this was a veritable nest, one that looked so cozy it brought some of the disguised princess' own lingering tiredness back to the fore. She had masked it previously and the adrenaline rush from being reunited with the older Link had finally started to wane, but whilst she could function on less sleep than one might expect of a growing girl, Zelda had only got a few hours of sleep last night. Her own sleep had been slightly better and a bit more restful than Impa's had, but the idea of going back to sleep for the next good while was a very inviting idea.

Once Impa had set the older Link on the left side of the couch, Zelda moved around to hop into the middle spot of it, smiling sleepily to her friend as she offered him his mug of hot chocolate. "Here you go, Link... we can enjoy this before we get some sleep."

With a nod to the younger Link once he climbed into the seat to her right and a shared knowing glance with Impa, Zelda let herself relax against the couch right before taking a welcome sip of her own hot chocolate. Yes... this was just the thing to help see them to the rest they all needed now...

"Yeah, it sure would be," agreed Tatl, bobbing slightly at Ciela's words. She had to admit, whilst flying between any of the rooms was not bad or too much of a distance, being able to have a couple of shortcuts handy would definitely be something that she could see each of them enjoying for a number of reasons. At her own Link's suggestion, the Terminian fairy puffed up a bit in pride from the way that the boy had thought of that and mentioned it all on his own. Not bad considering the shorter amount of sleep he'd got last night.

Link's grin soon mirrored that Zelda's and Link's once it seemed that both Impa and the disguised princess liked his idea as well. Once the Sheikah placed her hand on his shoulder, the Hero of Time beamed up at her, nodding at her words before stating, "That sounds great, and I'll do everything I can to help!"

Soon laughing happily at Zelda's agreement as well, Link shared his happy smile with all of this friends before just like the older boy, he too succumbed to a yawn. Granted, his was not quite as fierce as that one of the Hero of Winds was, but it was still rather respectable and he just barely managed to catch it with his hand before chuckling a bit sheepishly himself. Thankfully though, between the tiredness that was rapidly returning to the surface for each of them as well as Impa's keep perception, it seemed that she had just the solution to help carry them to the next part of their day of rest. After the rough night's sleep he had got last night, Link was all too ready to enjoy that.

Link grinned a bit more once Impa picked up the older Link, but instead of following her lead, he instead turned to go to the kitchen with Zelda. In between his return to the room and the older boy's emergence from the shower, the Sage of Shadow had let him and the disguised princess know that she had just made some hot chocolate for each of them, although it had still had to cool for a bit. Now though, between their impending slumber and the amount of time that had passed he had a good feeling that that was just what Zelda had gone to retrieve.

Sure enough, he was right, and once she reached to grab two of the mugs, he moved to pick up his own. The two friends shared a smile at that, and Link's only grew at catching Zelda's soft giggle… yeah, this was just about as perfect as it could get.

In short order, both of them had returned to the den just in time to see the way that Impa had arranged the couch and cushy chair for them to all curl up in front of the fire. Only once the Sheikah had set the older boy down did Link follow Zelda's lead and climb up to take his own spot on the couch, soon sharing a tired albeit broad smile with his friends before he took a drink of his hot chocolate. Sighing in satisfaction from the sweet taste, he glanced back to Link and Zelda before noting, "Now we're all set… this will be the best day in yet."

As Tatl fluttered over to survey the increasingly cozy atmosphere, she couldn't help but chime in agreement. Yeah… this was just what they all needed.

Had he known Impa's worry for him resulted in her not having a good sleep, Link would have given her another hug before brushing a hand over her eyelids and then pushing her towards her bed. He haven't even thought they might be tired or had a bad night of sleep and the thought was even further from his mind when Impa suddenly picked him up.

"Hwa!" yelped the boy, surprised but not against the idea of being carried. He laughed, yawned and though he knew he didn't need to because the sage was more than strong enough to balance his weight and move furniture at the same time, he wrapped his arms around her neck and shoulder. He raised his eyebrows as she started moving the sofa from its usual position, not sure what she was trying for here. Were they moving the sofa into the bedroom so that they can put it against the beds? He was happy enough to sleep on the floor! Really!

    But the bedroom was...that...way..."Oh!"

The boy's hands tightened on Impa's shoulder. "Aa!" he sounded, beaming happily. They're napping by the fire? Another laugh escaped him shortly followed by a yawn that not only made him close his eyes but lean his head towards Impa's shoulder. Do them all nicely? That was an understatement. He was pretty sure it wasn't 'nicely' but more like 'perfectly'. "Mm!"

As he was set down, he smiled his thanks to Impa, tempted to just put his head against the arm rest and immediatly drop into dreamland. He stayed awake though and boy was he glad he did. Zelda and Link hopped onto the couch, hot chocolate in hand! First breakfast then shower and now hot chocolate followed shortly by a very, very long nap. He kicked off his slippers, letting them fall to the floor and curled his feet up under a blanket, nodding his thanks as he accepted his mug.

He blew at the drink's surface a little before drinking, sighing at its perfect blend of sweetness, creaminess, smoothness and temperature. Ciela settled on the back of the sofa beside her Link's head. Neri and Leaf opting to rest at the head of Impa's recliner. All three fairies were set to roll from their perch the moment sleep claimed Link and all three were determined to squeeze themselves into the nooks and crannies that was bound to appear the moment he pulled the blanket over his shoulders and curled asleep. Neri was however wondering if she could find a spot that was both against her own Link and also Zelda.

It seems like only Ciela was sharp enough to detect the tiredness in Zelda, Link and Impa. It wasn't particularly obvious but they all knew each other well enough to pick up these hints if they knew to look for them. She tilted her wings a little, soon catching Neri's attention. Without a word spoken between them, the two Spirits looked at their cosily seated family and wondered together why they would be tired when they just woke up.... unless... "Did you not sleep last night?" Ciela asked, blunt as always and the Hero of Winds' mug froze against his mouth. His eyes went wide and he lowered his mug to give them all a worried frown.

Neri slid off the head of the recliner and landed softly on Zelda's knee, looking from Link to Impa to Zelda and to the other Link then finally downwards to the princess' knee. Pieces came together in her mind and her voice when she spoke came out in a guilt ridden and apologetic mumble. "When did the memories fully return? How long were you all worried for?"

Impa smiled a bit at Link's surprise at being picked up, and that smile only deepened slightly at his tired laugh and subsequent wrapping of his arms around her. Once he caught just what she was aiming to do here, she stated, "That's right... this should be just the thing for us." As the lad leant his head into her shoulder, the Sheikah contuinued to easily move the furniture towards the fireplace, and once she had finished her task, she was rather glad to confirm that he approved of the new setup for the day. Returning Link's smile with one of her own, Impa nodded to him just before Zelda and the younger Link returned to the den.

Watching her three charges get settled on the couch with their three mugs of hot chocolate, Impa soon glanced over as Leaf and Neri took to the back of the recliner that she had also pulled in front of the fire. She had a very strong feeling that once the four of them were asleep, that the fairies were going to follow suit right along with them, and that was perfectly fine by her.

As for Ciela... it appeared that the Spirit of Courage had finally caught something that was only subtly evident in Zelda, Link, and Impa herself. At catching the pale yellow fairy's question, the Sage of Shadow looked to her with a sympathetic expression in her eyes and a soft smile, inwardly hoping that she could reassure the four of them that despite very little sleep, they had all got some, and they were still fine. Impa herself had caught the least sleep of the three of them combined, namely due to her own keen perception and Eyes of Truth constantly conflicting with the forces that had been at play... but that was something she was determined to keep entirely to herself. As a Sheikah, she could actually function on far less sleep than most, but that did not mean that she was not in need of a good bit of rest now.

"We did sleep... but it was admittedly a bit restless," noted Impa. "Subconsciously, we all knew that something was wrong, and that in turn affected our sleep last night."

Impa watched Neri as the Spirit of Wisdom floated over to Zelda's knee, her expression softening slightly as she looked to her. Her voice steady and true, the Sheikah responded, stating, "They all returned early this morning, roughly a couple of hours before you made your way back to the inn... I was the only one awake when that happened. We were concerned for you all, but even when the memories returned... I had a very good feeling for today, and was set to see you all arrive home safely."
