Megamind was stunned by the trick Kisame pulled and yelped in pain as the sword slashed his side. Ouch, that blade hurt every bit as much as he thought it would, but he was distracted by Ridley breathing fire all over Link. That had to smart, he was glad his clock gave him some protection from fire. He made a mental note to thank Minion again when he got home from this fight.

The inventor scanned the battle field for an instant then his gaze moved to Ridley, he was the most hurt and perhaps it was unfair, but this was a brawl! He took aim at Ridley. "This is for sitting on me earlier, buster." He fired and a red bolt shot at the cyborg.....

(Butting in to begin to end what everyone agreed to end~)

Ridley watched events unfold. The burning Link stabbed his sword into Ridley's leg and pulled it out again once the damage was done, but it didn't do too much and Samara's attack trumped it in every way with the shockwave sent out. Ridley was zapped and roasted from the shockwave, feeling terrible. Dammit, electricity was what he wasn't strong against in this form! Megamind fired at him too, and the blast hit due to Ridley being slow from temporary paralysis. There was a good side effect of the paralysis though, and that was that he didn't feel the blast much.

The effects of the shockwave wore off soon enough, and Ridley went to attack- but wait, no. Suddenly, he began blurring in the air as he looked left and right. "How dare you interrupt me, lowly Phantoon!" He growled, irritated, before he completely faded out of the current space he was in. Damn that Phantoon and his dimensional abilities! Regardless, Ridley was gone, and therefore the host was no longer there.

What does everyone do now? Continue, or stop?

The sound of sandals lightly clomping in the grass of the meadow could have been easily overlooked by any and all fighters, including the very one this man was here for. When he scaled the ridge, the combatants could see him completely-he wore a long, buttoned black-and-red robe with the same patterns on it as Kisame himself. He also donned a very specific hat, the same one Kisame had begun the battle by throwing away. Shame too, because the hat was their only form of camouflage now. Or at least, it hid their identities. When the man spoke, it wasn't as though he sounded cruel or evil. But he did not sound friendly, almost as if he could both join the fight alongside Kisame or pull out refreshments for the weary fighters.

"...Kisame...we will withdraw."

The entirety of Kisame's attention was drawn to this man, he completely blocked the rest of the fighters out. His smile, showing he enjoyed the battle, quickly vanished and was replaced with a deep frown. Nevertheless, he chuckled, stood up straight, and replaced Samehada on his back.

"Heh, I doubt withdrawing would do us any good now!"

"I have discovered that we might find what we're looking for in another Gamma...let us make haste."

Kisame nodded, gave one last shark-like grin to his fellow fighters, and then in a flash the two where gone. The blasted down the hillside and entered the treeline. The two were never seen again.

And just like that, Ridley was gone! Link blinked at the air where the space dragon's leg was and could only see the end of his hookshot which was supposed to be embedded in Ridley's thigh. Blink. Blink. Had this been a cartoon, one would have saw the dotted outline of Ridley blinking on the screen at the position he was a second ago. Blink. Blink.

Then Link flailed.

Oh Great Sea! High up in the air. Nothing to anchor his hookshot to and plummeting fast!

"Gwaaaaaaaaaah!" he shrieked, limbs waving as if the action could keep him airborne and stop the earth from hurtling towards him at breakneck speed. He shuffled through his inventory quickly, yanking out a his giant deku leaf before 'Heeeyup!' he turned himself around. His hands held onto both ends of the giant leaf and he opened it up with a whoosh of air, his progress to the ground slowing as he used the item as a parachute. He sighed both from relief and also from the feeling of his magic draining away as the magic leaf reinforced its lining so as not to tear from the force it met from the sudden parachute-like opening.

Link drifted down to the ground, landing softly onto the grass just as Kisame and his fellow cloudy cloaked ninja disappeared. "Aaaa...." the boy sounded, glancing between Megamind, Psyche and Samara before looking over to the spots Ridley and Kisame were at moments before. He lifted his shoulders in a shrug. What do they do now?

Psyche watched Ripley disappear in wonder. There was no magic in it, so she had to suppose that it was technology that did it. She watched, just as surprised when Link floated down upon a leaf. She gave him a bit of deserved applause-he was quite resourceful! She turned in time to see Kisame leave and shrugged. None of her concern, nope.

She regarded the rest of them. Link gave an uncertain shrug. Hmm... what to do? "I don't know about the rest of you but I am willing to continue this great battle. It will be worthwhile, just to see where it goes and for the experience. I am quite certain at one point or another, we will need this. So why not? Who shall continue this with me?"

Samara just stood, mouth gaping at the space Kisame and Ridley once occupied mere moments ago. Seriously? They just LEFT like that? What the-

" What the hell! You've got to be kidding me!" the gynoid shouted in frustration, the anger apparent on her face, flashing across her eyes in a bright red color. Well, there goes two prime targets for the spar....wait.

This wasn't over, Psyche for sure was still in for the long run. Link, didn't look too sure, but it seemed that he was probably going to stick around. The little elfin boy had a good amount of fight in him, hopefully he wasn't deterred by the absence of two of their brawlers. Megamind though? It was unsure whether or not the blue alien would agree.

Samara sighed, rubbing her forehead a bit, " I dunno, Psyche....I'd LIKE to continue...but this is getting ridiculous...Megs? Link? What do you guys suggest?"

"You're kidding right?" Obviously not as first Ridley then Kisame vanished. Great, sharky slashes his side open then vanishes. What a snaffu this had become! Muttered vexedly the alien saw Link float to the ground using a leaf for a parachute. Nice presentation, Link! He laughed when Psyche started clapping.

Link landed and looked at them and shrugged uncertainly, Psyche suggested they continue then Sam asked for their opinion. "It seems like an awful waste to go through these wounds and quit. I will continue the fight if the rest of you agree."

Link glanced from Psyche to Samar to Megamind before pocketing his leaf and grinning widely with a glint in his eye. He was only too happy to continue the the fight. After all, how often do you get and excuse to beat several people you know at the same time. Though of course it was probably more likely that he'll end up being the one getting beaten since he seems to have suffered the worse damage of the lot.

He wiped his sword on the grass before giving it a powerful swipe across the air, ready to continue the fight if they chose to. IF they really choose to that is.

Psyche bowed. "Then we should take a break and adjourn to heal wounds and begin anew. I trust that we will when the time comes." She tossed each a tiny bauble. Where did she get it? Who knew. She held up one that she kept for herself, to show all of them.

It gave off a gentle lavender light for her-each would find their baubles lit up their own personal colors, also giving off either heat or a noticeable buzz, very much like an old-style pager. "When it comes time to fight, it will light up and call you to fight. Go ahead and keep them however long you want, even after." She told them.

She bowed. "We can have another epic battle then."

She was wet with green blood but looked excited for such a thing, even as she walked along on her way away from the battlefield.

Samara was surprised at the sudden change of heart going on around her. Then again, when she looked at her internal watch...OH SHIT.

" Well dammit...I guess I overestimated my time here as well...I guess Psyche's got a good idea guys. I got to head to work in an hour." Samara said, disappointment clear in her tone. Hand to god, Sam was not wanting to leave..but she had to go and work or else Drakken would have a conniption for her being late.

When Psyche handed over a small glowing bauble to everyone, she stated that these items would glow when the time came to finish their battle at a later date. Samara gazed down at the bauble in her palm as it started to glow a mix of cyan and minty colors. Well..she'd definitely keep this one even after their next battle. Placing the item in her pocket, Samara looked up at Link and Megamind, " We finish this another time guys. Thanks for being troopers." she said.

With a smile, Samara headed off and away from the open field, heading back to the city.

Megamind caught the globe and studied it. Interesting, Roxanne would love it. He pocketed it. "Agreed. We will continue this at another time when we have healed and prepared. He removed his cloak and cubed it as he walked to his hoverbike. "Good bye Sammi, Psyche." He stopped as Samara walked off and looked at Link. "Long walk back to the city, Link.....care for a ride to the inn?"

The inventor had seen the look on the boy's face when he had arrived and it certainly was not a problem to stop by the inn on his way home. He figured it would be a special treat for Link as well. Mounting the bike, he started the engine which caught with a powerful roar. Once Link decided and was on then he took off, heading for the city.

Link snatched his bauble out of the air, stared at it in his hand for a good few seconds as it glowed a nice bright green glow. His fairies might like this. He wondered if Psyche would mind terribly if he chose to keep the bauble even after its use had passed. He also wondered what kind of light it would give off when the call did come. Change colours? Glow brighter? Flash?

But before he could ask, he was aptly distracted by and offer to get on Megamind's bike. Care for a ride? CARE FOR A RIDE?!

Before the inventor could pull back the offer, LInk was beside the vehicle with eyes as wide as dinners plates, mouth opened in awe and hands on the bike it was the most awesome thing he'd seen. He copied the taller man in getting on the bike, putting his hands on his shoulders and glancing around excite- eeeerrrr, noooooooo, he wasn't excited, no no. He schooled his expression from childish glee in favour of the 'I do this everyday' kind of cool look even if his eyes still danced a bit too engertically to suit the look and even if his mouth kept twitching to reveal the giant grin underneath.
