Livewire was getting even more enjoyment out of the companionship aspect than she was out of reading the material. Though she absolutely LOVED reading about science, just being near someone made the femme feel happy. Even if they didn't talk to her or acknowledge her, Livewire's spark was uplifted only by their presence. That Wheatley was so willing to spend time and read with the cybertronian made a connection to him in her sparkshard that would be hard to break, just like how she grew permanently attached to Starscream the first day she met him (But this was on a much, MUCH smaller scale compared to Starscream).

Livewire, a smile of happiness still on her face, turned her head to look at the resting AI as he questioned her. She looked contemplative for about half of a second before the smile returned to its familiar perch.

"Yeah! This is a lot of fun! An' um, no, I dun' do it a lot, but...I'd really like to! An', would...you like to maybe do it again? If you're havin' fun, too?"

If you'd asked him before, in the days before he'd panicked and tried to escape the Facility with the help of the last living test subject, which had been quiet and quite dull in comparison, Wheatley probably wouldn't have seen the point of just sitting with someone and working on something together.

Even with the lady from the tests, Wheatley could hardly say they'd spent much time just... sitting, together, in silent contemplation. A few times, though, when faced with a particularly stubborn obstacle, perhaps, but it wasn't quite the same. That had been enjoyable, despite the whole underlying we're all going to die sentiment running through the back of his head at the time. But this was even better. (For one thing: No imminent danger. That he knew of, anyway.)

"Well... yes, actually. I mean, obviously, uh, books are just loads of fun, um, by themselves-" He was, perhaps, being less than sincere right there, but his heart was in the right place. Well, would have been, if he'd had one. "-but, this is absolutely loads better. We should... we should definitely do this again. Not that, uh, not that we can't, uh, just keep doing it now. As well."

He tilted his 'face' up towards hers and gave her his own equivalent of a happy little smile.

If Wheatley had told Livewire that he had never really had anyone sit down and enjoy anything with him, then Livewire probably would have hugged the everliving DAYLIGHTS out of him and swear that she would always be available to him if he was ever feeling the need to do anything like that. Livewire, fortunately, had been blessed or something to be surrounded by people who cared about her and wanted to be there with her while she learned about the world. Be it Jana, who would sit with Livewire as they read textbooks, storybooks, or watched cartoons. Overcast, who would tell Livewire about her world's history as a bedtime story, or Swindle, who sometimes Livewire would sneak under the desk and listen to him talk to a customer because his voice was always so nice to listen to. Those, and quite a few others, introduced Livewire to how wonderful it is to just sit and learn with someone, and now Livewire was so happy to introduce Wheatley to that as well! Hooray!

Livewire grinned happily and, just as happily, wrapped her arms around the sphere in an embrace as he accepted her offer. She was so happy! She had a reading buddy at the library! She gently nuzzled the sphere before releasing him and picking up the book again, almost bouncing in her seat in joy before managing to calm herself down. She was just so excited and grateful and happy all at once!

"Thank you so much, Wheatley! This is gonna be fun! An' thank you for wantin' to do it again with me an' stuff!"
