Ah, good. She was coming up to fight! The kick to the mandibles he dodged yet again, and the warrior circled his fallen combatant.

Rasa'Jeqkogomee watched the Tally, her body broken and spent, and he sneered down upon her. "To bleed in combat is the most honorable way to spill yourself. And if you are alive, you can still fight yet!" And to prove his point, the Tally had risen to the offensive!

Her fighting style now was unlike any he had ever seen, and Rasa'Jeqkogomee watched with intense delight. The Tally's body warped and contorted, her body mangled, and yet she still fought him. Glorious! A true warrior would make use of anything to become a weapon, and if the Tally had to use her very bone to pierce his flesh then so let it be! It must be ordained by the code of the warrior! He watched her body twist and spin, the Tally's limbs like strange ropes, and in her mad and strange dance he participated with her.

When she took the lead, he followed and when she swung her ragged blades his way Rasa'Jeqkogomee stepped to the side. Such was the dance of the Broken Warrior.

But even despite the Tally's brave dancing, the Covenant soldier had proved to be too superior. None of the Tally's blows had connected and finally, Rasa'Jeqkogomee put a stop to the human's dance. Using a single hand the alien shoved the Tally down upon the bloodied ground with ease, and he planted a hard foot upon her barren and sliced abdomen. It was to both inflict mild damage and to keep the Tally there so Rasa'Jeqkogomee could stare harshly upon the human that so desired to keep fighting even when her body could possibly not.

"Do you yield, the Tally, or do you embrace the warrior's plight and fight until you are no longer conscious?" It was up to the Tally now to decide how the human wanted to take this. For Rasa'Jeqkogomee's people they would fight until the better end. Blood had been split upon this battlefield, and the only way to reclaim such a disgrace was to demand the blood of the other in glorious combat! The requirement had thus been fulfilled, however, and Rasa'Jeqkogomee knew very well that this was an honorable spar not a fight to the death.

Snorting and clicking his mandibles, Rasa'Jeqkogomee shook his shoulders, the blood caked and dried upon them. "Your answer, the Tally? I eagerly await your decision."

((Thank you! Tally has done very well herself. If it is of no consequence to you, I can have Rasa'Jeqkogomee summon the aid of the hospital, or Rasa'Jeqkogomee can carry Tally himself. Doctors are not honored in his culture, but they are necessary and his blood has already been avenged with Tally's. Do you wish for this to happen?))

Her body hit the ground with a very solid "thump". Her blows failing to hit any of their marks, and it was far beyond her comprehension, as if she could comprehend anything anymore, why Rasa had missed in hitting her.

But of course as stated before she really couldn't comprehend anything anymore. Or even hear Rasa as he spoke to her, maybe it was because her back was turned to him that he couldn't see that she was already knocked out cold on the ground.

She had given her all in the fight but in the end the toil of the day and the pain of her injuries coupled with bloodloss had incapacitated her. If she could have answered though she would have crawled over to him and bitten at his ankles.

However it was not to be.

(if you wouldn't mind calling the medics or having rasa take her to the hospital. Either one would be great. It'd be rather hard for her to dial for help with her tongue. :> )

    The Tally was no more.

Disappointment filled Rasa'Jeqkogomee's bosom and the proud Sangheili relieved his heavy foot upon the human girl's chest. Fallen! The Tally had fallen! It would seem that the human girl could no longer continue, her wounds too great, and the warrior knelt before the Tally's fallen and prone form. "You fought well, the Tally. Despite you being of weaker frame, you fought with a warrior's spirit and heart. You have earned your respite." Although blood had been spilled and doctors were lowly, the alien had to think beyond his cultural training. Both of them were wounded and needed medical attention, and to live was greater than to die with one's wounded pride. Yes, he was going to seek help from medical staff.

Now pleased with the fight and satiated with glorious combat, Rasa'Jeqkogomee glanced around the battlefield and picked up the Tally's weapons. They were shattered, a sign that the blades were not as superior, but he would judge not a warrior's weapon and treat it with respect it deserved. Shard by shard and piece by piece he collected the components and wrapped them up as best he could in the Tally's ravaged shirt. Afterwards he approached the Tally herself and carefully, he lifted her broken body and hefted the human girl upon a broad shoulder. Weapon in hand and the Tally upon him, the alien was set onto the road of recovery. And what a long walk it would be.

"It is time we reach the hospital." Rasa'Jeqkogomee shook his great head and started out of the coliseum. It had lived its purpose.

    A new Great Journey beckons.

((I do not mind taking Tally to medical staff. It would be comical to dial the cellular phone with tongue, but also cruel!))
