Oh, there's tension in the air tonight.

Night. The dead of night. That was the current time, long since the citizens of Portal Breach had gone to bed and were fast asleep, expecting the night to be a peaceful one. For most of them, it was indeed a peaceful night. But for a few, it was about to turn sour. The crescent moon was out at it's full tonight, no clouds in the sky as it and the stars shone their light down on the land of Portal Breach. If one looked in the right direction, they would find nocturnal humans wandering around outside, but there were so few of them that the ones that did exist were almost nonexistant to the world, few actually knowing of them. Some humans were criminals, ones that purposely broke into peoples houses and took what they would.

To look at Portal Breach from afar, it was a very dim city at night. The street lights didn't do all that much to light up the way, and most indoor lights were turned off. There was an eerie silence in the air tonight, and anyone who lived in the area would agree. It was unusually tense.

Covered by darkness and invisible unless you looked hard enough, you could see the shape of a dragon. It was of course, Ridley. Although Ridley wasn't actually a dragon, he just looked the part, it was enough to scare off anyone that did see him. The Zebesian felt no need to camouflage himself on this dark night; no-one could see very well in the dark alley and the only people who had dared challenge Ridley, a group of nighttime bikers that thought 'this area of town was their area' had been disposed of, their bodies and blood lying on the ground, completely invisible in darkness until dawn broke and the sun revealed the secrets of the night.

It was time. Emerging from the shadows, Ridley looked around, his eyesight allowing him to see in complete darkness. Jane should be arriving soon. The cyborg had met Ridley in Sanctuary, and he had overheard her plans of a looting but was unsure when. He'd told her that she could do it tonight and he'd help her, but he wasn't along for the spoils; human currency was useless to him and the metals that could be found in the houses of Portal Breach would not help his experiments and inventions in the slightest, they were far too flimsy for such matters. This beast had come along with the promise of a little silent destruction and doing things they weren't allowed to do. Ridley looked to the right after hearing a slight noise and saw, some distance away, a silhouette that was too far to make out, but he was positive that it was Jana. Ridley waited to see if he was correct, or if Jana had decided not to come along.

Jana had been in the sanctuary talking to Livewire about what you did while going camping. She hadn't done anything with the girl away from the sanctuary and going camping with Overcast was on the top of her list of fun things to do. Livewire had become one of her best, youngest, and innocent friend. Jana got a long with almost any sort of crowd, which brings us to the other type of crowd she hung out with; people, or alien creatures in this case, like Ridley. They both had something in common; they liked destruction. Jana was always someone for causing destruction, but it was even better when you had people to do it with. She couldn't take Livewire out for destruction, that was a big no, and most of her other friends were either too busy, or were never around. It was one reason why she had decided to go with Ridley Portal General after he had overheard her talking about it.

Jana stealthily made her way to and then through Portal General. The dark streets helped her hid in the darkness, dodging any source of light. The cyborg was well trained in the art of stealth when she set her mind to it. As she made her way through the streets to Ridley she almost tripped over something soft and squishy. It seemed Ridley had disposed of those bikers that had been hanging around the area. She chuckled to herself as she finally came across where Ridley stood. Her optic glowed a more green color as her night vision was on and she was able to see in complete darkness because of it. A can silently rolled to Ridley's taloned feet to signify her arrival.

The cyborgs lone optic was the only thing noticeable in the dark covered street, its green light shining brightly. "Hey, Ridley" she stated silently, a smug grin. "Glad ya showed up."

Suddenly, something hit Ridleys foot. He glanced down at it. A can had rolled into it, signalling a prescence other than his own.
"Hey, Ridley. Glad ya showed up."
It could be no other than Jana. Good, she came. Not that Ridley had doubted that she would; she seemed to love crime and this was a perfect opportunity. "Likewise, Jana. I trust you're all set? If so, let us begin. This will be a very fun night." Ridley was a lover of death and destruction. He would take things too, provided they were rare enough metals. He needed rare metals for his experiments, and he was considering building more robots like Mecha Ridley. He couldn't build them with pathetic metals like the ones humans used. They were just too flimsy and easy to break.

Ridley looked around, knowing that Jana was most likely all set. "If there's any houses that you would prefer to do first, speak up now." He had no preference as to which house they picked, provided he got to destroy something in the process. Showing the humans exactly how weak they and their possessions were was extremely fun. Even the most technologically advanced race had been inferior to him in his own world, so that put humans very low on the hierarchy. Ridley waited for an answer.
