[2011] October Spotlights

This month's character of the month is 5, a sentient ragdoll that is quite new to Portal
Breach. He's only been here a month, and yet he's already had an impact. An all around
friendly guy, 5 has his moments of nervousness and timidness, and is still haunted by
the experiences from his homeworld, but the friends he has made seem to have remedied
this thus far. 5 has become close with Samara, who protects 5 and watches over him,
Kev, who is similar to him in terms of friendliness and timidness, and even shares a fondness
for fire and explosions with him, and Megamind, who has even created a ring for the small
ragdoll, allowing him to grow to 5 feet, a much better alternative from his usually small size.
We expect great things from 5.

Samara || Shadow Man

Bleu first joined PB about a year ago as Shift, an interesting new robot, but due to
real life issues, she dropped into the pile of inactive accounts and disappeared newbies.
She's back now though, and with a vengeance! With a redesigned Shift as her first
character, we've already watched Shift become Samara, watched her try to take
Megamind back from the hands of Ridley, and now she's in two mini-plots, which are
moving steadily along. Also on Bleu's character list is Shadowman, who, albiet a still
new character, has much promise.

Dr. Drakken || Samara

Despite the previous holders of this title, the characters of Drakken and Samara
are not a romantic one at all, heavens no! Samara works for Drakken in his pastry
shop, alongside her coworker Zippy, and Dr. Drakken functions as her boss.
There's more to them then that, though. Drakken holds his employees to be a
part of his 'evil family' and Samara is no exception to this. He functions as an
overprotective father to both her and Zippy, and Samara seems to appreciate this.
A relationship built on trust, relationships like this make us remember that PB isn't all
about romance, its the familial and friendly relationships that helps us grow closer.

The Icelands

The Icelands are still very new, and haven't been explored as much as say, the Coast
has, but recently, its been surging with activity. The Icelands was the location for the kidnap
and rescue of Megamind, who was kidnapped by Ridley and saved by Samara. It is also the
location for a mini plot going on right now, a kart race that's going great so far! A more
secretive location within the Icelands is the lair of Prixlezub, a volcano field with a long and
complicated name. This place needs more love though, so why not visit it today?
