Oh no! No no no no no on, god dammit NO! What the hell was Flash Man thinking!? Sure the queen was dead and Samus done and goofed up! But Dammit dammit dammit!

" FLASH MAN! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!?!?" she rushed over, shoving the Robot Master aside. However, it was way past too late. Samus laid dead on the floor in front of them.

Okay...that was the straw that broke the camel's back:

" You fucking MORONS!! Do you realize what you've just DONE!? She pulled a stupid move yes, but she fucking knew more about the pirates than ANY FUCKING ONE OF US! You just killed our guide! NOW WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO!? HUH!?! HUH!?!?!"

Samara was furious. Her tone of voice depicted that loud and clear at Flash Man and Rasa. The anger was as prominent as the Robot Master's possibly was, however, unlike Flash, she wasn't about to turn and attack one of them. That is the last thing they needed. Samara then shouted out.

" RIDLEY I SWEAR I AM GOING TO PERSONALLY RIP YOUR SPINAL COLUMN OUT OF YOUR THROAT!"

With that, she delved into a small array of colorful words in another language for a small period of time. Don't worry..she'll be calm again once she composes herself.

Another shot connected and Sam's aim was even better, all three of her shots connected. It was then he noticed Flash's eyes go orange, that was not a good sign. It got worse and Flash licked Samus' helmet them started swinging. It got worse fast as Rasa suddenly charged in and attacked Samus as well. The attacks were brutal. Even though several people protested she was dead before anyone could do a thing to stop it.

The multiple attacks did their job and the metroid fell dead. Megamind just could not believe that Flash had done that. That program was supposed to be broken damn it, he had removed it. The blue alien had no excuse what so ever. "WHAT THE HELL! THE IDEA IS TO KILL THE PIRATES, NOT YOUR TEAM MATES!" Yes, Samus was being a bit of a pain and had acted hastily, but a mistake wasn't an excuse for killing them! To Megamind this was just so...unexpected he wasn't sure how to react. Damnation, he'd better watch his back if he made a mistake!

It was then Ridley spoke again urging them on about killing her and jeering that the only one that knew the pirates was dead. Megamind muttered a few choice words under his breath. The pirate lord was right to jeer too. He saw Rasa punch Flash and yell, but he didn't hear it clearly. Hopefully Flash would snap out of it. One of the nasty looking beast leaped for his face. He was fast enough to duck and whirled blasting it with a red ray.....probably overkill, but all considering it would feel great.

Definately overkill, the thing exploded everywhere in a spray of flesh and blood, gross. He lowered the De-Gun and scowled. "Sam's right, DAMNIT, there was NO reason to KILL her!"

Shepard thankfully got rid of the energy-sucking baby of the Metroid, but soon noticed that Flash and Rasa were starting to attack Samus. "You've got to be kidding me..." She muttered under her breath.

Were they being controlled by the Metroids? She doubted it as Rasa acted a lot like himself, while Flash...must have had a glitch in his programming due to that demented look on his face. Shepard admitted that she thought that Samus had been pretty dude and acted before thinking towards them, even when they were a team and had a common goal, which was to stop the Space Pirates. But the 'Hunter' wasn't a team player. Shepard sighed. Even she was known to put her differences aside and decided to cooperate with the Illusive Man, even if she trusted him as far as she could throw him. The same thoughts as Garrus passed through her mind, though. Wrex would definitely do the same thing here.

But after the fall of Samus and the Metroid Queen, a chuckle was heard. Ridley obviously was very happy by these turn of events. In other words, they did their enemy's dirty work. Samus was their guide, even if she acted the way she did, she knew more of the Space Pirates. And the others were right. They didn't have to kill her but this is also not the time to fight.

"Enough!" Shepard said loudly, hoping that this would stop their incoming fight. "This isn't the time to fight. We still have a mission, despite Samus." She didn't exactly agree with what Rasa and Flash did. Even though Samus had acted like a bitch, they could have used all the help they could get.

She looked at the others around her, with a stern look. "We still have the info we got from Star Command and the Rangers, and we hacked into the Pirates' terminals. We can use it to our advantage if we want to make it out alive. But we have to work together as a team."

Turning to Megamind, Samara and Jana, she said. "You three know more about this Ridley than anyone else here does. We need to work together to stop him." Hopefully, they can all put their differences aside to complete the mission.

Welp.....she was dead. And their intercom stalker was having a blast about it. As soon as he was done laughing about her death, he started rubbing it in their faces. Sheila grimaced and rubbed the bridge of her nose. At least the queen was dead. And those babies seemed pretty dead to her.

And then Sam and Megamind started having conniptions. She did agree, that Samus, who knew about these things, such as telling them the Queen's weak spot, and could be as useful and she was damaging, but really? What's done is done. Nothing to do now but continue. Shepard spoke and Sheila nodded, jutting a thumb in her direction. "I'm with her, she's makin' a lot of sense right now."

And them Samus was KO'd, or killed, the cyborg was not quite sure. She...really was not that strong yet, was she? Kind of sad really. Now that Samus was gone and Jana had thought about it for awhile, she didn't quite care that she was dead/KO'd now. She may have known about the pirates, but she had done nothing but cause them trouble, and had been knocked out easily while in their group. The more she thought about it, the more she didn't quite care. The problem of the mother and her children were taken care off.

The cyborg laughed and walked over to Samus, kicking her slightly with a foot. "Yup, she is out for the count." the cyborg laughed, not feeling bad for the fallen hero. She wasn't her friend, she was simply there. Cannon fodder, as Tally had often mentioned. And of course Same and Megamind began to freak out about it. Sam of course yelling and screaming like she was PMS woman. Wouldn't that be quite a name for a hero? PMS Women.

"I agree completely with you, dude" she said to Shepard. "Let's all just be teammates and kill each other when we are outta here. Now, shall we continue on~?"

'Kekekeke~ Everyone will die now...' His gaze turned to the others. Fireing of a bright red color. Oh he was going to attack you too. You all... And probably end up killing every single one of you. He would only spare the robots what had the same signature to his own. Alas none of you are wily robots.

Fortunately....

Then Rasa gave him a punch in the face.. BAM! Flash felt back almost doing a back flip with the force of the hit. Bu the was a little too heavy to actually fall too far behing. And he landed heavily on the floor with a loud metallic impact sound. His eyes rolling like a casino slot machine and oddly making the same sound
'CHKRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL' He then tapped the side of his head to make his eyes stop moving and they were now of their regular purple color. '......uh... What happened? I just remember being really mad...' Flash said, returning to his senses.. His face sure hurted now.. He rubbed his jaw self consciously. He held his head and woozily stood up.... Confused about the situation.

"Yeah, yeah, would you shut up already!" Garrus found himself demanding, eyes still on the Metroid Queen as her large body fell to the ground with a shudder. Damn, was this Ridley enjoying himself little too much. Almost as if he were getting off on the fact that Samus had been killed, gross. While Garrus found himself not approving of what Flash and Rasa did to the woman, he had little pity for her. She got her just desserts.

Garrus lifted his weapon to fire at the remaining Metroid babies, but the others took care of them fairly easily. As for those who were panicking, by the spirits, could their voices get more shrill? And didn't they know that panicking while their enemy was observing their every move was so not the best way to pretend you knew what you were doing. Ugh.

"Shepard's right. There's no use in arguing about this anymore. We can't do anything more for her. She should have been more respectful of her teammates. And that's what we are; a team. So we better start acting like one before we make fools of ourselves in front of our enemies." Too late for that. Oh, well. "Come on, let's get out of here before anything else tries to attack us."

Well, after Samara's scream about tearing Ridley's spine out of his throat it shut him up for a minute. Or had he left the comm links... It was impossible to tell because there was no sign of the Space Pirate communication device entering and leaving the frequency. The team had a few minutes to themselves now anyway; and whether they had just murdered Samus or not... It had already been stated upon entry that this was the fuel storage facility. What's more, it seemed that they weren't far from the engine room anyway, as they could hear the engine if they listened closely enough. Hold on, they could hear the engine?! But if they were on the ground, why was the engine running?

Without a shadow of a doubt, this didn't mean anything good. They couldn't be off Zebes yet though; distant explosions of Chozo attackers still echoed throughout the entirety of the Mothership. This was, at the second, one fucked up Mothership. Fighting a war on one side, mercs hidden somewhere in the ship too... And the one at the center of it all? It was none other than Ridley himself. But he was probably focused on the Chozo Ghosts more than them. The Chozo DID have a huge army compared to their nine fighters, after all- it was only natural to care more about them.

They had fuel gel containers along the right and back wall, each filled to the brim with fuel gel for when the Space Pirates needed it. Well, they wouldn't need it soon if the heroes had what was necessary. The question at the end of all this was... Did any of the heroes have a time-bomb of any kind? Hopefully so. If not, then it would be much more complicated than if they did have one; they'd have to find and activate one on the Mothership. Who knew how long that could take?

Well, they needed to think.

Megamind was still not happy about this, but the others were right, even though he didn't like it. He glanced over at Sam, his eyes showed he agreed with her, but now they had to work together. "Alright, sorry for the shouting, but Orion's belt..." He took a deep breath and let it out. "I still don't like it or approve of you killing a team mate, but it's done. Let's finish this before we get cornered." It wasn't an apology for what he said, but it was at least saying he would let it go for the sake of the mission then he turned to study the tanks of fuel.

Megamind frowned at the sound of the engines. "I'm taking a guess that the engine being on isn't a good thing. There's certainly enough fuel to blow this ship." He folds his arms thoughtfully rubbing his jaw. "Anyone have a time bomb? I don't relish running all over this ship looking for one. Unless I can rig something....."

And so it was done. Let it be so. When things died down the Sangheili eyed his teammates not with a ravenous thirst, but more with solemn reserve. While they may view him as a murderer, the warrior held more honor than such a baseless assumption. He needed to do what others would not - could not. The Flash Man? The metal man already had the seed of death in him. The others? Hardly, besides the Shepard and the Garrus. It took a special sort of individual to take the life of another, and for that the composed soldier suffered. In silence he envied his squad mates who knew not war, but luxury - the luxury to continue their lives without hindrance. Ah, but that was something to meditate upon for another time.

Rasa'Jeqkogomee approached the bulk of the group, listening to all that they had to say without interfering. So they may chastise him for killing the Samus - they should know that so long as the rest of their team showed respect and common sense, then they had nothing to fear. Consider the Samus' death a mercy killing. "You may disagree with my methods," he spoke to them quietly, "but if it were not for the Samus, then we would have avoided this beast. It was because of her foolish and rash actions that we stumbled into an obvious trap." He was just saving them all the trouble of having to kill the Samus later, not sooner.

But this was in the past; something to be reflected upon when given time. The Sangheili had heard the engines rev up just like the rest of them, and the alien listened in on the Megamind's offering. "I do not have a time-bomb, but I do possess plasma grenades." To show his team he lifted up a single, lifeless orb. Its metalwork was intricate, complete with numerous grooves, and a simple button lay nestled at the top. No matter how alien one appeared, a grenade was always a grenade - and they all did the same thing: "The explosion should be good enough to start a chain reaction with all the fuel cells here."

They go boom.

However, maybe they were thinking too small? Let us assess what the group had before them. Thinking, Rasa'Jeqkogomee had come up with another idea - this one perhaps more brilliant if not a tad unorthodox. He made sure to say this upon a secure channel that only the team would recognize. Hopefully. "The Samus," he pointed crudely to the body with a single warped digit. "My grenades are formatted to develop cohesion with organic material. If I were to somehow smuggle a plasma grenade, or two, into the woman's armor then we can set her up as bait. Leave her body for the Pirates and let them fawn over her death; perhaps even deliver her corpse to the Ridley. And when they're close enough?" The alien blossomed his hands apart just like an explosion. "At least in death she won't be entirely useless as she was living."

What did they think about that idea?

Well instead of moving, it seemed they were going to need some explosions, as Megamind had suggested. Yes that...that was a marvelous idea! Of course they were going to do that anyway, but that was far besides the point. Megamind then suggested a time bomb. Did she even have one of those? Nah, and if she did, she hadn't brought them with her. She really only had her bombs Shadow Link had given her.

"Yes, yes it was, Rasa" Jana piped up, looking once again at Samus, still grinning. Rasa then began to tell the group an idea that he had. He said that he had plasma grenades and that they would be able to use those. They would be able to make a chain reaction. Good! Someone in their group was thinking. That was always a wonderful thing, wasn't it? Maybe they'd have a chance to get outta here after all. Jana was about to say something to him, but she was quickly stopped as he continued to speak. The grin that had been on her face before stayed.

"Well she ain't much use to us now, and we don't need to exactly carry her out~" She nodded, not looking back at Samus. "It is probably the best bet we have at the moment. One life to save many."The cyborg shrugged. She had a feeling at least two of the others would not be as...agreeable as Jana was with the idea.

After she killed her target, MINERVA swooped up into the air and landed near Samus's body, retracting her wings, saying a silent prayer for respect then holstered her gun as she listened to the ideas being passed around. Using the fuel cells did sound like the best option, and Rasa's offer was a good bonus, but to use the dead Hunter's body? It made the cyborg feel a bit uneasy about it but what choice did they have? Either way, the former Ranger really didn't have anything to contribute, strategic planning wasn't a forte for her, so she stood in her spot ready to voice her agreement on a solid plan then getting the heck out of there.

Shepard was glad that her words got through to everyone, despite the situation. They had a mission to complete, and they would complete it as a team. Now, Ridley either left the comm links or just became silent with Samara's outburst. Most likely the former, but as they began to look at the fuel storage, there was a noise close that could be none other than the engine.

"They are warming up the engines to escape." They would only start the engine if they were about to take off and the Chozo were still fighting the pirates. Were they being overwhelmed by the ghosts? Probably. What Rasa said about Samus was correct. They could have avoided the Metroid Queen. But Ridley would have then led them to another trap, so it was best that they were done with this monster now. Better sooner than later.

Looking at Megamind, she said. "Rigging the system would be the best idea." There was no way any of them could have a time bomb, but they couldn't pass an opportunity with the fuel containers right in front of them.

Upon hearing Rasa's suggestion, Shepard pondered on it, before nodding. "It would be the perfect opportunity. Ridley doesn't look like the type to not want to celebrate the fact that the 'Hunter' is finally dead. And when the grenades explode, we could detonate other grenades at the containers." By using her as bait, they would take out both the leader and their ship. It's a good strategic plan, and if they could rig the fuel to explode, then it would be a success.

"However...it's also a matter if they take the bait." There were always matters of 'what ifs' in these situations. The Pirates might see through their plan if they did a wrong move. Them or Ridley.
