Ariana listened to Impa's answer, and she couldn't help but still find it all to be a lot of responsibility for someone so young. Though at least she had the other Sages to help. Ariana remembered how hard it was to have the sudden responsibility of being a werewolf thrust on her. It was not the same type of responsibility, not by a long shot, but it was still a hard thing to come to grips with and understand. The bad things that could happen if she slipped. And until she came to Portal Breach, she had no one to share that burden with. The thought made her smile a bit as she spoke again. "That must be a big help for her. To have you and the other Sages there for her." That was the best part of being in a group, she supposed. Once you joined a group, you no longer had to face things on your own. You had a support network. Her family used to be her support group but sometimes there are things you just can't share. She hugged her arms close to herself, rubbing them to warm herself.

"You have? Neat. How did they measure up to the real thing?" She asked curiously. From her own experience she knew that the movies were a little off about werewolves, and yet also right. Silver was a commonly known weakness, as was wolfsbane, but they always forgot mistletoe. The full moon also only triggered the first transformation, every transformation after could happen at any time. And then there was how the transformation itself actually looked.

Ariana looked back to Impa when she told her that she could take part in such an experience. "There are dungeons with traps like that here?" Ariana pondered it briefly before a light smirk grew on her face. "Guess I'm not too surprised. The way this place is, guess it makes sense there'd be a few dungeon filled traps here." Impa had been to some of them. "Were they...dangerous?"

The responsibility might have seemed like a lot for someone so young, but whether she was as young as 10 or even older than 17, Princess Zelda was more than capable of taking on the mantle of Leader of the Sages. She had always been mature beyond her years, with an inner wisdom that only seemed to grow over time as she herself did. Between the guidance from the Sheikah herself as well as the King, Zelda had already become a fine young lady, and even with anything that might meet her, she had a good number both in Hyrule and this world set to support her. Returning Ariana's smile with a soft one of her own, Impa noted, "I would like to think so. The princess is very capable on her own, but no matter what, she is never truly alone."

At Ariana's curious inquiry about the movies that she had happened to catch here, Impa chuckled slightly. "Well, the sentiment was the same, but whilst they measured up pretty well, I'm afraid they were a little off in some ways. Dungeons are scarcely completely abandoned, as there are usually at least some creatures lurking about within them, by way of a force that's either taken them over or the simple challenge within it. They add combat challenges as well as the puzzles that are present. Also, the puzzles aren't always meant to deactivate traps… usually, they're in place to help one progress within the dungeon, be it by revealing a key, helpful item, or even unlocking the next door."

Whilst the Sheikah imagined that some movies relevant to Ariana's time had a similar fate based on the subject matter, she did find a new bout of curiosity herself. Gesturing towards her companion, Impa asked, "I trust you've also found some movies that vary in their own accuracy?"

Nodding at Ariana's question regarding the presence of dungeons on the Breach, Impa met her smirk with a pleased smile and another nod. This world truly had a little bit of everything from just about every world imaginable, but that only added to its intriguing nature. As far as the relative danger of the dungeons wad concerned, Impa stated, "To a degree, they could be. The biggest danger is really entering any of their chambers unprepared. Some puzzles are trickier than others the same as how some foes are especially tough, but taking the time to be careful helps eliminate some of that." Even though the Shadow Temple itself could present danger in the form of its monsters and various spiked traps, so long as one was careful, the challenge was not any more difficult than it had to be. Dungeon maps and compasses also helped a great deal in that respect.

As strange as it was to hear about a young kid having so much responsibility, it also made sense. In situations like this, especially when leaders were involved such as Kings and Princesses, of course the kids would be trained young to be great leaders. At least, such a thing happened so long as the people in charge cared about having responsible leaders. Back in the day, a King could be killed or die of some illness, leaving his child to have new responsibilities. Princess Zelda was probably taught similarly, especially with the extra 'Sage' duty. She was so used to how things were in her world before she left, children having no responsibilities outside of school unless their homes were very poor and they had to get a job. A child growing up like that may not be able to handle such responsibilities. "Even here, she's not alone. Not with you here." Even if she may not have the responsibilities she used to have, she still wasn't alone. And that was probably the most important feeling in the world, to not feel alone.

The young woman listened eagerly to hear how the movies measured up. She had been expecting for the movies to have failed, but surprisingly they were apparently close to the real thing! They were still off about some details too, the dungeons in Impa's world still contained something inside of them. As she had mentioned before, there were creatures to fight. In movies? Dungeons were typically abandoned, hence the complex traps to provide suspense. While people may show up at some point, or even an animal to fight, the majority still involved complex traps. The puzzles in movies typically set off traps or stopped a trap, while in Impa's world they helped to further one's descent into the dungeon. "I never did like how needlessly complicated the traps could get in the movies. It seemed a little unrealistic, not to mention dangerous. I'd much rather explore a dungeon from your world." Definitely no chance of being bowled over by a giant ball in those kind.

As for Impa's question, Ariana considered it before nodding in agreement. "Basically everything about living on your own is kinda exaggerated in the movies. If you run away from home in the movies, you usually end up on the streets, or sent to an orphanage or something. In my experience, even though it can be hard at first, you can usually find something. Sometimes you have to work for very little, and its not a paradise, but its not as...dramatic as the movies make it seem." It was the closest she could get to admitting where movies had failed, since she couldn't exactly say 'oh yeah werewolves aren't much like the movies show'. Still, she'd encountered what she'd said in the movies. Always showing young run-aways sleeping in the alleys, the life on her own was hardly easy but it never really got that hard. Of course she had a few advantages others didn't. If she could find nowhere to sleep, she could find a place to sleep in the woods, along with food all around for her to eat.

According to Impa, the biggest danger in a dungeon would be walking into a dungeon without being properly prepared. Not just physically, but mentally. There are many puzzles, riddles, things to think about that couldn't be solved by punching. "Other than being careful, what else would you suggest to become more prepared?" Maybe a trip to the library to study riddles and puzzles?

Impa could not help but smile warmly at Ariana's words. Whilst Princess Zelda was not here as far as her new companion was concerned, the Sheikah still felt that she was most certainly right. Even before her young charge had wound up being pulled to the Breach as well, Impa knew that she would always be there for her… in spirit in this world, and in person in other points in time. Theirs was a bond that transcended time itself, and it was something that the Sheikah held very dear. So long as she was here, she would always make sure that the princess was never alone. With a nod to Ariana, she stated, "Thank you."

Whilst the movies that contained various temples and dungeons had varying degrees of accuracy, the overall effect they tried to portray was not too far off. Impa laughed softly at Ariana's remark about overly complex traps that said dungeons often held, finding herself agreeing wholeheartedly with her despite likely not having seen as many movies. "From what I have seen, they certainly are dangerous – far more than most dungeons are meant to be. If you are ever interested in exploring such a dungeon, as I said, there are some here… and that includes a certain temple from my own world." Although her charges each knew how to open the main sealed door inside, the Sage of Shadow was the only one who could truly open the temple for any to investigate it. Simple exploration was a very good reason to check out any dungeon or temple, and so long as any party remained respectful and watchful, such ventures were practically always welcome.

As far as the accuracy of some of the films depicting Ariana's own time went, it seemed that they were not spared from exaggeration either. Impa nodded as she noted the difference in living on one's own, and although she did not show it outwardly, she was rather surprised to learn that not only had Ariana been a runaway, but also that she was confiding that fact in her. The Sheikah was honored for that display of trust, for although Ariana had previously mentioned how she was used to taking care of herself, this was undoubtedly something more personal. She did not know what might have led to such a decision for her, but the important thing was that she had managed to find safety and take care of herself.

"I'm sorry that you had to contend with that," noted Impa with a sympathetic nod. "I realize that it was certainly not ideal, but I am glad that films are inaccurate in that regard... and of course that you found something." She knew that she had found a warm, safe home here on the Breach, and she hoped that whilst Ariana had not had the inn back in her world, that she had at least found a place she could stay.

At Ariana's question about what else one could do to ready themselves for exploring a dungeon, Impa smiled slightly before stating, "It's always important to make sure you have proper equipment with you as well. Depending on any dungeon you might set foot in, each one is fraught with its own hazards. You might need to climb up surfaces, push blocks or other structures into different places, activate far off switches, and of course fend off any creatures. Oftentimes, dungeons hold items within them that you can use to fully explore their chambers, but you need to make sure you're ready to even get that far."

"You don't have to thank me, I'm just stating the facts. And the fact is that she's very lucky to have you." Ariana replied, smiling softly. In a sense, she wished she had someone like Impa back in her universe. She seemed like a very kind and loyal person to have on your side, though maybe she could have her as a friend here. After all, they were having a very nice talk together. Maybe they could keep talking like this in the future? After all, they did live in the same building. And Ariana knew she needed to get out of her shell more anyway.

Ariana nodded her head in agreement, the dungeons in the movies were rather unsubtle about the danger surrounding them. Sometimes it seemed like the main character of the feature only survived due to being the main character. Other characters, some even more capable than the main character himself, would fall to the traps while the almighty Main Guy lived and succeeded through sheer luck. It could be a little funny, sometimes! "Maybe...what are the challenges like in the temple from your world?" Ariana could definitely handle herself in a situation like that, so perhaps some of the traps would be fairly easy to take care of. Learning that temples from Impa's world were brought here was also rather interesting. She had heard that sometimes, people brought location to the Breach with them. Guess that was an example.

Ariana told Impa of her own experiences with the movies, how being a runaway had been exaggerated. In some ways, it was romanticized too. There was no real middle ground, being a runaway was either some epic, empowering story or filled with much struggle and terror. The circumstances around running away from home were pretty dramatic and exaggerated either. Ariana's own situation wasn't exactly a great one, but it wasn't something like 'she was beat by her parents' or 'they just didn't understand'. Remembering it made a small frown grow on her face, eyes on the sand for a moment before looking up at Impa and giving her a nod. "Thank you. Its part of why I like it here, too." It hadn't been hard to find a job or a place to rest her head at night. Disasters aside, the Breach was a nice place to live.

So in order to explore a dungeon, one needed proper equipment. Challenges varied from needing to climb things, push heavy objects, activate switches or battle beasts. Dungeons also had items inside to help one's quest, though you had to be certain you could even get that far in the first place. "So you have to be physically ready as well as have equipment that can help you. Sounds like someone could easily over-prepare and end up with a lot of things they may not even need."

"The facts are still appreciated," noted Impa as she returned Ariana's smile. Whilst the Sheikah did like to think that she herself was fortunate to have such a wonderful charge as the princess, it still warmed her heart to be told that Zelda herself was in turn lucky. As far as other sorts of luck were concerned, Impa was rather confident that she had lucked out in her unexpected encounter today. She might have only seen Ariana in the briefest of passings before, but she was rather glad that the two of them had been able to meet and strike up a pleasant conversation here. Somehow, she had a feeling that between this initial meeting and the fact that they both lived at the inn, this was bound to be but the first of many good talks for both of them.

At Ariana's question regarding the challenges held within the temples of Hyrule, Impa tilted her head back in thought for a couple of moments. "For the temple here in particular, some of the challenges are rather standard across similar dungeons… defeating enemies to progress, moving blocks into place to unlock different chambers, and locating the big key to access the boss' room. Some of the more unique challenges for this one include avoiding falling or spinning blades, traversing invisible paths, and finding your way past false walls. It seems trickier at first than it actually is, but once you stop and think things through, it becomes quite clear." That stood even if someone did not fully utilize the Lens of Truth within the depths of the temple.

Impa did not fail to catch Ariana's slight albeit momentary frown, but even so, she was glad that her companion had found something back in her own world. That appeared to have been augmented upon her arrival here, for although coming to the Breach certainly took a lot of adapting, making a fresh start or continuing to a better one was at least easy enough.

"That you do," stated Impa, nodding at Ariana's assessment. Chuckling softly at the mention of someone being over-prepared, she added, "That is entirely possible and is something to be mindful of, but it is always better to over-prepare than under-prepare. Most of all, it is very important to know the limits of your own carrying capacity. If you can carry a lot of things and not be burdened, be it with a good backpack or magical storage space, then you should be just fine."

"In that case, you are very welcome." The two could definitely grow to be good friends, if all of their talks were going to be like this. Ariana was quite glad that her visit to the beach was a lot more interesting and enjoyable than she had first figured it would be. Being alone was fine but sometimes a bit of company was appreciated. The young werewolf hadn't really explored much of the world either. It may do her some good to get out there more, explore around and look for these temples and face their challenges. Find a few other challenges to take part in, as well. Nothing too suicidal or risky, but something to get the blood pumping again. Hunting was always good for getting the blood pumping, but that could get monotonous.

"Standard?" Ariana pushed her glasses up her nose as she listened to Impa explain. So the temple here was pretty standard in terms of challenges. Fighting enemies, moving blocks around to unlock new areas, and locating keys that would unlock the important 'boss' rooms. "Definitely sounds like a lot of physical work." Extra challenges were obstacle in nature, avoiding weapons or falling, keeping on the right path, and finding false walls. Although tricky, they could be figured out so long as one used their head. "I'm glad it's not all muscle work though." Although there was a lot of work to be done to muscle one's way through the temple, there was some thought in it too.

Right, so running off to temples and dungeons was not something to be done lightly and impulsively! Not that Ariana was very impulsive anyway. She would definitely make an actual plan and prepare before doing anything like this. And Impa had a good point. She'd rather have a few extra things in her bag then really need something important. It all made sense to Ariana! Except... "Magical storage space?" She blinked openly. "Is that easy to come across or..." Maybe it was just something that some people had. A...weird, magical storage space.

With a nod to Ariana at her words, Impa once again found herself grateful for the unexpected company she had happened across. Although she had been more than fine to enjoy the day on the beach by herself, this encounter was definitely very welcome, and if she had managed to pass the spirit of adventure along to her companion, then that was even better.

As Impa described what standard challenges within a temple or dungeon entailed, Ariana readily picked up on the balance between the physical and mental obstacles inside of them. "It can be, but that is indeed only a part of it. An able body is important, and with a sharp mind inside it, practically nothing is impossible." There were of course limits imposed by the mechanics of the dungeon itself as well as ones own physical capabilities, but even then, if the right strategy was utilized, those base challenges could always be overcome.

With Ariana's correct assessment of how to best approach a dungeon confirmed, Impa could not help but smile softly at her question regarding magical storage space. Nodding once more, she stated, "Yes, that's correct." As far as the next trailed of question went though, that required a bit more of an explanation. "Yes and no. For some individuals, usually those with some level of magical ability, it's an innate trait. Just about everyone from Hyrule has that ability, and we're able to keep our inventory in a sort of Hyrulean storage space. For example, I might not look like I am carrying much on me, but…"

Leaving that statement to hang for a moment, Impa reached just behind her back, but instead of unsheathing the blade she had holstered there, she instead produced a baseball-sized object, one that looked like a rather large nut. The Sheikah was not wearing any pouches that appeared to have been able to hold such, but sure enough, she had still pulled it from her own inventory. Smiling a bit more as she held the deku nut out, Impa added, "I do have more on my person than it might seem." Pausing for a moment, she soon stated, "Even if you do not possess such a skill outright, you can still happen across bags that have the same ability. I believe I once heard one referred to as a bag of holding, so such a skill can in fact be gained."

"Definitely. It's like the best of both worlds." Balance was a pretty vital part of living anyways. You can't just work out your body and leave your brain to atrophy, because then, what good are you? Muscular, sure. Very strong, of course, but then there's no possibility for thinking for one's self. The other half was true as well, even if someone was a genius, they'd still have problems to face in being physically weak. Ariana had a few of those moments when she was just a human, having a hard time with heavy objects. Now that she was a werewolf though, she was stronger than she was before. Ariana wasn't exactly a genius either, but she liked to think she was pretty reasonable. With her strengths, most everything was a possibility.

Impa smiled softly and confirmed that it was called a 'magical storage place'. "A very...wordy name, huh?" Apparently it was a magical ability, an innate one that the Hyruleans from Impa's world had. Wonder if Jake had had anything like that...it'd explain where that odd suit he had went when he was a wolf. Ariana's head tilted to the side as Impa stated that it may not look like she was carrying much herself. Oh? Did she have a magical storage space on her person right now? Impa reached behind herself and grabbed out...a big nut? Ariana's eyebrows shot up into her forehead as she peered down at it. She seemed to grab it right from thin air! Ariana gave it a tentative poke before looking back at Impa.

"How much can you carry at one time? And what exactly is this nut?" There were some bags that could do this too? "A bag of holding...hm! I'll look into that! Any idea where I could find one?"

Balance was a key aspect in just about every part of life, and that was always very true for ones mind and body. Between both the training she underwent as a young Sheikah as well as her own nature, Impa had wound up doing her best to hone her mind as well as her body in a variety of ways, and those lessons and work paid off to this day. She was certainly grateful for it, and even though she had already attained her own balance, she still recognized the importance of keeping it and imparting the same lessons to her charges.

Chuckling softly at Ariana's assessment of magical storage space's term being rather lengthy, Impa noted, "A little, but it's more all-encompassing and technically correct than calling all of it an inventory." The terms were almost interchangeable, but inventory tended to lend itself to only certain sets of items. Regardless, the Sheikah hoped that her example of such a storage space might prove handy here, and Ariana was soon curiously regarding the Deku Nut she had produced. From a surprised eyebrow raise and investigative poke, her companion was set to ask more questions, and Impa was happy to answer her.

"That depends on some of what I'm carrying, but I can actually carry quite a lot. I can carry various weapons, ammunition for them such as arrows, trinkets, bottles, and other gear that I might need. I can carry at least the equivalent of a very large suitcase if that helps. As for what this nut is, it's a Deku Nut. It's something from my homeworld; a special nut that when thrown, produces a brief, blinding flash. You can actually use them to stun enemies or even make a quick getaway if needed."

At Araina's piqued interest regarding a bag of holding, Impa smiled and hummed for a moment in thought before stating, "There are probably a couple of places in the city that you might be able to find one. One such place lies between the residential and business districts… I believe it is simply called the Gear Shop. "

Chuckling, Impa was quick to point out that the lengthy name did do a good job of properly explaining what such an ability did instead of just calling it an inventory, which would definitely make the ability seem like it was a satchel or something. "Good point, good point..." She shifted her weight to her other hip as she listened to Impa explain further about her ability. So it definitely depended on what Impa wanted to carry. If she were moving out of her home for instance, she probably couldn't shove her furniture in there. But she was still able to hold quite a lot! She could carry various weapons, weapon supplies, trinkets, bottles...the girl let out a low whistle. "Kinda makes the backpack I have seem like a coin purse." It was useful, for sure, but she definitely could have used more supplies. The talk of weapons was definitely interesting...she needed more then just her werewolf powers. Maybe she ought to look into weapons...she had always wanted to learn the bow and arrow as a kid!

The nut itself was a Deku nut, something native to Impa's world and it produced a blinding flash, albeit brief. One could either use it to stun someone or make a quick escape, possibly even both. "It sounds...vaguely like something a ninja would use." And as for actually getting any such devices or items that could utilize such an ability, Impa was sure that there were several area in Portal Breach that Ariana could visit. "True enough...this seems to be a real 'land of opportunity and possibilities'." One in particular was the Gear shop. Ariana furrowed her brows, tilting her head to the side. "That sounds almost familiar...maybe I heard of it in passing before. Perhaps I will stop by, there." There was a lot to think about, that was for sure. Ariana shuffled in place for a moment, glancing off into the horizon before giving Impa a small smile. "It's getting pretty late, I'll probably head back to the city before it gets too dark. But it was very nice to meet you, and thank you so much for the conversation."

Impa was glad that Ariana seemed to like the idea of a storage space whether it was magical or via a magic bag, and she soon raised a single eyebrow at the whistle she emitted. Whether the girl was able to procure such a bag in the future or not, at the very least, she had knowledge of them now, and hopefully one such bag would be a fin addition to the backpack she already owned. "I'm sure it's still a fine backpack, and so long as it holds what you need it to, it can still be very useful."

Smiling a bit more at Ariana's assessment of the Deku Nut, Impa returned it to her Hyrulean storage space before she noted, "You are not the first person to say something like that. Ninjas as you know them were not found in my homeworld, but the more I hear about the traditional ones from earth, there are some striking similarities between them and Sheikah." Granted, the Sheikah were actually a race of their own whilst ninjas were students of specialized martial arts and stealth, but even so, some of the common aspects they shared intrigued Impa to this day.

As far as the Gear Shop went, it might have been a simple name, but it was at least one such shop on the Breach that might be able to help out for any would-be adventurers. Whether Ariana was able to stop by there or not, she had quite possibly heard of it, and Impa hoped that any future visits there would prove successful for her. As it was, this unexpected visit seemed to be drawing to a close as Ariana looked out over the ocean again before turning back to her. The girl was quite right that it was starting to get late; time had a way of passing one by when they were out by the beach, and this evening appeared to be no exception. Impa hoped that their meeting and conversation had not kept Ariana out too late, but no matter what time it was, both of them seemed to have gained something from this encounter: stimulating discussion, and even better, a possible friend in each other.

"All right then. It was very nice to meet you as well," stated Impa, nodding to Ariana as she folded her arms. Returning her smile with one of her own, she added, "Thank you very much too… it was quite fun. I hope to see you again in the future, at the very least around the inn. Until then, take care."

At that, as Ariana turned to leave, Impa moved to continue her walk along the beach. She would likely head back before too late herself, but as the sun was starting to set, she wanted to enjoy the nice, quiet nature of the sea for just a little longer.

The older woman raised a blue tinged eyebrow at Ariana's whistle, and the younger woman rubbed the back of her head with a sheepish smile. She couldn't help it, it was kinda impressive! In any case, Impa went on to assure Ariana that her backpack was suitable enough for her needs, and the black haired girl nodded. "I haven't had much opportunity to use it...but it's never steered me wrong." She didn't exactly have much to store away anyway...a change of clothes, maybe an extra weapon or two. Backup food and water. Pretty normal! Especially compared to stuff like that deku nut.

"Oh really?" Guess that made sense...there were quite a few people here from Earth. Or at least, a type of Earth, and the media on Earth typically included ninjas. People who were rather great fighters, who used smoke bombs or other means to block vision and escape without being seen. "The next time we meet, we ought to compare them." To really see how much ninjas and Sheikah really compared. Impa certainly seemed disciplined, and likely a good fighter. The Deku Nuts were similar to what ninjas may use, as she had already pointed out...what other similarities may exist?

Alas, it was time for the two women to depart. This had definitely been a nice reprieve from her own thoughts. A good distraction that allowed her to meet someone new. Perhaps Ariana should do it more often...Ariana matched Impa's nod. The older woman thanked her, Ariana taken aback for a moment before her smile remained on her face genuinely. "Yes, thank you. It was very fun." She bowed slightly. "We will probably see each other in the inn...come to my room if you ever need me, or just want to drop by." Again, she bowed to the woman. "You take care as well..." Ariana turned and began to walk in the direction of the city, drawing her sweater around herself. The smile didn't falter as she made the trek. Today had been a good day after all.
