Well that didn't went according to plan. Fortunately, Karkat's skin was thick enough to take the hit. He winced a little at the shot. And he needed to find a way to disappear from the spotlight. His eyes had to change from their night vision. That light had hurt a little, he had to admit. So what was the oh so great leader going to do?

He had another plan though... A communication device would have been useful right about now.
He youth rolled on the otherside of the wall and attempted to hide behind anything he could find. This meant probably a random bush there or press himself against the wall... He then took out his little phone thing to message Thomas. CG: JUST ALL DROP DOWN AND THEN TRY TO GET OUT OF THE SPOTLIGHT IF YOU'RE SPOTTED. WE'LL TRY TO HIT AND RUN ALL THE WAY THERE. He the crouches, awaiting to see if he had been spotted or for the others to follow. He couldn't help but have a small chuckle at the loud voice of the overloard of the underworld. Get them, Laharl.

well who would've guessed 5 would be breaking into a church-like stronghold with genocidal priests shooting at everyone trying to get in and who more than likely want nothing more to see you dead? it sure was the last thing 5 expected yet here he was, normal-sized, clinging to Megamind's shoulder as the blue alien climbed the wall to get in while trying not to look down and/or give a yelp of fear or anything else that might draw the attention of the priests. keeping his optic shut, and also making sure his crossbow and quiver were secure before whispering to Megamind let me know when we're inside.. he was careful to keep his voice low so only the blue alien could hear him. when he spoke there was also traces of fear he was desperately trying to keep in check as he clung to his friend for dear life.

The Stitchpunk figured in the back of his head that it'll be a miracle if he didn't die of fright before this was all over..

Xiao hissed as she was being shot, feeling one of the bullets skimming her tail. HER TAIL! How terrible! These guys knew her tail was fail, didn't they? They knew she was an oddball of her family and was born with a tail that cannot be broken off left behind as a last minute attempt to escape enemy hands, didn't they! Xiao being Xiao of course skipped out the part in the logic where men had no way of learning of such a thing in the first place. She was just going to presume they knew and was thus treating her tail nastily because of it.

Whining at the scrape on her tail and angry now, she picked up the man she was strangling and threw him at one of the shooting guards. Whether the strangled man hit the shooter or not, Xiao didn't see. She lunged forward, grabbed the other guard's head by the face and brained him against the wall.

Thomas checked his smartphone as soon as he felt the gadget start vibrating. The former BLACKCAT agent had no words to express how glad he was that he had, for once, thought ahead and turned the main ringtone to vibrate. He read Karkat's message, relaying the plan to anyone nearby. Quietly-ish, though. Didn't want Iscariot to hear.

"Once we're over, hide and regroup. After that, we're going straight for the church." he said, before he began to climb himself. Unlike most of his comrades, Thomas didn't have much that lent itself well to climbing defensive structures. He didn't have a grappeling hook, or sickles and rope, or magic, or even the ability to fly. But what he did have was control over his own body...and a lot of brute force.

There was a quiet, wet sort of noise, as Thomas forced two large barbs of bone through the palm of his hands. Shaking the blood from them, Thomas thrust those barbs into the wall. It wasn't perfect, but it was enough. Hopefully, the Wendigo's increased weight wouldn't be a problem. The bone was dense enough to support his weight. Hell, it did so on a daily basis!

Still, he didn't usually go climbing like this...

So apparently her aim was getting better, good to know. Tally watched as one of the guards, the elder of the two, fell dead. Her face remained the same even as his friend began yelling. She may have gotten over her apathy, but that didn't mean she had completely softened up into a pile of goo. She knew that when the circumstances called for it killing was necessary. Just like it was now.

The other priest continued to yell, enraged he ran off, abandoning his section of the wall. This was her chance, apparently she hadn't even had to wait for the mob to draw all the fire for her. Abandoning the roof Tally made her way to the wall, she, like others, had no super jumping of flying abilities. Which meant she was going up the wall the long way, by climbing. Thankfully the special ability she had had installed in her gantz suit came in handy for such situations.

With a quiet "shck" the claws of her gantz suit unsheathed themselves. They would no doubt provide her with a better hold than nothing at all. Tally began to ascend the wall, priests beware if she made it to the other side.

Officer Mustang stood in both shock and awe at the sight that stood before him. Shock from seeing the multitude of people that had appeared to attack these priests of judas; Awe from the chief single-handedly attempting to lift the gate off of its hinges on his own. He had forgotten how strong Hellboy was, given most of the chief's time was spent in the office signing paperwork.

"Anytime to cover me would be great, kid! No pressure!"

kid he thought to himself with a chuckle, it had been a while since someone called him that. On it sir! he retorted, taking a quick survey of the situation. Many of the priests had taken to attacking Ridley above the church, however the sound of the gate tearing itself apart would certainly attract some attention.

Quickly he put on his gloves and pointed to an area on the other side of the gate.

Hopefully this will buy us some time He thought to himself bringing down his hand with a quick snap, causing the ground at that location to explode in flames.

It had been a long time since he had last visited the church; his previous visit ending in failure as he attempted to make peace with the current resident fanatics. These fools who proclaimed religion as the basis of their crusade on Portal Breach. Their Father Anderson had laid him to waste in what seemed to be seconds. They had left him for dead laying upon the steps of the church, forced to crawl back to the sanctuary.

But today, today was a day for retribution.

They church looked like a battlefield now, much different from the peaceful setting it once was. People were flying over the walls, explosions all over the grounds wracked the landscape, even the sky was aflame. It wasn't that he disliked the people there, on the contrary! He found many of the new arrivals entertaining to say the least. But their methods were... something.

Using the assault as a distraction Seph quickly moved towards the rear wall, catching Tally in his sights for a brief moment before shooting himself over the wall.

With a soft 'puft', Sanji landed, crouched, at the other end of the wall. Success! He had done it, getting past the wall was a piece of cake. Actually, it was a little...too easy. Without a doubt there would be a struggle getting across, but he was sure it wasn't anything he couldn't handle. He hoped, at least. Standing up straight, his dark clothing was pretty good at hiding his body, he took a deep breath. Here he goes. Oh, this was wonderful! The adrenaline rush that kicked in just before a good fight or before a good assault. He readied himself, and then looked over his shoulder.

"Ready, Sam-Swa-..."

But Samara was not there. Perhaps she was still scaling the wall? He did go pretty fast, and she was actually climbing it. Still...he felt like something was off. He had this feeling ever since he was introduced to the existence of the Iscariot organization, and it was not a good one. He shouldn't dwell on the negative so much, but this was not very good. Alas, he would not proceed until Samara came with him-he always puts the women before himself!

Eric followed the first group with his eyes, he wasn't one in their particular group but it pays to have them as a distraction. It was good to keep the religious maniacs busy with the first line of attackers, who ever is orchestrating this groups attack strategy has Eric's respect and gratitude. The vampire made sure to keep out of the squirrel's way as she flitted right passed his shadowy form. There was no need to alarm them that he was around as it might cause a bit of panic when someone steps out from what had appeared to be nowhere. He quietly back tracked his way to a much higher position to get a better view of the action, like the top of a near by building.


The building he picked was just to the front of the church where there seemed to be more priests to snipe. Once the vampire made it to the top he stepped out of the shadows and walked over to the edge. He no longer needed binoculars with night vision or heat sensors, as a vampire of his dimension Eric's senses have heightened, almost to the point that a gun shot with a silencer many blocks away was equivalent to dropping a penny right by his ears. Once at the edge Eric looked across the street to view the damage done by the rescue teams. He noted that the police have made their appearance with two officers ripping through the front gate. One being the head police, Hellboy, and the other being a fellow fire user, Roy Mustang. He shook his head at the fact that the government would only spare two, though a strong pair, to deal with the problem of Iscariot's kidnappings and not really do anything before now. Then later citizens who took things into there own hands to rescue their friends get charged with vigilantism. It didn't seem fair, but that was the law and the laws were made to keep one from stepping on another. Why did morality of reality have to be so complex? Freedom and conscience were the judge and they were some times over looked.

Snapping back into reality, the vampire took a step back from the ledge and from his shadow space pulled out his long ranged weapon of choice, his sniper rifle. It had been a very long while since he had used this toy, a gift from Walter when he finished his first mission for Hellsing. Eric didn't bring the bullets that came with the massive rifle, instead he used normal ones for there was no need to waste the special ones in exchange for the normal ones that made no difference to killing his enemies. The rifle like all weapons made for vampires who worked for Hellsing was huge and heavy. No normal being would be able to use it and survive without a broken bone, that's if they could lift it, aim, and pull the trigger, before it's owner could track them and kill them. Now it was time to set up before attacking.
