Kev stood on top of a building as he overlooked the city. It didn't look quite right to him. It was...normal. It needed something to make it prettier...perhaps fire....he rocked on his heels a bit, axe clenched closely as he kept surveying the city. Oh, today was strange. Even in his current state, he knew that. But unlike earlier today....he didn't care now.

When he went into the sanctuary, he'd freaked out and worried, and got hushed and kicked and thrown outside for his efforts. So he gave up. Why bother fighting anyway, or being worried. And the more frustrated he got, as usual, the more inclined he felt to just run outside and take out his frustrations by lighting things on fire. And the second he had given in with Shadow Link, the farther he'd fallen. He felt...happy. And not the usual happy, he felt.....deliriously happy. Especially when he got to watch everything burn to a crisp.

But fire only does so much, there was so much more to do! So he had grabbed up an axe as well, and began to chop. Not into people of course, but doors, windows, cars, the works. Although with all of the screaming, he was feeling more inclined to just.end their screaming forever.

His grip tightened a bit on the axe. He was still a bit uneasy about chopping into people or burning them, but there were some who were ruining his hard work, the masterful fires he and Prix had been making. How dare they? It was just like people here, they see something beautiful and they want to GET RID OF IT. He let out a small hiss at the thought of it.

But that was okay. He didn't care. He didn't care for much right now, except of course for the fire. And the people helping him to MAKE fire. Such...beautiful fire...that's what this place needed was fire.... Portal Breach, covered in flames, how absolutely delightful! He let out a small, happy trill at the thought of it, and stared down at the city streets below him. They needed fire...and he would provide, along with Prixlezub, Jana, Shadow Link, whoever wanted to help! Together, they could make something absolutely beautiful!

"This flame in my heart is burning and yearning to be free!~ I must simply share it with the WOOOORLD!~~" Kev sang out, twirling a bit with his axe, before he grabbed up a gallon of gasoline. "And you shall help, my friend!~ Together we shall make this world a dozen times greater!~" He chuckled, before he began to pour the gasoline over the roof, where it pooled and spread into the streets of Portal City. Unfortunately, his own gloves had run out of juice, so the actual flame would have to wait until Prixlezub came.

So until then, Kev watched the gasoline run through the streets, and could already imagine it on fire and burning, creating the lovliest flames. He could also hear the screams of the people who might be caught in the flames.

But he didn't care.

And here came the first guest to Kev's little destruction party.

The demon prince thundered through the city, smashing lamp posts with his tail and tossing cars aside with his claws. Ah, the prince had never felt so happy in ages! Even the thought of the police finding him failed to loom over his mind, allowing the demon to act freely and destructively. Reflecting back, the huge demon would soon realize that he had not indulged in this kind of activity since his times back in Automotive Hell. It was like he was ransacking the puny villages of the mortal world all over again! Ah, good times, good times. Prixlezub lowered his head to toss a bus with his horns, sending the vehicle flying thanks to his powerful neck muscles. To add to the chaos, the prince turned his head and sprayed the surrounding buildings with his fiery breath, the 4000 degree flames literally melting the buildings down to puddles or molten ore and rock. If anyone were foolish enough to cross the demon during his rampage, they would certainly have hell to pay.

Speaking of which, up ahead the demon spotted a familiar green alien with an axe, no doubt it was Kev. The prince put on a toothy grin and trotted up beside the man, leaning his head down to talk to the alien.

"Greetings, Kev!" The demon boomed, embers puffing from his grill. "I take it we will be destroying more of this pathetic city. The buildings cannot even stand up to my breath!"

The demon threw his head back and laughed some, obviously finding his words amusing. Smoke and fire puffed and billowed from the demon's maw as his laughter shook the air and the ground, while his huge claws pounded the asphalt into chunks of rock with each step.

Blade felt cooped up in his stupid little apartment and figured he should go out for a walk. He remembered how he felt slamming Kat into the wall after all the crap the kid put him through. He knew it was probably a dickish thing to do but it felt refreshing. The more he thought about it the more wanted a taste of that feeling again. After all he had given up drinking, partying , hooking up and smoking. He was sick of giving things up. He shoved the part of his mind that kept telling him to stop this to the side. He stopped as he noticed the gasoline at his feet and heard Kev's voice.


For a moment he thought of Derek and wished the psycho could be here. So Blade could give him the beat down he deserved. His fists clenched and he took a deep breath. He navigated around the fire to find the alien.

"Bloody hell, Kev why'd it have to be fire?" he asked.

This was great, everyone had decided to start killing each other. Shadow Link couldn't think of anything more amusing to watch! And even more, they were going to burn the town again, and this time he didn't even have to frame another Link for it, no one cared. He grinned as Kev poured the oil all over the town, he knew that stuff not only from here but from Hyrule where a pot of oil, lit on fire, would act as a fantastic explosion of flames that could ignite half a mountainside.

The shadow tossed a few bombs through store windows, and laughed as they blew the insides to pieces. He felt much more free somehow than he had for a while in this place, though it wasn't something he understood or could explain.

Shadow Link joined in with Prix's laughter, "HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Oh yes, this was going to be fun!

The alien was brought out of his daydreaming when he heard crashing and screaming. Oh, that had to be Prix! He bounced on the balls of his feet and hugged the axe close, oh joy, the flames would start soon!

"Greetings Prixlezub!~" He said, tossing a small bow in there before nodding excitedly. "Yes, yes, we must make this place crumble and burn, make it better, so much better!" He trilled, sounding ever so happy. And he just got happier as Prixlezub laughed and fire came billowing off, and Kev watched the fire, amazed. That was why he adored this creature, he was made of fire, could make even more fire! It was absolutely splendid!

Kev tilted his head and watched as Blade showed up. Oh, another friend, did he come to help make this place better? "Why wouldn't it be fire, silly boy!~ Fire causes everything to be so much better, it makes the world oh so grand~" he said, swooning a bit.

Kev looked down at the streets as Shadow Link appeared and destroyed the buildings with his marvelous bombs. Oh, could today get any better?

Apparently it could, because one of the flames coming from Prixlezub finally made contact with the gasoline in the streets, and lit it all on fire in just seconds. Kev watched, eyes wide and mystified, like a kid in a candy store, as the flames lit up the city as it began to spread throughout various streets, getting larger and growing. But even then, it wasn't enough.

He grabbed the axe closer and began to walk off of the roof via the fire escape, ha irony, and began to skip down the streets, swinging the axe to and fro, chopping through a telephone pole until it finally came crashing down.

"Join me, everyone, there's still so much to do!~" He laughed before skipping even further down the street, dodging the trial of fire that was burning brightly in the middle of the roads.

"Indeed Kev, Indeed!" The prince bellowed, slicing a car in half with his tail blade. Ohoho, this was going to be the best time ever!

The prince soon noticed Blade and Shadow Link joining them, a grin appearing on his great maw. Prixlezub knew that the shadow child enjoyed destruction, but he never thought of such behavior from Blade. From all the times he had been around him, the demon thought the boy was good for nothing but whining and fruit smoothies. This was certainly a turn for the better in the prince's mind. That is, IF he was there to destroy the city along with them. There would be no breaking up of this if he could stand it! The prince reared up and roared, spewing more fire into the sky, the billowing flames tinted the buildings red in it's glow for a few moments. The sound of the boisterous rumbling and roaring shook the air, while the demon's feet coming back down onto the pavement shook the ground for a good mile.

"Come, Shadow Link! Let us destroy these puny things the mortals call 'buildings', make their bricks scatter upon the ground!" The prince boomed, whipping his head around and unleashing a torrent of fire upon a building.

The large structure was no match for the prince's fire, as even the bricks and metal framing soon bubbled and boiled into molten rock. The newly made magma oozed and bubbled over the cement, catching a few storefronts ablaze. As for the buildings next to it, the demon made short work of them with a head-butt from his horns. Prixlezub laughed at the people who fled from the building like rats from a sinking ship, making it a priority to make sure they burned along with the city. With a puff of fire from his grill, they too were running in flames, the majority of them turning to ash before they even took three steps.

Ah, yes. This place was going to be leveled to the ground by the time they were done.

"Come, Shadow Link! Let us destroy these puny things the mortals call 'buildings', make their bricks scatter upon the ground!"

Shadow Link snickered. "Yeah-heh! Good bye, buildings!" He laughed, smashing open a door with his mallet and then kicking a big bomb inside. He pulled the half-broken door closed again and flew back as people inside screamed at the sight of the bomb. He spun to face his handy-work, and moments later the bomb went off, making the building shake on it's foundation as every window blew out. The building stood for a bout ten seconds and then began to collapse. Beautiful.

"Why wouldn't it be fire, silly boy!~ Fire causes everything to be so much better, it makes the world oh so grand~"

Blade only smirked a bit. "If you say so." he said. He wasn't fond of fire but far be it from him to hamper the fun of others. He rolled his eyes at Prix's hamminess and took out a can of beer and a lighter.

"How can I be of assistance?"

Kev paused in his destruction to look as he felt Prix's heavy foot steps thunder behind him Prix urged Shadow Link to come along and Kev held his axe closely, as he watched the destruction the two were causing.

Prixlezub had absolutely demolished a building, occupants and all. Such beautiful use of fire, it was damn near poetic! Such lovely and effective fire to be spreading among the populous!~ Shadow Link himself had wrenched a door open and tossed a bomb inside, and while bombs were not as impressive as fire, they were still pretty damn impressive. He clasped his hands together joyfully and sighed, enthralled and enjoying the fires they were creating.

Kev looked at Blade to see if he was coming, and beamed as much as a mouthless alien can when he saw beer and a lighter in Blade's hands. Oh happy day!~ Nearly all of his friends were here with him on the greatest day of his life!~ He glanced around before seeing an abandoned car, ripe for the picking.

He hoisted up his axe and busted every single window in gleefully, before stepping back. "You can be of assistance by setting this lovely car on fire!~" He trilled happily. Of course, once it got going, they'd have to back up, gasoline and all that.

As Blade watched Kev bust up the car he lit a cigarette and stuck it in his mouth. "Nice a bit on the side of overkill though" He mused to himself puffing smoke.

When Kev stopped to address him he smirked and cracked his knuckles. "Watch and learn, Kev" he said. He stepped forward, opened the beer can and took a sip before pouring it's contents all over the car. He took out his lighter and leaned toward an alcohol soaked area to light it up. The fire quickly spread over the busted up car, causing Blade to jump back a bit.

He sniffed the air and then took his cigarette out to breath. "Fifty bucks says it'll burn for a good hour"

Kev indeed stood back and watched happily as Blade used the beer and a match to light the car on fire. He ignored the overkill comment, completely hypnotized by the way the flames grow and moved around the car.

"I bet the same amount that it'll burn for 2 hours!"" Kev finally answered gleefully, hands clasped together. But as much fun as this was, he still wanted to do MORE. But unfortunately, he had no idea, and the others in this destruction party seemed to have disappeared.

"What should we do now Blade?" He asked, surveying the destruction so far.

Zippy walked through the city, thinking about not really having a place to crash right now since Barry was all nutty. Jacket on, wearing a dress under it and some boots. A cigarette dangled from between her lips, and to put it nicely: she looked a bit bad. Scratch that. She looked terribad. Her makeup was smeared, her hair in a messy bun, and it was obvious she hadn't slept in forever. She strolled through the city, being careful about some random creatures running around, knocking shit over. She kicked a trashcan that rolled out in front of her, flicking her cigarette at a running critter. It hissed and screeched, running down an alley.

Damn creatures. She looked up, noticing the city going to hell in a handbasket-quite literally. Wha-maybe she would find Barry? She wandered towards the chaos, lighting up a new square. Her lighter didn't want to quite work, so after getting it, she tossed it aside. Now...what was going on? More importantly-did they need cupcakes?

"Hey. You all. The fuck goin' on?"

Kev turned at the familiar voice and saw Zippo! A very rough looking Zippo. Kev skipped over to the woman and hugged her, still looking somewhat manic.

"Zippy!~ Hi!~ How're you? did you come to destroy things too? Or just to watch the fire?~" He asked, turning to watch the fires on the city and buildings burn before turning back to Zippy. "Also, you look horrible, are you okay?"

Oh, everyone's favorite mouthless alien! She should've known he was behind all the fire. That little deviant. She hugged him back, figuring it was just the fire making him look like a maniac. That's what she hoped, at least... She wasn't sure how much insanity she could take in one day. This was like thrice the normal level!

"Just watching...Why are we destroying things?" Had the whole place gone mad?! As for Kev's question..."Had a nightmare, woke up as something ran by my window, and...well, Barry went crazy, tried killing Cailia and she drug me and my pets out of there." She frowned, then looked around. No sign of the serial killer. Well...bummer. "Speaking of, have you seen him?" She pulled back, looking at Kev. Huh. He should sit down for a bit. She drug him over to a concrete block against a building and sat on it, watching the chaos.

Kev tilted his head and blinked slowly, digesting everything the Zipster was saying. She had a nightmare, and Barry tried killing Cailia? How strange! Perhaps the cause of his own craziness, and Prix and Sl's had caused Barry to go crazy too! ....Crazier that is.

"We're creating destruction cause its beautiful!~" He answered with a small swoon, before being drug over to a concrete block. "That's horrible Zippy. He didn't hurt anyone of you guys, did he?" Kev asked, concerned, seeming a bit more sane than before. Barry going crazy meant he could have hurt Zippy and Cailia, and he cared for both of them.

He shook his head at the last question. "Nope! Haven't seen him in a LONG, LONG time!" He said, glancing around the area they were in, as if expecting said psycho to come out of somewhere. Nope, still no sign of him. He looked back out at the chaos, the fallen buildings, burning structures, and felt a swell of pride and joy. So magnificent!
