The smaller one was indeed quite right to be suspicious of the fire, especially since the beast that lurked inside of it was on the move. He did hear the fight that broke out between the two natives, grinning inwardly at the chaos he had caused. There was always something to fight about when it concerned the more primitive creatures. More than likely it had something to do with the ranking order within the group perhaps. The demon did not bother himself with watching the fight, his mind on more important things, like ambushing the remaining bird-creatures. If the smaller native paid attention to the fire after he got up, he would find that the blue fire within the forest was gone, as the demon paced over to the far side of the fire. There, he sized up the remaining creatures, figuring what tactic would prove the most useful for this fight.

It seemed they were working to put out the fire he had started, or at least contain it. However, the demon prince doubted those small piles of dirt were going to do much in the next few minutes. He crouched down, slinking along the ground as he grew near the edge of the fire, though keeping himself hidden among the flames. The prince's lone eye roved about the group of natives, picking and choosing how to go about his attack. It did not take him long though to formulate what to do in his mind, rolling his shoulders as he took a few more glances down the line. While in other fights, his tail would sway with the anticipation, he kept it still. The thick appendage was much too close to the burning trees, which would fall over from one slap if he was not careful. After all, what good would be an ambush if everyone knew it was coming? Now, where was that taller native, the demon wanted to crush him first. Not because of the conversation that conspired earlier, but because the tallest native seemed to hold the rank of a leader.

    Aha. There he was.

Prixlezub's hips wiggled like a cat before the pounce, focusing in on that particular native. Then, with a powerful heave of his legs, the demon prince launched himself out of the fire, not a sound escaping his tattered maw save for the hiss of smoke rolling from his grill. The demon's powerful hooves and feet thundered upon the ground as he landed, stomping among the fire-fighting natives. Then, he turned to look straight at the taller native, his lone eye glaring down at him. Prixlezub allowed only that fleeting glance of his once thought dead opponent, before attempting to grab the native and toss him into the fire.

The blue was gone, and the black eyes of the smaller, who will now be referred to as Kop'sirk, darted around frightfully. The demon was on the prowl. But once his eyes landed on the leader, the one who was so disrespectful and ignorant, Nib'Udfa, he kept his mouth shut. Nib'Udfa refused to listen to reason. He threatened him for even daring to speak the truth. What favors did he owe the fellow Native? And honestly...any deaths that came out from here on in? All on the hands of Nib'Udfa.

Said ignorant alien was standing with his back to the fires, instead watching the others work. After all, leaders weren't supposed to handle physical labor, they delegate it! He took a deep breathe in, and then breathed out slowly. Today might not have been so good, but with the beast gone, they could make progress, save their home, and rightfully mourn their fallen!

Except it was at that moment that the beast leapt out of the fires, stomping down, sounding like rolling thunder as the bodies of several natives expired beneath the hooves. The sound of the screams was what made the leader turn, and he watched with horror as three of their own were trampled to death beneath the thought dead monster!

His eyes sought out the one he saw as disobedient, and he found him, at the other end of the clearing surrounded by fire. Kop'sirk glared at Nib'Udfa, and the words and intent behind his eyes was very clear. You did this. Nib'Udfa froze, shocked by this whole situation, and that was when the beast snatched him up. He shrieked in fear, thinking himself about to be gobbled, but fate was not nearly that kind. He was tossed into the fire instead, smoking and burning like fresh meat on a spit. He howled, and was soon dead, nothing more than a cooked corpse.

Rage against the dead was not looked down upon kindly, but Kop'sirk could not find it within himself to mourn for their ignorant, self appointed 'leader'. Their REAL leader had gone with the elder, as they ALL should have. Fools, all of them were fools. Even he was a fool. Kop'sirk stood to the side, waiting to see what would become of himself, the beast, and his brothers. This experience had done much to disillusion him. They brought this upon themselves. They unburied this thing. They decided it was dead when it clearly wasn't. They had to pay for their foolishness.

Not nearly so disillusioned and ashamed of the acts of themselves and others, the remaining members of the very dwindled group grabbed up the spears that remained and charged. One had even aimed for the eyes of the beast! Or rather, eye! And the one who had no more spears grabbed up the fallen, broken, burning chunks of the trees and used that as a spear instead. They would not go quietly into the night.

While the demon prince managed some form of victory, it was short lived. Their supposed leader had been tossed to the fires, and most of the party had now been culled and burned. However, it seemed that these creatures did not need a leader, as they still took up arms to try and destroy the demon prince. Sharpened crystals upon spears flew through the air, this time managing to pierce the demon's remaining eye. A wash of liquid fire dribbled from the broken glass that made up his eye, until it too went dark like the rest of them. Now their opponent was blind to the world, unable to see his adversaries. Unknown to the natives however, it did not mean he was deaf or dumb. Instead of using his eyes, the demon turned to his next strongest senses, his hearing and his sense of smell. Being able to sniff out ore among the rock was easy enough, locating the remaining bird-like creatures would be child's play to him. Their smell stood out like a sore thumb among the smoke of the fire and the dry odor of the ground.

Prixlezub's tail swayed from side to side as he sniffed the air, regaining his bearings on the world around him in but moments. His head turned to stare down at the natives, despite having no eyes, the blackened and bloody sockets boring down into the bird-creature's own eyes, in place of the fiery abyss that was there before. Smoke rolled from his grill as he snorted at the remaining members of the party, no doubt choking the air with the infernal smog. Deep, rumbling tones rolled from the demon's chest, sounding very much like laughter, but more menacing. Another puff of smoke and the prince stamped a hoof to the ground, weaving his head from side to side. He could tell where they all were, where they stood, and where they tried to get an advantage on him. Though the demon would have none of that.

Suddenly, the demon turned and lashed out in a wide arc with his tail, tossing the earth and debris into the air. Anyone that was not fast enough to get away from the thick tail would find themselves flung as well, perhaps even into the fire if they were so unlucky. Coming out of his spin, Prixlezub gave but another deep sniff to relocate the natives, before charging at them again. His hooves and claws slammied into the ground like thunder as he careened about, moving this way and that as he attempted to crush the remaining survivors of the party underfoot.

More liquid fire leaked out of the demon's wounds, again their aims proved true! The aliens grinned beneath their skull adornments. The ones who had fallen would not die in vain! Although again, Kop'sirk merely watched, awaiting the demon's retaliation, which would surely be swift and powerful.

The eyes of the demon were now completely dimmed! They had succeeded in blinding it! Once an enemy was blinded, they were easy to kill. They did not taken into account, however, the demon's sense of smell. The demon sniffed the air before glaring down at them. The sight of the empty sockets glaring into their own was extremely intimidating, although they tried not to show it. The air became more polluted with the smog the creature breathed, and they tried to keep their coughs to a minimum. A wicked laughter seemed to seep from its mouth, and then suddenly, the thing lashed out with its tail, sending three of them flying back. Two went flying into the fire, attempting to drag themselves out and put themselves out, but finally collapsing in shrieks of pain.

The third who had been struck by the tail landed short of the fire, but still landed in a way that caused his leg to make a crunch CRACK sound. The warrior howled, and Kop'sirk came to his side, trying to help him the best he could. The beast made to charge at the two who were left, but the blindness finally gave them an advantage, and they dodged it easily. They looked at each other and nodded.

    "FOR OUR TRIBE!"

    "FOR OUR FALLEN BROTHERS!"

The two yelled triumphantly, and charged at Prix, attacking his back legs with the spears they had left, attempting to sever the muscles there.

Sadly, the demon prince was unable to see the natives he had tossed aside, though their screams and the scent of their strange blood was more than enough to give mental images. He did not need his eyes to see the impaled and burning bird-creatures, as he could see them within his mind's eye. Yes, such a satisfying image that was. In fact, he wanted more, more of these foolish natives burning and screaming, until there was no more. Prixlezub heard their cries of outrage and courage, giving but a puff from his grill as if to say their chants meant nothing. The thick smoke rolled from his grill, the demon's maw still hanging loosely from its hinges by muscle alone as he turned his head through it, the embers inside of the smoke seeming to root in his eye sockets and create tiny point of fire within them. In a way, they looked like there were still some kind of fiery pupils within them, glowing like coals before extinguishing on the damaged flesh.

He could feel their spears bite into his hide, digging into the natural armor with great determination to bite at the muscle beneath. However, the prince was not armored with just some sissy titanium or iron, but instead with cybertronian metal. It would not give way so easily to their spears, as the rest of them deflected as he kicked his hoof to rid himself of the irritating things, a low, thundering growl shaking the air. These creatures still thought they could defeat him? Fools, he would destroy them all, whether he had eyes, or none. Their valor and bravery was quite impressive though, since the rest of their kin had fallen to his strength. Prixlezub gave but another puff from his grill, not even needing to figure where they were by smell, as he could hear them plain as day chucking their weaponry at his legs, the rest of the spears deflecting from the hide as they hit at awkward angles.

Prixlezub's tail started to stir again, raising into the air before dashing itself down upon the ground, and the natives who were so obsessed with defeating him. The thick appendage shook the ground like an earthquake upon impact before the prince raised it again to lash it across the dusty floor of the clearing twice more. The resounding thud of the demon's tail could be felt through both ground and bone, as he lashed it out like a whip to swipe the rest of the natives off their feet, and crush them into the ground like the insects they were.

Their spears collided with the armor of the demon, the 'clang's drawing disappointed feelings, and regret. They had barely done damage to this thing for the last few rounds of attacks. And meanwhile, it was quite SPECTACULARLY killing their people. The duo glanced at one another, unsure. It seemed that they were going to die, while this thing lived to destroy their homes and families. They could NOT allow such a thing to happen! But...what could they do?

The demon kicked out with a hoof, the strength from which separated the duo, real brethren, sending one of them careening towards a burning tree. With a shriek, he caught a flame, but the force of the blow had cracked several bones, so all the poor Native could do was sink to the ground in pain, and burn.

"BROTHER!" He wanted to go over and help his brother....but he was frozen in fear, and shock. What could he do?! His brother's skin was burning like oil, tearing through the skin and exposing muscle and blood. His brother was so close to death, if not already dead....to save him now would be a fate worse than death. The living brother turned his head away, closing his eyes with deep sorrow, before facing the demon, with suicidal anger.

"YOU WILL PAY, DEMON! IF NOT BY MY HANDS, THEN THE HANDS OF MY TRIBE! AND IF NOT BY THEM, THEN THE GODS THEMSELVES! You are a foul, evil creature, and we should never have let you go! But your evil deeds far outrank our mistake!" And with that said, the Native merely stood there, waiting to see what the demon would do. The tail of the demon twitched and moved, slamming into the ground with a force that made the Native's legs rumble and throb. The tail suddenly struck out, making him fall to the dusty floor below where he was crushed. As he died, he gave his dying brother a last glance, and surprisingly, his brother looked back. both of their eyes glazed over, together once again in the afterlife of this world. Presumably.

Kop'sirk and the injured Native were all that were left, but they certainly weren't spared either. The tail's lashing had reached them too, such a long appendage, and since both were kneeled to the ground, the tail hit their skulls. The injured one lay, finally dead, as the angle had snapped its neck. Kop'sirk saw half of his vision darkening, but even know, he accepted their fates. They had deserved this, and now, the Gods would do with them what they saw fit.

Even from their underground village, the Natives had heard the noises of the fight. Every rumble, roar, chant, and scream. The young were all huddled together, frightened by the noises they didn't understand, while the females listened to the words of the 4 who had come back.

"A demon? How did it get here?" Questioned one quite plump female. The Elder shook his head.

"We do not know. But you hear the noises out there! It does not matter! The fools who have awakened it are now being slaughtered by it! And surely, we are next! We need to use the very metal we collected from its tomb to make something to hold it with! I do not think it can be killed...demons never die quickly." The female fixed him with an angry gaze, and the Elder blinked back.

"Be careful who you call a fool. My mate might have been smart enough to come back with you, but those are still our males. Brothers, sons, fathers...they might have been foolish to disobey you and awaken it, but you can call them fools in your home, to yourself. Not us." The Elder was slightly taken aback by the female's words, but nodded. She was right, even if he STILL thought them to be fools. "And as for your harness....we shall help you forge this thing. But you and the others must help us determine how big it must be."

The Elder and the three who had come with him, as well as some of the females, carried the large, metal harness to the area where the Elder said the demon was seen. The closer they got, the more they realized that the forest itself was on fire, something very worrying. And once they got close enough....they saw it.

Several corpses in the trees, one the ground, so many dead bodies. Several of the females let out a shriek of horror, seeing their mates squished so cruelly. And then they saw it. The elder's descriptions came nothing close to seeing it face to face. This thing, itself aflame, with black eyes, with the blood of their men on it, as well as its own blood. But it still carried itself in a way that meant it was still so powerful. They couldn't just put it in this harness yet! The last three males charged forward, grabbing up the discarded spears, and aimed for the belly of the beast, vowing vengeance for their brothers.

Finally, the screams and chanting had ceased. The demon's tail stilled once more, his breaths now becoming a bit more ragged from the exertion he had put forth during the fight. Though his wounds were sealed with obsidian, they still bled, the cavity within himself starting to fill with the liquid fire. Ah, but he had won, right? Letting his head lower itself for now, he took a small breather, his nose taking in the scent of the bloodstained earth , the sickly sweet smell of blood that filled his nose and brought him such satisfaction. However, he was not so quick to think that he had won the war, as this was obviously only a small party of warriors. They probably never expected that he would attack them, more or less looking to the one who had grinned up stupidly at him like as if he were some important god or guardian. Phah, fools, all of them. Though the demon prince had certainly proved that well enough, now had he?

Prixlezub flexed his torn claws, lungs heaving as he tried to regain his breath from the fight. Even though he was quite strong, the demon prince could only endure so much without being able to regenerate. The wound to his stomach was a crucial blow, and the fact that the aliens had targeted the wound did not make things much better. A sort of throbbing started up in the demon's thoat, having been pushed aside during the fight, but now coming up as the most sickly feeling he had since the fight with Swindle. He groaned and wheezed, finally crouching over and opening his throat. A lake of fiery blood poured from his gullet like a waterfall to splatter onto the ground, complete with chunks of flesh from where it had been torn by the demoness' "surgery" and the native's spears. His body was trying to rid itself of the dead tissue, unable to repair it due to the prince's lack of a stomach. The demon would continually do this for quite a while, as long as blood still filled the cavity where that necessary organ had been. While his body had quite a few perks, it was never without a downside, and with sealing up his wounds he had blocked the blood from exiting his body vial the gouge. Prixlezub heaved a few times more, another cascade of lava-like blood erupting from his mouth as his body tried to relieve itself of excess blood. After a good ten minutes of heaving and panting, it seemed the prince had finally cleared out enough blood and dead tissue for his body to stop purging itself. Now he just stood there, his legs shuddering from the sudden and unnatural action. Smoke and embers rolled from his grill and maw as he breathed deeply, trying to stop his head from spinning.

Of all the damn things Layla had to have gone and done. Prixlezub may have deserved it, but damned if he was not bitter about the whole ordeal.

What was that? To the south, it sounded like footsteps, many footsteps. The demon prince turned and straightened himself, refusing to allow the shame of looking so weak to his opponents. Though his head still pounded and his limbs shook, the demon prince still would appear quite imposing. Blind, yet still managing to stare straight into the faces of those that shrieked and wailed with horror and agony over the ones that had been killed. Smoke puffed from the demon's grill as he regarded the remaining villagers, or at least the ones he could detect. The air was thick with adrenaline and fear, blood and death. Though it did not take Prixlezub but a moment to hear the remaining braves charge at him, their feet pounding against the dampened soil. One spear managed to land in the demon's hide, though the tip of it merely left a dent in the thick armor. The rest simply had skimmed the surface of his hide, deflected by the shape of his belly and the way he had turned about to keep track of the minuscule creatures. The ones that shrieked and mourned would not dare fight him. They would make for great hostages.

Dismissing the remaining braves, Prixlezub quickly galloped over to the females of the village, slamming his tail in front of them while he curled his head about to snarl and encircle the flanks with his thick arms and pointed teeth. The smell of sulfur and napalm would fill their noses as the demon's broken eyes seemed to glare them despite being but darkened sockets. The demon prince lifted his head to 'stare' at the braves, puffing smoke from his grill as if in amusement to how foolish his prey had been. The fact that the demon prince now encircled them, and the low rumble that rippled from his throat and to the ground would certainly make the hostages think twice about running off. Especially since there was drips of fiery blood falling from his maw and to the ground below, remnants of his earlier purge. Then, as if to make his point clear, he let forth a great torrent of fire at the remaining warriors, strafing the ground in front of him with the searing hot temperatures. Even if he was unable to hit the natives, the resulting line across the ground would be warning enough.

The prince's darkened eye sockets stared at the remaining braves, his brows furrowed and glaring as if to say: "Don't you dare make a move if you want your widows to live."

    Fire Tongue:

Prixlezub can breathe fire in torrents, bursts, ribbons, tongues and even shoot fireballs from his maw and grill. The fire itself is around 4000 degrees Celsius, or around 7000 degrees Fahrenheit. This is above the melting point of diamond.

three dice, one coin. If the coin HITS a status die is rolled for the duration of the burn. A separate coin that is half of Prix's level will be rolled to determine the damage for that amount of turns.

The sight of fire, blood, and flesh had not gone unnoticed, but how could the Natives know it came from this great, evil creature? Similar to him seeing them as pests, they saw him as a beast. An almost godlike beast at that! A demon! No one could injure it THAT MUCH, where it vomited up its own flesh, right? Except maybe another demon..

The blinded demon met their gazes, the auditory horrors of the widows having drawn his attention. The Elder glared, trying not to give away how his legs shook at the sight of it. The demon the others had so foolishly unleashed upon them all. It was obviously injured, but not enough. Not enough to capture it and detain it. The spears of the ones who charged left little damage, either barely hitting it or bouncing off harmlessly. The Elder let out a small curse. This wasn't going well for them.

And it was about to go straight to Hell in a Hand basket. The demon had leapt over, using its tail and arms to snatch up the mourning widows, the Elder letting off the same curse as before. In such close range with the beast who had killed their mates, the widows stopped their shrieking, if only to not draw its attention anymore than they already had. The demon's mouth and snout gave off such horrible smells, burning their noses and eyes with all the smoke. How could such a creature possibly come into being? Who could have created this monstrosity, so filled with blood lust and fire! Certainly not the Gods!

The demon stared back at the males, and burned the ground before them with a great flame. None of them had been hit luckily, they needed all the warriors they could get, but this resulted in a flaming line between them, and the Demon who had most of the females of their village. The Elder's fist shook, glaring at the demon with a rather strong hatred for one of his delicate age. How could such a benevolent day become so...wretched.
